Kyle's Apartment

"Oh Kyle, I love you so much" Krystina whispered in Kyle's ear and kissed him, caressing his strong muscular chest, while being in his arms on the sofa.

"I love you too, Krystina. More then you'll ever known" he kissed her back and moved gently his hand on her blonde soft hair and from there to her neck and breast.

"Oh, Kyle…" she groaned. She never felt like that before. It was the first time she was in a man arms and was surprise how things moved so fast. The passion and the desire controlled them both when she came to his apartment, one thing led to another and before she realized what is going on, she found her sleeves lying with Kyle's wet naked body. She didn't imagine to herself things will develop so fast, and though she stopped him from going though till the end, she felt different. He was her first love and she felt so protected and safe in his arms, forgetting for a moment all the contrasts and problems this love was going to have. "It has never happened to me before… I feel so good with you" she said to him and he smiled.

"I know, I feel the same with you, and I wish it could be last for ever" his expression face changed in once.

"It will, Kyle. It will"

"I want to believe it will, Krystina. But we have to be realistic here. We are both come from different worlds, different cultures. Your father will do everything to break us apart" he explained.

"No, I'll talk with him. He will understand, Kyle. You don't know him. He is the best and he loves me, he'll do anything for me, really!"

"Krystina… I worked with the consortium, I belongs to the people who tried to ruined your family!"

"You didn't know that at the time. And you didn't know me then"

"You know that, but your father will never forgive me or accept me!" he said and stood up, wrapping back the towel around his body.

"So, we'll prove to him you are not working with them anymore. You'll go to the police and turn those people down"

"I can't do that!"

"Why not?"

"Krystina - "

"Kyle, you said you love me!"

"I do!"

"So you'll resign and cut any connection you have to them" she began to dress up.

"Krystina, no matter what I'll do, nothing will get your father to forgive me"

"Leave my father to me" she came closer to him and kissed him. "You'll see everything will be alright," She added.

"I'm going to change" he said and went inside the bedroom, leaving Krystina smiling and happy.

The Carrington Mansion

Dex Dexter pulled his car into the drivway of the Carrington mansion at full speed. He was still upset at Monica for taking Sable and Camron away from him, and he wanted answers.

Dex didn't wait for Gerard to greet him at the door, he just burst into the room. "I need to speak to Jeff right away."

"He's in the study sir, I will go and announce you!" Gerard began, but Dex just brushed past him and made his way to Blake's study. Jeff and Fallon were sitting upon one of the three leather couches, and looked up sightly shocked upon seeing Dex.

"Hello Dex, come in. I'll fix you a drink." Jeff said, but Dex was in no mood for politness.

"Where the hell is that cousin of yours?" Dex Demanded.

"Dex, come on. I'm sure she is at the hospital with Sable." Jeff looked confused.

"I've just come form the hospital, and also form the hotel, and I was informed by the maid that Monica packed up Sable's and Cameron's things and left town!" Dex took a breath. "Jeff, please. If you know anything you have to tell me. I love Sable very much, and I deserve to know where my son is."

"I don't get that. What do you mean left town? Sable is in a coma, how could she take her?"

"They transferred her to another institution… actually Monica did"

"Jeff?" Fallon turned to her husband.

"Monica hadn't told me anything about that. But I'll go and call her right now. I'll try the office, maybe she left me a message or something." Jeff said and walked over to Blake's desk. Dex turned to Fallon.

"When you were with Miles did he say anything about this to you?"

"No, actually Miles was release from the hospital today. But I don't think he is with Monica. She didn't even come to see him today."

"Where is Miles now?"

"I'm not sure… I guess he went back to California. That's at least what he told me"

"Fallon, are you telling me the truth?" Dex could tell she was hiding something from him.

"Of course I am! And I'm sure it has nothing to do with Monica."

"How can you be so sure?" Dex asked when Jeff entered.

"Well I spoked with my secretary. Monica did leave me a message, saying she is leaving town with Sable and Cameron"

"Where to?"

"She didn't say so, I'm sorry Dex. I have no idea where is she"

"Damn her!, Fallon? I have to talk with Miles. There is a chance he knows where is she"

"I don't know where is he, Dex. Honestly"

"I don't get that. You said he left the hospital today. You too are very close, but you still don't know where he went?" Dex asked her again, and Jeff looked at his wife.

"Like I told you, I guess he flew back to California. But Monica is not with him"

"I have to check it myself" Dex said and stormily went out.

