Denver Carrington-Blake's office

Blake sat behind the desk in his lavishly decorated office inside Denver Carrington. He couldn't help but smile. It was his first day back at the office since the awful experience at the charity ball, and the fact that Jeff was joining him made him smile even more.

"Blake I just read the last reports form wall street. Denver Carrington stock has dropped three points since yesterday." Jeff frowned. "We've dropped eleven points since charity ball."

"Do you think it's serious?"

"I think any dip in percentages is alarming, I think that the investors are worried that if the consortium is exposed, any implications that our prior business dealings with them will result in our being charged right along side of them."

Blake looked worried. "I would hope that the board of directors here and any of our investors would know that I've spent the past six years trying to clean up the mess started by Jeremy and his men." Blake paused, and then looked out the window. "I know we are far form separating ourselves them, but I won't let Denver Carrington slip away so easily."

"You are right." Jeff added.

"I want you to call accounting, and find out about our cash reserves." Blake stated as he became excited. "I want you to buy up as much Denver Carrington stock as possible. What ever is on the market?"

Jeff smiled; it was nice to see the old man excited about the business again. "As soon as our meeting is done, I'll get right on it." Jeff was interrupted by a buzz of the intercom; Blake's secretary announced that Dex Dexter was there to see them.

"Blake I'm sorry to interrupt, but I've been trying to track Jeff down all morning." Dex said as he entered the room.

"That's quite all right. Is there anything wrong?"

"No, but I really need to ask for Jeff's help." Dex said.

"My help?" Jeff was confused.

"Yes, the private detective I hired has tracked down Sable in Rome, and I would really appreciate it if you would accompany me. I think that if Monica see a friendly face, she might let me see Sable, and my son."

"I will do all that I can, when do we leave?" Jeff asked.

"Well, I know it's a short notes…. this evening" He exclaimed.

"Blake?" Jeff turned to Blake looking for approval.

"Go, go. I can manage here" the old man improved.

Dex stood up shaking Jeff and Blake's hand. "Thank you Blake." He turned back to Jeff. "Meet me at the airport at nine. Were taking my jet to New York, and then catching a flight to Rome." Dex finished and left the room.

"Well I had better get on those stock purchases before I leave." He said. "But we really should discuss these reports." He said as he picked up the three read folders. "First there is the Nelson project." He passed Blake the folder. "This project involves an urban renewal project that we are bidding on with."

Blake interrupted him. "With Greg Nelson, I know. I still think we should try and tap our oil resources, but this might be just the project Adam needs right now."

"Good then we are agreed. I think with Adam's expertise in the law field, and his work in politics he will fit in with Governor Nelson, and his team." Jeff Paused and handed Blake the second folder. "Now this is the Bradshaw account. It's the shipping account we set up two years about with the firm form Italy." He paused as he took a drink form the water cup sitting next to him. "They are demanding more money, and are holding back on delivery of our Oil reserves form Singapore." "Well maybe it's a good thing you are going to Rome; you can help Dex, and over see this deal in one shot."

Jeff smiled. He loved the man that was sitting across from him, and he loved the fact that Blake trusted him. "Well then there is only the La Mirage file left. I think that with Sable gone, we may as well sell the property."

"It's already been taken care of. I sold her this morning." Blake said.

"To whom" Jeff asked?

"You will find out soon enough." Blake smiled, hoping his surprise would please Jeff. "Now don't you think you should go home and plan your trip?"

Jeff smiled as he left the room, but he couldn't figure out why Blake was keeping the sell of La Mirage secret.

Jim's apartment building

'Hey, it's Jim. Please leave a message' Jim's automatic machine answered and Ashley nervously shut down the phone.

"Where are you, Jim? It's late" she looked at the clock. Her flight to Newark airport was about to leave in less then an hour. If she missed it - she would miss the flight to Israel. She couldn't let down her family there again. She sat down on the heavy suitcase and waited for the phone to ring. The doorbells that rang two seconds later cheered her up. She jumped and went to open the door.

"Did you forget your keys again?" she called, expecting to find Jim in the doorway. But it wasn't Jim. "I should have known you'd come" she said to LB who didn't waited to an invitation and entered the flat.

"I came to say goodbye, that's of course if you still leaving"

"Of course I'm leaving! I'm just waiting to Jim. He needs to come any minute" she said while closing the door.

