"My first, my last, my everything, and the answer to all my dreams" Barry White's song was heard from the compact disk while Danny, happy and amused, took out clothes from his closet and packed them in the big brown suitcase that was on his bad. "All your dreams?" he heard a familiar voice behind him. LB entered the room, leaving the door half opened. "Hey, cuss! What's up?" Danny asked him all smiled and gave him five. "Well you tell me! You flying to the moon or something?" he asked, looking at the suitcase.
"Well flying yes, but not to the moon. I'm going to Princeton, bro!" "Princeton?" "Well yep! I decided to move there after all, I'm leaving tonight, with my parents" "Wow! That a surprise, I thought you decided to stay here in Denver" "Well, let's say something changed my mind" "Ashley?" LB asked trying to understand what is going on here. "Yep! My first, my last, my everything!" Danny called amused and continued to pack his suitcases. "So you are going to brake up with her?" LB asked him and began to develop a theory of his own. If Danny is leaving for Princeton, that's mean Ash will stay here in Denver alone! "Why, you want her all to your self?" Danny asked and LB got paled for a second. "What?" He asked, not seeing the shadow of Ashley who arrived and stopped at the doorway, listening to their conversation. "Relax! What happened to you, I was just kidding!" Danny said, still smiling.
"Oh, ye" LB answered and forced a smile on his face. "So? What is going on with you? Did you find the mystery girl of yours?" Danny asked suddenly. "Actually I did" LB said and Ashley, outside, was ready to come in, scared LB will tell something to his cousin about them. "Wow, LB, it's great! You didn't tell me anything about that! It's so cool. How did you find her? You know her name?" "Yes, Ashley!" LB answered and Danny was confused for a second. "Ashley?" he asked. "Yes! I'm right here!, What took you so long, LB?!" Ashley entered the room and LB looked at her, stunned. "Ash!" Danny called surprised. "Hey!" she called and kissed her boyfriend passionately. "What is going on here?" Danny asked them, still confused. "LB and I wanted to surprise you!" "Surprise me?" the boy was now confused even more. "Yep! Right, LB?" she asked and gave LB a hard sharp look. "Well, yes. Yes. It just that I didn't notice she was here already" "Okay" Danny said, still not sure if to believe them or not. "But LB and I was in the middle of something. He told me he found the girl he was looking too" "Really?" Ashley asked pretending surprised. "Yes, but it didn't worked out" LB looked at her. "No?" Danny asked. "Why? She is not interested?" Ashley asked LB, continue the act. "Something like that" LB forced to corporate. "Oh, I'm sorry, man. I know how much you hoped to find her - " "I'm sure he'll find someone else. There's plenty girls in this world" Ashley said, still looking at LB with sharp look. "Ye, I guess so" "Any way, did you tell LB our news?" "Well you told him already, no?" Danny asked and LB looked at them, not understand. "Only that you're leaving for Princeton, I didn't wanted to spoil all the surprise" "What a surprise?" LB asked. "Danny bought me a flight ticket to Israel, I'm going to visit my family there before I'm moving to Princeton with him" she said all smiled. "You moving to Princeton?" LB looked at them, shocked even more. "Yep! Isn't it great?" Ashley smiled to LB and then turned to Danny and kissed him. The Carrington Mansion Looking around her, making sure nobody was there, Krystina stepped quietly into to the house and closed the door behind her. Nobody was there. It was Sunday morning, and she hoped her parents had not woken up yet. Silently, she went upstairs to her bedroom, and closed the door behind her, hoping nobody saw her coming. In the second Krystina's door closed, Amanda went out of her room stepped down the stairs as Fallon showed up, coming from the kitchen. Both sisters glanced at each other with emotional gazes, Fallon's nothing but pure disgust for her sister, and Amanda's only pity. "Well, Amanda. You look especially happy this morning, plotting with the enemy again?" Fallon spat.