"Dex, wait!" Jeff called after him but the man already left the mansion. "Why haven't you told me Miles left the hospital?"

"I was about to, when Dex arrived"

"Don't give me that, Fallon. I know you better then that. You know where Miles is, and you know where is Monica, don't you?"

"I don't believe this. After all this time, you still don't trust me!"

"Not if my brother is involved, and I have a reason to belive he is with Monica"

"I don't know anything about that Jeff, god! It's never stops!" She was annyoed and stood up.

"Don't you dare walk out of me, Fallon!" he called after her but she ignored him and left the room. "Damn it, Damn!"

Harmon Springs Police Headquarters

Adam was pacing the floor. Earlier in the day while talking with his father and sister he had remembered that Dana Warring his ex wife had been at the charity ball, and now was missing. Blake had gone to the hospitals to look for Dana, and Amanda and Adam were now trying to convince the chief of police that Dana was a missing persons.

"Damn it, how many times do I have to go over this." Adam said, "I told you that we were dancing and then right before the comotion Mrs Litton pulled a gun on Dana and I."

"Well Mr. Carrington. I'm trying to believe you, but you say you were dancing with Mrs. Litton, but you didn't reconginize her, and then you were dancing with your ex wife, and didn't reconginize her either, and then this Mrs Litton woman pulled a gun on you, but neither Mrs. Litton, or Mrs. Warring were found at the scene."

"Adam? Are you sure about it all?" Amanda asked her brother again.

"I am not crazy, Amanda, I know what I saw" he said to her and then turned back to the man in blue. " I'm telling you. I'm sure that Mrs. Litton has harmed Dana, and if they are not in the hospitals here in Denver, then Mrs. Litton has taken Dana."

"Well my men are checking with Ms. Warrings home state of Montana to find out her wearabouts, after they are verified, we will check the hospitals, and then the city mourge."

"Oh no, you don't think she's dead." Amanda couldn't stand the thought.

"Well Ms. Carrington we can't rule that out as a posibility, but I promise the both of you, that If Ms. Warring is still in Denver we will find her."

"Well I can't stay here waiting I have to go find father, maybe he has come up with something." Adam said, "Come on Amanda." He said and turned to the police chief.

"You have my cellphone number. The moment you have something call me right away!"

Jim's Apartment

"Ashley? Can you open that?" Jim called from the shower when he heard the doorbell ring.

"Yeah, I'm coming!" Ashley called and went to open the door. But in the moment she saw LB standing in front of her, she slammed harshly the door in his face.

"Not so fast Ash, I want to talk with you" LB stopped her from closing the door.

"Go away, LB. I don't want to talk with you, all right?"

"All right, I'll do all the talking" he answered and forced her to let him in. "I thought about us after you left the mansion" he began "And I came with a conclusion"

"I don't want to hear that, LB"

"You love me. You love me but you don't want to hurt Danny, so you are trying to ignore these feelings"

"Ashley? Who is this?" Jim called again from the shower.

"Just another fund-raiser, that's all!" she answered to Jim and turn back to LB. "Jim will come out any minute, you must go. Now!"

"No, Ashley, not until we'll talk our situation"

"Why can't you accept that? There is no situation, LB. there is no us and there is no feelings, okay? I love Danny, and I'm going to stay with him because I love him. Now I want you to go out of here, and leave me alone once and for all!"

"Danny was there as well"

"What?" she got confused.

"At the mansion, in the living room, when you looked over the family photos. I didn't see you holding Danny's photo. You could have taken his, but you didn't, you choose me"

"Choose you? You are sick, LB! You are so sick!"

"Yes you right, I am sick. Love sick"

he smiled and in the moment he note that Jim went out from the shower, he hold Ashley in his arms and kissed her passionately. Jim stood by and stared at them kissing, until LB released the girl and left the apartment, leaving her speechless.

"Playing with fire?" Jim asked when the door slammed after LB left.

"It's not what you think" Ashley defended her self.

"And what should I think?"

"Oh, Jim… I don't know what to do. It's driving me crazy!"

"What? The fact you are dating one guy but are in love with his cousin?"

"I love Danny!"

"But you love LB too, right?"

"It was never supposed to be like that. I didn't know LB when Danny and I started dating. You remember the guy who found the ring?"

"The one you lost"

"Yes. It was LB. he gave me back the ring and expected me to go on date with him. I turned him down and thought I'll never see him again - "

"Until Danny introduced you to his family"

"Yes, in the charity ball. And since then he's been trying to convince me to leave Danny for him"

"Well, as long Danny doesn't know - " Jim began but Ashley stopped him.