"Well, it's pretty late, isn't it?" LB looked at his watch. "When is the flight?"

"Two o'clock"

"Wow, you have less then an hour, you sure Jim is on the way?"

"Yes" she answered when the phone rang. "Hello? Jim, where are you? What? Oh, no…. Well too bad you didn't call me earlier…. Oh, I see. All right…. No. no, its okay, I'll take a cab. Yes, I'm sure…. you too, Jim. Thank you for everything. Okay, I will. Thanks, bye" she hung up.

"He's not coming?"

"No, stuck in surgery…"

"Well, lucky I'm here" LB was glad. At least he'll take her to the airport.

"No, LB. I'll take a taxi"

"Taxi" He asked? "You'll never get there in time. Look what time it is already," he pointed to clock on the wall.

"I'll take the chance!" she answered and picked up the phone, dialing a number.

"Busy?"

"They'll pick up eventually" she insisted.

"All right, good luck. Have a nice flight" he turned to the door, ready to leave.

"Wait!" Ashley called him suddenly. He turned back to her and smiled.

"Changed your mind?"

Half an hour later: Denver freeway

L.B. and Ashley were stuck in a long frustration traffic cork that was all over the freeway exit that led to the Denver International airport. Nervous drivers beeped, others left going out of their cars and watch the accident which caused this cork and others talked at their cell phones, waiting to go back home.

Ashley sat next to LB in his sport car, watching nervously the watch, hoping something will happened and she will get to the airport in time, to catch her flight to Newark airport…

The Carrington Mansion, the solarium

Amanda brought Cathy home from the pre-school that she and Adam had enrolled her in, still thinking about her mother. She couldn't understand why Alexis was involved with Zach Powers, but nothing her mother did surprised her. She was also frustrated that she couldn't track down Dex. Oh well, she thought. Maybe after lunch I will try his office.

Soon Cathy and Amanda were enjoying a spot of lunch and tea when Joseph burst into the room.

"Aunt Amanda, have you seen my daddy today."

"Why no I haven't maybe he went into the office after all."

Joseph frowned. "He promised to take me to the zoo today."

Amanda wondered Adam usually didn't break his promises to Joseph unless it was really important. Amanda got up and picked up the phone. She dialed the number to Adam's office at Denver Carrington, but they were unable to clue her into where he was.

Amanda noticed Fallon in the hallway. "You two stay here. I'll be right back."

Fallon pretended to ignore Amanda as she came towards her. "Fallon, do you know where Adam is?"

"I don't really give a damn where Adam slithers too."

"Why do you have to be such a bitch, Fallon? I'm worried about Adam, and all I wanted to know is if you knew were he was."

"Am I my brother's keeper?" Fallon said. "Look, I don't know where he is."

"Well do you know where Jeff is; maybe he knows where Adam is." At the mention of her husbands name made Fallon Jump. "Don't you concern yourself with my husband's whereabouts?" She stepped closer to Amanda. "I'm tired of finding you two together. Lauren told me how cozy you to be yesterday and I want it to stop."

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm tired of seeing you steal other women's husbands, first Dex, and now Jeff, when will it end." Fallon said in triumph, she was still upset by what Lauren had told her this morning.

"How dare you. I'm not interested in Jeff, and you should know your husband better." She said and turned back to the solarium. "Maybe I should find Jourad."

Fallon Called to her. "I meant what I said Amanda, stay the hell away form my husband!"

Kyle's apartment

"I don't get that" Kyle said into the phone. "What happened?" he asked his layer, Mr. Lord who called him from court.

"Just like that, wow! No, no, of course I'm glad, I'm just so surprised! Wait 'till Krystina will hear about that! Thank you very much, Mr. Lord. You don't know how much important it is to me. Thank you! bye." he then hung up the phone and a big smiled showed on his face. He didn't even dream it will happen, but it did. The prosecution didn't have enough evidenced against him and they dropped the charges against him.

"I have to tell Krys about that!" he was about to leave the apartment when the phone rang. "Kyle Roberts" he answered the phone.

"Well, well, you still alive" Caress voice heard from the other side of the line.

"What do you want, Caress?" his was not going to let her ruin his mood.