"Maybe you should pay attention to your marriage and stop interfering with my life." Amanda said, she hated fighting with her older sister, but Fallon never gave an inch. "There is nothing wrong with my marriage! Jeff and I are fine, besides the face you always seem to be around comforting him, and trying to come between us!" "I wouldn't have to comfort him, if you could make up your mind which Colby you are in love with."
"How dare you! You have no right to talk to me about choices, when you choose to marry Max, and have his child. You knew he was working for the consortium, and you did it any way. Even though you knew it would hurt daddy." "You know nothing of my life with Max, and I don't have to justify anything to you." Amanda took off down the stairs with tears in her eyes, as Fallon noticed Jeff stepping downstairs. "How can you be so cold and callous to your own sister?" Jeff said as he came toward her.
"The same way you have been to Miles all these years." Jeff ignored Fallon's remarks and began to go after Amanda, but his wife stopped him. "Where are you going?" "To find Amanda, and apologies for your rude behavior." Jeff defended. "Running to comfort my sister, how noble of you, Jeff." "Good. Maybe we are even now for all the nights you've been spending with Miles - but it never minds now Fallon, We are going to talk about that. Later!" he said angry and ran after Amanda who went to the study. When he found her she was curled up in Blake's Chair in the study. "May I come in?" "Yes, you may come in Jeff" She wiped her eyes. "Oh Jeff, why does she have to be so cruel, she becoming more and more like mother every day." "I'm sorry about that. I'm not defending what she said or did, but I know she very upset right now, she feels like she let the family down." "Because she didn't stopped the shooting at the charity ball?" "Something like that yes, she's also having nightmares again, and she feels so responsible for Miles." "I don't know, Jeff. Maybe I should go back to Europe, it will be better for everybody" "Absolutely no! We love you here, Amanda. And you are going to stay here. You're a part of this family, you got that?" he encouraged her and she smiled. "Fallon is very lucky to have you, Jeff. You are very special man" He smiled to her. "And this special man cares about you very much, you remember that" he put his arm on her shoulder. "I will" she answered and hugged him suddenly. "Thank you, Jeff. Thank you for everything" "You welcome" he hugged her back. Neither one-saw Fallon standing at the door, nor the fax with Dana's photo, that was still thrown on the floor. Caress's apartment "No, I'm innocent!!" Caress cried, awaking fearful from a nightmare. She looked around at her bedroom, trying to calm herself down after realizing where she was. She lay back, pulling the satin sheets up to her chin. It were always the same memories flooding through her dreams - the blood on her hands and her dress, getting handcuffed and taken to the police station for questioning, the trial, the verdict of guilty, getting dragged out of the court room, being escorted through dark corridors into a tiny, dank jail cell, and the molestation of the guards. She had successfully managed to repress those memories out of her mind after ten years of psychotherapy, but her return to Denver and the meeting with Alexis and Zach had brought it all back. "How could you do that to me?" She cried and then took a few deep breaths, fighting back tears and trying to remember the night that turned her life into pure hell. But her memories from this night were foggy and she couldn't recall everything because of the amount of alcohol she had drunk that night. It had been only days after she had introduced Zach, the man she had fallen in love with, to her sister that she had noticed Alexis and Zach exchanging flirtatious glances and spending more and more time together. Caress knew she had accused both of them with her suspicion that night after calling Alexis's Venezuelan lover, telling him about Alexis's and Zach's affair and encourage herself with a lot of drinks. But then her memory went blank. What ever had happened that night had caused the death of Alexis's lover and put her into jail for five terrible years. Caress was eager to find out the truth. She believed Alexis and Zach had arranged their stories and decided to blame her to get rid of her and have the freedom to continue their affair. But she was not going to give up on