"No, Jim, I'm not going to do that. I won't hurt Danny's feelings. And besides, we both know what lies and betrayal cause eventually, right?"

"Hey, that's not fair, Ashley" Jim knew what she is talking about.

"Why not? I saw how deeply you hurt my mother, Jim. I'll never cause Danny the pain and sorrow my mother had been through because of you"

"Oh come on, Ash. I wasn't the only one who destroyed that relationship, and you know that!"

"Its not important now, Jim. I just don't want to mess up Danny's life or to come between him and his cousin. I won't do that"

"Well, Good Luck, after what I saw here, you are certainly going to need it!" he said and went inside to his bedroom, leaving Ashley confused and bothered.

Delta Rho

Sammy Jo was in the kitchen, trying to learn a new recipe. She wanted to surprise Jim with a dinner tomorrow, and decided to start with a something special. She never was a good cook but she knew the way to a man's heart is through his stomach and was determined to come with a romantic dinner.

"Mom? You here?" she heard Danny's voice as the door slammed.

"In the kitchen!" she called and he entered there.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he seemed upset.

"Tell you what?" she didn't understand what he was talking about.

"About Jim and Dad, you know they are together, right?" he was sure Sammy Jo knew all about it.

Sammy Jo turned to him, surprised. "How do you know?"

"Ashley saw Dad with Jim, kissing!"

"Oh no"

"Oh yes! How can he do that, mother? He finally left this world and came back to us. Why he is doing this again? Why?"

"Danny, please calm down"

"No, I won't calm down, I don't want to calm down! He lied to me, he lied to both of us!"

"He didn't lie, Danny. Steven didn't know I'm dating with Jim when he met him. And of course I didn't know either."

"But Jim knew, right? He played with the both of you, causing you to break up!"

"Danny, that has nothing to do with Jim. You know your father and I were having problems for a long time" she tried to explained him and let him see things from another point of view, but it was hard. He still wanted his parents to stay together, and now that he found out there is a man involved with both of them, it won't be easy to calm him and explain him the situation.

"But you tried to work them out. You stayed together until this bastard showed up and came between you and dad, it's all his fault!"

"Danny, please listen to me. There is nobody to blame here, okay? Your father and I decided to move on with our lives regardless of Jim"

"No, don't try to defend him, he destroyed your relationship and now he is trying to ruin any chance dad and you will be back together!"

"There is no 'dad and me' Danny, I don't want your father, I have the right to live with somebody else. And it's about time you understand that, Danny. You are not a child anymore"

"It's irrelevant. You and dad belong together - and I won't stand aside and let Jim ruined your life. I won't!" he said angry and left the kitchen stormily.

"Damn!" Sammy Jo stayed at her position, wondering what will be now.

Downtown Denver; Adam's car

Adam and Amanda had spent the better part of the day searching the hospitals of Denver. Finally Amanda had to tell her father to go home. Blake was becoming tired and the strain of searching for Dana was taking its toll on him.

Adam and Amanda were driving to another hospital and were sitting in complete silence when Amanda couldn't take it anymore. "Adam can I ask you something personal."

"Anything."

"What was Dana like?"

Adam smiled thinking of Dana Warring, his second wife. "She was so beautiful. I was really in love with her once, and I think she really loved me. She stood by me through many things. When I found out I wasn't a Carrington. I almost pushed her away, but she wouldn't have that, and when I found out that Neil McVain lied about who I really was She was the one I turned to. She was so beautiful, kind and gentle."

"Then why did she leave you?"

"She left me, for the same reason Claudia did. I wanted power, and wealth, and I stepped on anyone to get it, I hurt her so very badly, She couldn't carry our child, and I sort of blamed her for that."

"Oh Adam how awful."

"It was more complicated than that, but she finally couldn't stand what I was turning into, and left me. I don't blame her; in fact it was probably best for her. I always end up hurting the ones I love."

"Adam you must not say such things. You are a very loving and caring man."

"Well if it wasn't for me Dana would be all right now, if anything has happened to her I will never forgive myself." He said.

Colby-Co

Caress Morel sat at the glass top desk in Alexis's former office at ColbyCo. She worked through the huge stack of papers that lay in front of her, passing a vague look over financial and drilling reports, geological reports, profit and loss statements, and purchase contracts that she had ordered to make herself familiar with the current operations of ColbyCo. Caress leaned back in her chair, folding her hands behind her head and stretching her body. She had expected that running ColbyCo would be a lot of work but never this much, and she was beginning to think that she might have made a mistake. Caress enjoyed the feeling of power, but the business world was nothing that she could relate to.