"I'm surprised Blake Carrington hasn't killed you yet, that's all"

"I do not have time to your game, Caress. And I really don't want to talk with you; I made it clear the last time we spoke"

"And I made it very clear I'm not going to give up on you so easily. I still have some very incriminator evidence against you, or have you forgotten?"

"You can do whatever you want with the evidence, Caress. I don't care anymore" he lied. He wasn't sure if she was telling the truth or not, but if she was it could be disastrous. The police gave up on him now because they didn't have any evidence against him and Kyle knew if they could find some kind of evidence the kind that Caress was talking about they would renew the case.

"I am not stupid, Kyle. I know the prosecution dropped the chargers against you" she surprised him. How the hell could she know about that? "And I'm sure they'll be very happy to know there is still very incriminator evidences against you…"

"You won't do anything like that, Caress. The evidence can convict you as well, and if they won't - I will!" he was angry. The hell with her I shouldn't picked up the phone…

"Listen to me Kyle, Mr. Woo might be dead, but there are still people in the consortium that will want to see you end up in prison. I promised you I'll help you if you'll work with me on this."

"Are you deaf or what, Caress? I'm not going to work with you or with the consortium anymore! I have a new life now; I'm done with this way of life! Don't call me again, don't come here and leave me alone!" he yelled and hung up the telephone. "I won't let you destroy this day, not you, not anybody!" he declared to himself and opened the door, ready to leave. But when he was about to close the door after him, two big and strong men showed up in front of him, stopping his way.

"Kyle Roberts?" One of them asked.

"Yes…" Kyle answered hesitating, but before he could say anything else they pushed him inside the apartment, closed the door after them and attacked him, hitting him like he was a boxing match…

The Ramada Inn and Suites

Adam had checked into a small suite earlier in the day. He had hoped that the story he had told Jourad would be enough to fool the family. He didn't want anyone involved in his plans; he couldn't risk Dana's life that way.

He had also told the police that he had a lead on Dana, in Oklahoma, and would inform them if he turned anything up.

The Bank had been the hardest task of the day, but in the end he had signed papers, and assured Mr. Williamson that the money would be paid back in triple.

Everything was set, and tomorrow was the day of reckoning, but being alone here was driving him crazy. "I have to get some rest if I'm going to be ready for tomorrow, and nothing can go wrong, or it may cost Dana her life."

The Carrington Mansion, Fallon and Jeff's room

Jeff had finally pulled himself away form his duties at Denver Carrington, and had returned home to pack. He had hoped to find Fallon, and asks her to join him in Rome, but Gerard had said she was out, and he didn't know when she would return.

Jeff had just finished packing his shaving case, when a slam of the bedroom door brought him form the bathroom. "Jeff, where are you?" Fallon called finding Jeff standing in the bathroom doorway. "I have wonderful news."

She stopped noticing the open suitcase on the bed. "What is it, darling?" Jeff asked.

"Why are you packing, are you going somewhere?"

"Yes, but that can wait, what is your news."

"What do you mean it can wait, you are packing to leave, and you say it can wait?" Fallon was becoming angry. Jeff had been keeping things form her for days now, and Fallon was beginning to have enough of it. "Were you going?"

"Dex came into the office today, He found Sable, and he wants me to go along to calm Monica down, and maybe get her to let us see Sable."

"And when were you planning on informing me of your little trip?" Fallon demanded.

"Well if you will calm down yourself, I'll tell you." Jeff new that Fallon was in a volatile mood, and he had to choose his words carefully.

"Don't tell me to calm down" Fallon said and started to leave.

Jeff stood up and grabs her. "I was looking for you when I came home; I was hoping you would join me."

"What do you mean?"

"Well I was hoping you would come with me to Rome, and after I helped Jeff. You and I could take a small vacation." Jeff smiled hoping that the Fallon would jump at the chance of some romantic days in Rome.

"Oh!" Fallon said and turned away.

"Is that all you can say?"

"I'm sorry Jeff, but I couldn't possibly go away right now."

Jeff furrowed his eyebrows. "Why?"

"Well that was the news I was going to tell you. I just drove home form La Mirage." Fallon smiled.

"La Mirage?" Jeff was beginning to get a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.

Fallon hesitated, and then began. "I was over seeing the remolding of my new offices."

"So it was you who Blake sold out to." Jeff couldn't believe that she hadn't discussed it with him first. "It's so like you to be impulsive."

