To Dad... 1/10/38 - 31/12/03
In my eyes I saw an illness take a hold of you
But in my heart I saw the dad I love shining through
And though your heart was failing, getting weaker by each day
The strength, love and proudness eminated in every way
So dad now you're resting in heaven up above
Save a seat for me next to the dad I truly love.
I wrote this for my dad when he passed away, bless him.
Special Garg
You have gone to heaven
Above the sky so blue
You are with the angels
They will take good care of you
Garg you were so special
We all love and miss you so
Just how much, you will never know
We wipe the tears from our eyes
Because we know you did not die
Your soul and spirit passed through eternity
There we know our special "GARG" will forever be
We will keep a memory of you inside.
Written by Jennifer Mitchell for her grand father,
my dad when he passed away.
He was affectionately known as Gar-Gar (Garg for short).
Soul Mates
We're all afraid
Of what we don't know
Death is merely a milestone
As we do grow
We're still the same person
Laugh at the same jokes
It happens to us all
Rich, poor, bad and good folks
Life is for living
So carry on the same
My death was inevitable
No-ones to blame
I am but waiting
On the otherside for you
For an interval quite near
When a soul mate becomes two
All is well for now
Nothing is lost or past
A brief moment in time
And our love will forever last
Once more again
We will forever be
Together forever
In eternity.
Some these words were adapted from a card from
the funeral director.
I liked the words so made them into a poem.