this, no now. She had to be strong and deal with what ever would come next. And she knew exactly who would help her with that. She looked at the clock. It was Sunday's morning, 11:00 AM. "I have to make sure nobody will find out. I have to!" she whispered to herself. The Carlton Hotel - Dex's suite "Damn it Man, I don't want anymore of your excuses I want Sable and my son found. I don't want to hear any excuses about dead ends." Dex was upset. He had spent the last ten minutes hearing his private eye telling him that the search for his son was useless. "I'm sorry Mr. Dexter, but the clinic in New York was empty. Sable was there for a day, but was transferred; the doctors there are unwilling to tell me where Monica took her." "They are unwilling, well maybe I should pay them a visit." Dex said as he slammed his fist on the desk. "Keep looking dig up anything you can find, you have two days, and then I'm finding new help" "Yes Mr. Dexter I will do my best." Dex hung up the phone. He couldn't take this much longer. He just had to get his son back. It wasn't fair. First the consortium had kept him away form Sable and Cameron and now Monica was the roadblock preventing his happiness. "Damn it!" He screamed as he scattered the contents of the desk with his fists. As he did so his eyes fell upon a photo of Sable holding his son Cameron. "I will get the two of you back, and we will have all the happiness that we deserve." The Mansion: Blake's study Singing to herself, the maid turned around Blake's study and cleaned dust over his desk. "Are you finishing here, Lucy?" Janette asked her when she came in. "Yes I am, Janette, in a second" she said and was about to leave the room when the broom swept a piece of paper that was spread out on the floor. "What's that?" she bent down and took the paper. "Dear good, Janette, Janette, come over here quickly!" she called hysterically, holding the fax with Dana's photo. Delta Rho - Afternoon "Surprise!" was heard all over the beautiful ranch's patio. Danny looked around completely shocked at his friends and family. His parents have once again pulled one over him giving him a surprise going away party. He didn't even see it coming. "So you two knew all about that!" Danny said to LB and Ashley who stood by his side, once he regained his senses.
"Well, it was your parent's idea, I was just suppose to take you out and bring you back here now!" Ashley smiled slyly. "And I just helped your mom invite your friends" LB smiled, he was happy for Danny but he was still in love with Ashley. Ever since she told him about her flight to Israel, and the plan to move with Danny to Princeton, he couldn't think about something else but her. In a few days she's supposing to leave Denver, he have only two or three days to convince her she should stay with him. "Well I hope that's the last secret my girlfriend and best friend keep from me" He said smiling, referring to the bizarre incident between them earlier today. Slowly he approached the rest of his guests. Ashley looked at her feet uncomfortable avoiding LB's stare. She was glad Danny and she were leaving. "Congratulation Danny, we are really proud of you!" Blake hugged his grandson.
"But we are going to miss you!" Krystle added and hugged him too.
"Thanks, I'll miss you both too" Danny smiled. Steven watched his son being greeted by his family and friends. Danny seemed so happy. Steven was thrilled about Danny's decision to go away. His son needed to branch out and realize there's a whole world out there. The party was a success. When Sammy Jo suggested this party he thought it was a great idea. In a few hours both of them invited the guests, went shopping and set the surprise. It reminded him how well they worked together completing each other so easily. Fallon greeted Danny followed by Amanda and Adam. Fallon made a grand gesture and gave Amanda a cold shoulder. Jeff standing by signed. Has he been that out of touch to miss out what was going on between his sisters? Steven thought to himself. "Hey sis, how are you?" Steven approached Fallon. "Congratulation on joining the parents who miss their kids away at college" Fallon smiled at him. "Thanks, I think! So what was that all about?" He asked . "What?" Fallon looked at Steven curiously. "Amanda?" "I don't trust her, she has slept with the enemy's help, not to mention had his daughter" Fallon frowned "Fallon, she's been through enough. Right now she needs her family most" Steven knew his older sister