Cystitis is a bacterial infection of the bladder or lower urinary tract. Compare Polycist Immage, for example, associated with Polycystic Kidney Disease in patients with Azotemia.
The hallmark of a cyst is an abnormal pocket of fluid, like a blister, that can form in many different areas of the body. Patients are asymptomatic even if the cyst is quite large. Infection: the cyst fills with bacteria and pus, and becomes an abscess. If the abscess bursts inside the body, there is a risk of blood poisoning (septicaemia). Trapped blood (ie. an old hemorrhage or occipital bleed) can also lead to the growth of cysts. ruptured cyst Resources Arachnoid Cyst, cyst Resource hemorrhagic cyst Resources Brain abscess secondary to intracranial extradural epidermoid cyst Cysts explained