Her goal had been to hurt her sister, and that she had already accomplished. But she didn't have any interest in the oil business, and she was aware of her lack of experience to run an enterprise the size of ColbyCo. She wanted to give up the responsibility of running the business and she hoped the man she was going to meet would handle it.

A knock on the door distracted her from reading through the correspondence.

A young female assistant entered the office with another file. "Good morning, Mrs. Morel." She greeted Caress politely. "Mr. McKency from the research and development department needs your signature under this contract."

Caress took the file that read "Oak Junction" from her and superficially examined it. She didn't get entirely what it was about. "The land is up for sale?" She asked.

"Yes, ma'am."

"And Mr. McKency thinks I should buy it, doesn't he?" She asked further.

The young employee looked at Caress irritated. "Well, the deal seems very lucrative, Mrs. Morel"

"Really?" She asked, reading though the figures and numbers, but couldn't understand them. "I need more time to think about it." Caress said, closing the file.

"Excuse me, but the decision is urgent." The assistant insisted.

Caress felt at a loss, unable to make a decision right away. She stood up and went over to the window, purposely turning her back to the young woman before asking. "Has Mrs. Colby already expressed her opinion on it?"

Before the assistant could answer she was cut off by a buzz of the intercom. Caress felt relieved. She approached the desk and pressed the button to speak. "Yes, Sarah?"

"Mr. Carrington is here to see you, Mrs. Morel." Her secretary announced.

Caress was pleased. "Wonderful. Send him in." She said, before she dismissed the assistant. "I'm afraid I have to decide that later."

"Sure, Mrs. Morel." She replied, smiling politely before she turned to leave.

The door opened and Steven entered.

"Thanks for coming, I need to speak with you, Steven." She greeted him as he approached the desk.

"Why don't you have a seat?" Caress offered.

"Thank you, but I won't stay long." Steven said firmly. He remained standing as Caress took her seat behind Alexis's glass desk. Steven's facial expression made obvious how less he liked that sight.

"What is it that you want, Caress?" Steven asked, impatiently.

"I was informed that you resigned from your position on the board and from the position as executive vice president of ColbyCo."

"That's right." He replied curtly.

"Well, I'm disappointed about your decision." Caress admitted. "I know I should have expected something like that from you. Even though I think you should reconsider it." She added demanding.

"Should I? Why?"

"Because it's the wrong way to show your mother your loyalty." She explained.

"That's not the point."

"So it's not. Then what else is the point?"

Steven was becoming angry. "Why don't you answer that question for yourself."

Caress shrugged her shoulders and played naive. "I have no idea what you mean."

"Don't play stupid. I know you belong to them."

Caress tried to stay calm. "I swear I've never been involved in violence and my takeover of ColbyCo was entirely legal."

Steven couldn't tolerate Caress's excuses. "Your only intention was to hurt Alexis. Don't ..."

Caress cut him off. "Alexis got what she deserves, but that's something just between her and I and doesn't concern you." She yelled at him, but calmed down immediately, leaning back in her chair. " I'm inexperienced in business matters. I can't deny that. But you're familiar with ColbyCo and the oil business, and that's exactly what I need."

"What is that, an official offer?" Steven asked ironically.

Caress was quick. "Yes. I offer you the position as executive vice president and I hope you'll accept it."

Steven didn't consider her offer for a second. "You wanted ColbyCo. You also wanted control over the board. Fine, you got it. But maybe you have bitten off more than you can chew, Caress? You certainly have, but that's just too damn bad for you. Don't expect any help from me." He turned to walk out of the office.

Caress hadn't expected this conservation to be easy, but still she had hoped to convince Steven. Owning ColbyCo was beginning to cause more trouble than joy.

Alexis's Penthouse

"Why did you do that?" Alexis asked Steven when he came to her penthouse, wanting to make sure she is all right.

"I can't settle it with my conscience to work for an enterprise, that's controlled by the Consortium." Steven explained.

She put her hands on his chest. "Darling, please don't do that!" She looked at him with pleading eyes.

"Caress has not enough experience in business matters. Without keeping an eye on her she'll run ColbyCo into the ground in no time."

"Oh, I'm aware of that. I talked to her at the office this morning. I believe she hasn't the slightest clue how to handle the job. Probably that's why she asked me to stay with ColbyCo." He said with disgust in his voice. "But I've turn her offer down."