too well. Her emotions usually got the better of her, and she was always impulsive and blunt. "She has Adam at her side…" Fallon frowned. Steven knew how strongly his sister felt about Adam but smiled. "Fallon, give her a chance. I think you'll like her once you get to know her. Don't judge her so harshly, love is blind, you of all people should know" Fallon looked at him, always so nice and trusting. "Maybe!" Steven frowned she was so stubborn, "At least for dad" Steven knew he struck a nerve, Fallon signed. "Alright, just a long a she stays away from Jeff" "Oh Fallon, you know Jeff only has eyes for you…" Steven knew they were having problems but they always worked them out. Fallon smiled at her brother watching his smile turn into a frown, she followed his gaze. Sammy Jo was talking to Blake and Krystle with a really handsome guy, he looked familiar but Fallon couldn't place him. He was flirting with Sammy Jo; they seem to almost touch, sharing an intimacy that could only come from being lovers. "Speaking of giving things a chance, what about you and Sammy Jo?" Fallon asked as Steven turned to look at her. "Huh?" "You heard me" "I have decided to enjoy our trip to New York and based on that make my decision" Steven signed. "It's about time!" Fallon accepted Steven's homosexuality a long time ago. She also knew that Sammy Jo had accepted it eventually also but Steven's behavior the past few years has baffled them both. "Thanks for the support, sis" "Well you have to stop avoiding it!" Fallon added . "Fallon, sweetheart! How are you?" Alexis showed up suddenly and kissed her daughter's cheek. "Hello mother!" Fallon said . "You wouldn't mind if I take your brother for a sec?" Alexis grabbed Steven and walked away before Fallon answered. "And if I would mind?!" Fallon stated to no one in particular. "Fallon, let do lunch when I get back" Steven shouted as Alexis dragged him. "Call me" Fallon shouted back. Danny walked around, Ashley right beside him. "Hey, college guy!" Krystina approached him. "Hey beautiful! It's about time you show up!" "Congrads" the girl smiled at him when Lauren joined them. "So tell me how I am going to survive this life without you" "How are we both going to survive?" Lauren added. "You both will be fine. After all you have Carrington blood" Danny smiled; he was going to miss them. "And remember I'm only a chat room away" he said. "I'll remember that, Dan. I wish you all the best, really. And write me cool things, I promise to write you back" "Cool" "Great, now come here, and give a huge to your little aunt" she smiled.
"What, you leaving?" "Yes, I have to meet somebody, sorry" "What, a guy?" "Something like that, yes" "Oh don't tell me you are seeing this character again" Danny guessed. "My father told me all about that" "So now the whole family knows?" "Krys, we just want you to be happy" "I am, okay? Now I have to go. Take care" "You too" he hugged her. Amanda watched Adam pace up and down. "Adam, please calm down it will all be okay" "I hope so" He mumbled. Amanda watched Cathy and Joseph running around. They seem to get along so well. The party was in full swing, most of Danny's friends were in the pool playing while the adults stood on the patio drinking, eating and talking. "I think there's a ring. your cell phone maybe?" Amanda said when she heard a ringing. "Yes" He said and answered. While Cathy cried suddenly loudly, seemed to be fighting with Joseph. "Mommy" the little girl ran to her mother. "Joseph hit me" she cried and point her finger toward her cousin. "No, I did not!" the boy lied and Fallon took his hand. "Like father, like son" Fallon whispered, but Amanda heard that. "It's not fair, Fallon" "Well life isn't fair, you should know that" Fallon sharked back and stopped herself from saying something more. She told Stevens he'll make an effort with her sister, and she didn't want to destroy Danny's party. "Amanda, I have to go, watch Joseph!" Adam called suddenly.
"What is going on?" "Janette received a fax; it has something to do with Dana. I have to go; I'm sure its form Mrs. Litton." Adam said and ran out when Jeff joined Amanda. "Mrs. Litton, he said?"
"Yes, I - "she began but Jeff cut her words. "Fallon, watch the kids - come on Amanda, let's go!" He grabbed his sister in-law by hand and they stormed out, leaving Fallon standing furious. "Well Krystle, I can see you found Blake finally," Alexis said sarcastically when she entered the room Joining Blake and Krystle.