"I knew you wouldn't be supportive." She said as she headed for the doorway. "You've always resented that I was an independent woman, well I'm not going to be Miss Susie house wife, I want my own career, and I was only truly happy when I was running La Mirage."

"And you never thought of asking me how I feel."

"Frankly Jeff, I don't really care what you feel." She placed her hands on her hips. "So take your little trip to Rome, and when you get back things are going to be different. I'm going to have my family, and my career."

"You go right a head; maybe I will find someone to fill your spot on this trip." Jeff said as he slammed his suitcase shut.

"Like my little sister?" Fallon said as she walked out the door.

"Maybe that's not such a bad idea." Jeff thought to himself. "Amanda could use time away form Denver to put her life back in order. Yes. I think I'll ask her to join Dex and I." He said, and before she could say something he pushed her from the doorway, and left the room.

Denver International Airport

"Excuse me, excuse me" Ashley ran into the terminal toward the check in station, while LB ran after her with her suitcase.

"Excuse me? I called earlier, Ashley Hamilton. The flight to Newark" Ashley said to the steward who sat at the airline check in station.

"I'm sorry, Miss Hamilton, we couldn't delay the flight only for you. If already left" the steward announced to the disappointed Ashley.

"Great! That's great!" Ashley got nervous. "When is the next flight to Newark airport?"

"In one hour. But it's full. I can check the waiting list for you though"

"No, thank you!" she said annoyed and sat down on the bench, frustration…

Later, on the Denver Freeway

"I told you already I missed the flight, it's not my fault, all right? Excuse me? No, I don't want next week, I want tomorrow! …. Okay, save me!" Ashley hung up the phone angrily.

"No room?" LB asked, holding the steering wheel.

"No, all the flights for the two next days are full. Damn! Why it's happening to me again, what will I tell my aunt now?"

"I'm sure she will understand, it is not your fault" he tried to cheer her up, and she looked at him with a sharp hard look in her eyes.

"What?" he wondered?

"You can try at least to hide your joy!" she knew he was happy that she missed her flight.

"What are you talking about?" he played dumb.

"Stop that, LB! Just take me home and leave me alone, okay?"

"You know you very pretty when you nervous" he said and she became nervous even more. "Okay, okay, sorry" he apologized. Maybe it's better to shut up he thought and didn't say another word.

"What's that?" Ashley called suddenly after they heard a noise from the outside.

"Damn! I think I hit something" LB said and stopped the car at the side road. He went outside and came back to the car after few seconds.

"What's the matter?"

"We have a puncture." he announced.

"Great! Just great!" she called. What more could possibly happen tonight?

Fifteen minutes later, Ashley found herself helping LB replacing the tire. She stood up behind him, giving him some light while he tried to put the spare tire onto its track.

"Come on, come on…" he called, all sweaty and dirty.

"It's not working?"

"Can you help me for a moment?"

"How?"

"Push it together with me, maybe it will work" he said. She put the lighter on the ground and joined him, trying to push the tire that didn't wanted to shift in. "A little bit more, yes!" LB called and they took all their strength until the tire slipped in and cause them to fall one on each other. Their eyes met, they looked at each other, hypnotized until their mouth met and they kissed…

Lindsay's suite at the Hilton

"You have nothing to worry about Caress! I know what I'm doing. It's all planned" Lindsay was getting impatient. Caress was so naive and stupid.

"No one will get hurt, at least not physically" She had no intention to disclose her plan. Caress had cracked down before she would again.

"Calm down, aright?! Adam came looking for you, but couldn't find you? - Perfect! Is there anything else about him or Dana? No! I'll see what I can do"

Lindsay listened for a moment. "You tried talking to Kyle but no luck…. Hmm. Well, I wouldn't worry; Kyle is being taken care of"

"How isn't important! Concentrate on your end; I will take care of everything else. Just keep your month shot or the consequences will be painful, is that clear?! Good day!" Lindsay slammed the phone down. That stupid woman! Why did her loving husband bring her! Damn!

A knock on the door was heard. Lindsay tied her silk robe underneath it she wore a sexy white bunny. Just the way he liked it, she smiled. He came, now she would put the rest of her plan into motion. She opened the door.

"Hello stranger, it's been too long. I knew you'd come!"