"We're still in control of forty nine of stock. We can do a lot with that until we'll win sole ownership of ColbyCo back." She reassured him. "But until then we have to prevent her from destroying everything you and I have worked for. Please take her offer, darling"

Steven signed in frustration and reluctantly agreed. It was nearly impossible for him to reject his mother, especially because he knew she was right.

Alexis's face lit up in relief. "You know how much I need you. You're the only one I trust entirely, ... you and Zach."

The mention of Zach Powers upset Steven. "Powers is the last person you need right now." He interjected. "You shouldn't trust him! He is unscrupulous and ..."

Alexis held up her hand and interrupted him. "Oh please, stop that! I need Zach and he has shown more than once that I can count on his help."

Obviously, he was fighting a losing battle. For reasons beyond Steven's understanding Alexis seem to trust Zach Powers.

"Do you still intend to marry him?" Steven asked. He still had very strong reservations about his mother getting married to Zach Powers.

Alexis looked down. "No, I called it off."

"That are the first good news in weeks." Steven said pleased. "What changed your mind?"

"Nothing changed my mind. I change it. That's a woman's privilege." She brushed him off.

"Has it something to do with Dex?" Steven inquired carefully.

Alexis didn't responded. But by the look on her face Steven knew the answer even through. "Want to talk about it." Steven offered. But Alexis shook her head.

Steven could see the sadness in her eyes and decided not to sadden her further by continuing to ask her about Dex. She was obviously not willing to share her feelings with him right now. He paused for a moment and then changed the subject.

"We should talk with dad about it. Maybe we could meet at ColbyCo tomorrow and pay a visit to Caress."

Alexis's sadness turned to anger. "Meeting Blake? What for? All of this would have never happen without the help of his sister. Maybe she even belongs to them. And I'm sure Blake is more than delighted about it." Alexis interjected.

He knew she wasn't going to like his suggestion and he knew her stubbornness, but that was absurd. "Oh, mother, this is out of line! Neither Blake nor Dominique have something to do with you loosing ColbyCo."

Alexis turned away from him. She didn't believe it herself, but was too angry with Dominique to admit it.

"You want to get ColbyCo back as soon as possible, don't you?" He quickly added. "Please swallow your pride, forget about your dispute with dad and talk to him. I'll asked Blake for the same." Steven stepped closer to her, put his hand of her shoulders and turned her around to face him. "Woo and Van Dorn are dead. But who are the other bastards behind the Consortium. Maybe Caress knows. She's our only chance. Please work on this together for the sake of our family and for the sake of ColbyCo and Denver Carrington. Alright, mother?"

Alexis hesitated but agreed eventually, realizing that she had no other choice. "Alright! I'll do it." She said annoyed.

Steven kissed her on the cheek and started to depart. "I'll call you when I talked to Blake"

The Carlton Hotel

"Are you sure about that, Frankie?, it is terribly important" Dex talked with Sable's sister. He knew the two of them barely spoke, but he was desperate for information and decided to call California and trying to see if they know something. But Frankie didn't heard nothing from Sable or Monica in the last few days. And Dex didn't had a reason to disbelive her. He wanted to talk with Miles, maybe he knows something, but Frankie said Miles arrvied to the Colby Mansion tired and weak and went to sleep. He was still healling from his injuries and Frankie didn't agree to wake him up from his sleep. Well, at least he is there, Fallon didn't lie… Dex thought to himself.

"Mr. Dexter, like Mrs. Colby's doctor said, I can't give you this information. Legally You are not Mrs. Colby's relative. You are even not listed at the father of her child. Now I'm sorry, but I can't help you!" the Chaney Hospital's manager annouced to Dex and asked him to leave.

"Doctor Lord is right, you don't have any right in this case, Mr Dexter. Legaly, you aren't Cameron's father" the lawyer explained to Dex who became now even more desperate. The lawyer was right. What a stupid mistake it was, not to list Cameron as his son when he came back to Denver. Now even the police couldn't helped him with that. But Dex couldn't give up.

"I am sorry, Mr. Dexter, but Mrs. Colby didn't told us a word. Cameron didn't showed up in school more then a week. I don't have any idea to which school his sister transfered him" Cameron's school manger said to Dex, and that was the last straw. He didn't had other choice. It was his last hope. He opened the phone book and called a dectetive.

"Hello is this Mr. Peter Richerts? My name is Farnsworth Dexter, I'm interested in your services in locating missing persons."