"No, Blake came back to me as always!" Krystle replied. "Ladies, please! This is a time we should stick together." Blake stated "Well Blake, Your son in-law just left with Adam and Amanda. And your youngest daughter slipped out a few minutes ago, is that what you calls 'sticking together?' Alexis told him, hardly hiding her smile. "Damn!" Blake was angry. "Blake? Where you going?" "To find her!" the old man said and left. "You never stop, do you, Alexis?" Krystle gave her a hard sharp look and went after Blake. Danny picked up a soda from the cooler and headed for the pool. "Well good luck Danny!" Jim approached him
"What are you doing here?" "Ashley invited me" He smiled slyly. Danny frowned and continued walking. "You know Danny, I will always be apart of her life, which is more than I can say for you"" Jim stopped Danny. "Let me remind you the same about my parents, not to mention what they've agreed to do for me…" Danny pushed him away and walked on. Sammy Jo picked up the paper plates and put them in the plastic bag. The patio and poll were empty. Danny and his friends were inside listening to music and the family left. "Well the party was a huge success!" Steven came through the screen door . "Yeah, it was. The family sure needed one" Sammy Jo smiled as she continued to clean. "Yeah, we all needed one. Danny seems so happy; I'm really going to miss him." Steven handed Sammy Jo some plastic cups and a few beer bottles. "Me too!" Sammy Jo said and looked at Steven cleaning. "You seemed tired"
"Yes I am. This vacation to New York is exactly what I need" "Despite the fact that's it with me?" Steven decided to be impulsive, for the upcoming week he was going to be impulsive with Sammy Jo, he might as well start. He grabbed her and kissed her. "Because it's with you!" He Steven pulled her close and continued to kiss her. Sammy Jo dropped the plastic bag and fall into his strong big arms. None of them saw Jim standing at the corner, looking at them with a horror look in his eyes. A small cheap Motel somewhere in Denver Inside a shady motel chain on the outskirts of Denver, A beautiful black woman obviously Jamaican, slowly returned to her dark dirty room. All the shades were drawn and it was dark inside, the woman quickly slipped her key into the hole, and pushed the door open. Inside tied to a swiveled chair was her prisoner Dana Warring. "Ah, I see you have been waiting for my return." Mrs. Litton said she put down a small package; it contained a sandwich and some soda. "You look hungry. You have to keep up your strength, so that my plan will run smoothly. Dana looked up at this woman, her captor, frightened beyond comprehension. She couldn't understand why this woman was holding her prisoner, and all she knew was that it was Adam's fault some how. She had to find away out, and fast. This woman was mad, and she knew it. Mrs. Litton opened the package with the sandwich and looked at Dana. "If I take off your ropes, and gags, do you promise to behave, or do I have to get physical." Dana nodded and Mrs. Litton took off the ropes. "Thank you." Dana replied, as she took her sandwich, and began to eat. "I really am sorry Mrs. Warring, but this will all be over soon." She said with a smile knowing that her final phase of her plan would be emotion soon, and Adam Carrington would soon be put to death, a very painful death caused by her. Dana didn't like the way Mrs. Litton was looking at her, now was the time to make her move. "Please, may I go to the bathroom? I've been tied up all day, and I really need to go." Mrs. Litton looked at her cautiously, and then nodded. Dana made her way to the bathroom, but Mrs. Litton called to her. "Don't try anything foolish. I would hate for any harm to come to you." Mrs. Litton laughed as she caressed her gun. Dana went into the bathroom and shut the door. She looked around. "I have to get out of here some how" The place was discussing, it was dirty, Dana looked over to the shower, no escape there. Then she noticed a small broken window. "Maybe if I squeeze I can fit through there." Dana went to the shower, and turned on the water, hoping to fool Mrs. Litton that she was in the shower. Slowly and cautiously she approached the window, trying not to make any noise, she slowly turned the latch that held the window in place, and with a little click it gave way. She slid the window as far as she could. "Oh this is smaller than I thought." "Oh but it isn't it, Mrs. Warring." Dana turned around shocked as Mrs. Litton stood in the doorway holding a gun. "I told you not to try anything foolish. This is such a pity." Mrs. Litton raised the gun with a silencer and pointed it at Dana who began to shake and cry. click hereto continue... |