"You didn't give me much choice, did you?" A male voice said.

Colby Co Building - Caress's office

Alexis charged down the hallway to Caress's office. She was upset that Caress had the audacity to pull this. Without knocking she stormed in.

Caress sat at her desk. She raised her eyebrows and looked over the magazine she was reading as the door slammed open.

"What the hell are you thinking you doing here?" Alexis started.

"Well Alexis, normally I set up an appointment through my secretary if I like to see somebody. I can't remember that we have one." Caress replied, smiling self-confidently.

Alexis ignore her remark and continued. "I heard you don't approve of the Johnson deal?"

"Possible." She replied, shrugging her shoulders. "Help me, what was this deal about?"

"About exclusive shipping rights" Alexis replied annoyed. "We were trying for months to get it and you just broke up the negotiations."

"I had my reasons." She explained.

Alexis laughed out loud. "What for reasons? Causing me trouble?"

"What do you think of me? We're partners." Caress replied, pretending to be offended. "I just found this deal a bad idea."

Alexis angrily glanced at Caress. "Since when do you have any experience with this kind of things?

Caress felt abased. "You don't think I can do it, do you?"

Alexis looked at her disbelieving. "Caress, what the hell do you know about the oil business? Nothing that's what you know."

"Now don't forget that I got the majority of this company. I can do whatever I want." She reminded her sister.

"Damn it Caress, I don't want to play games. "You'll run ColbyCo into ruin with this kind of decisions. Do you want that to happen?" Alexis asked her reproachfully.

"Why should I? I have invested all my money into ColbyCo and I surely want this company to be successful."

"Then go shopping, relax at the Spa or do some charity work. But keep out of business decisions!" Alexis demanded.

They were interrupted by a buzz of the intercom. "Yes, Sarah?"

Her secretary's voice came across the intercom. "Dex Dexter is here to see you."

Caress felt worried about his visit. She looked nervously at Alexis. "What could he possibly he want?"

"Well, you tried to kill him. I could imagine that he is not very amused about it. " Alexis said, smiling at her in a very provoking way. "Caress, we're not done yet." She added before turning to leave the office. On her way out she met Dex in the doorway. "Hello Dex," she greeted him, offering a little smile. She felt herself get both nervous and excited..

"Alexis," he seemed nervous about their meeting too. "I'd like to speak with you later."

Alexis nodded. "I'm at my office."

"Okay, give me a moment with your sister." He said and entered the office.

Caress sat tensely behind her desk as Dex approached her. "What brings you here?" She asked, trying to remain brave. Dex's anger at her was apparent by the look on his face.

"I want answers from you, Caress!" He said without wasting any time. "What is the relationship you have with the Consortium?" Dex asked, his eyes intently studying Caress's reaction.

Caress tried to look him directly in the eyes, but couldn't. "You're mistaken. I have nothing to do with them." She tried to convince Dex. "And before you wrongly accuse me ... "She was cut off. "I want to know exactly who these people are that control the Consortium now after the death of Woo." Dex demanded to know.

Caress covered up. "I know nothing, I've never heard of this name before the newspapers reported about the shooting." She answered.

Dex tried to push harder. "The Consortium killed people, they held me hostage for ten years, they placed a bomb in my car, they tried to kill Blake, his family, Alexis, and the mother of my son. You better answer me. And if you're involved in this, if you had anything to do with this, I'll …"

Caress stopped him mid-sentence. "Why on earth would I want to hurt you? "I had nothing to do with it, you have to believe me." She defended herself.

"I've heard you knew about the bomb in my car. So, what is the extent of your involvement in this? I want to know the truth, were you helping them to destroy us?" Dex went on questioning his former sister-in-law.

"That's a lie. I knew nothing." She shouted back." How much time do I have to tell you?"

Dex looked at Caress with disgust and anger on his face. "I don't believe you."

Caress had had enough. "I have a lot to get done today, Dex. If you'll excuse me, I must be going."

"Not so fast, Caress." Dex hardly could contain his anger anymore.

Caress felt uneasy. His temper scared her. "I think its best that you leave now or I'm calling security." She said, reaching for the receiver.

Dex realized that he wouldn't get any answers today. "You haven't seen the last of me." He assured her, leaving the office and slamming the door behind him

The Carrington Mansion

Jeff Colby emerged form the shower feeling refreshed. He was leaving with in the hour for the airport, and then off to Rome to hopefully reunite Dex with Sable and his son.

Fallon was sitting at her dressing table, putting on her makeup when Jeff began to get dressed, they hadn't spoken a word to each other since their fight earlier today, but Jeff was feeling sorry, and he didn't know it, but Fallon was feeling the same.

Jeff looked over at his wife, and began to speak, as the same time Fallon spoke.

"I'm---" They both began to laugh.

"Honey, I'm sorry. I'm glad you are getting back into the working world." Jeff said.

"And I'm glad you are the kind of man, who will give up everything for his friends." Fallon said, smiling.

They kissed, and everything seemed fine until Jeff started to head for the door. "Oh Jeff, You never told me who was going with you?"

"Well, Dex of course, and." Jeff stopped, and Fallon looked at him.

"Oh Jeff, don' tell me - "

"I'm afraid so." Jeff said, and Fallon stood up.

"How could you go with her?"

"Amanda knows Rome pretty well. She used to live there and I'm sure she will be a great help to Dex"

"Help to Dex or to you?"

"Oh, come on Fallon. Don't start with that again. I thought we agreed about that"

"Agreed about what? Every time I turn around I find you sneaking around with her, Jeff!"

"Oh, please. It's not that we having a romance or something like that!"

"Gee, you could have fooled me!" she almost yelled. "I want you to go to her now and tell her you and Dex are going alone"

"Oh, give me a brake! Dex needs her, and I won't spoil his plan only because my wife is jealous!" "I can't do that, she wants to help Dex." Jeff stated.

"I'm not jealous; I just don't want you going off with her."

"Well I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can do about that now." Jeff said as he picked up his suitcase and turned to leave. "I'll see you in a few days."

"Maybe I'll be here, and maybe I won't be." Fallon said as Jeff shook his head and left. Fallon couldn't take it, and threw a bottle of perfume at the door. "Damn you Amanda, Damn you." And Fallon Carrington Colby began to cry.

The Carrington Mansion - Krystina's room

"Krystina, Dinner is ready" Krystle knocked on Krystina's door. "Honey?" she called again and then opened the door.

"I'm not hungry" Krystina, lying in her bed, staring at the ceiling.

"You have to eat something, dear. You are lying in here all day" Krystle took a seat and came closer to her daughter. "You know your father and I love you very much. It's just that we are very worried about you"

"Don't be, I'm fine" the girl replied.

"No, you are not fine. Ever since you met this guy you began changing"

"Mother, just leave me alone, okay?" the girl demanded and Blake, who crossed by and saw them from the outside, entered the room.

"Listen to your mother, Krystina, and join us to dinner please" he ordered.

"I don't want to talk with you" the girl insisted. Krystle and Blake looked at each other.

"Darling, go and join the others, we'll come in a moment" Blake asked his wife.

"Blake…" Krystle said and looked at him like saying don't be too hard on her.

"We'll be fine" he calmed her. Krystle stood up and left the room, closing the door after her. Blake looked at his daughter. She was still very angry at him after the fight they had last night.

"Sweetheart, you know how much I love you. I don't want to see you doing the mistake of your life. I know its difficult now, but believe your mother and me when we say it is better for you to not seeing this guy. He will use you and then dump you in the minute he'll gets what he want" Blake tried, but still looked on the ceiling, ignoring his Presence. "Krystina, Please talk with me" he tried again but she still didn't answer.

"All right, you don't want to talk with me its fine - but you are going to join the family for dinner. I'm going downstairs now. I want to see you there, right away" he said and with that left the room.

In the moment the door closed, Krystina stood up, grabbed her phone and dialed a number. No answer. She hung the telephone, slipped on her shoes and went out to the balcony. She looked outside. No one was there. She came back to the room, put some clothes in a small bag and went outside through the balcony.

Kyle's apartment

"Are you sure he's here?" Krystina asked the doorman who escorted her to Kyle's apartment.

"Yes, Miss. I was here all night long. I didn't see him leaving. He has to be here" he said when they stepped toward Kyle's apartment. Krystina knocked on the door. No answer.

"See?" she turned to the doorman. He pulled a bundle of keys from his pocket and tried to open the door. "I think the door is opened" Krystina said and try to open the door.

"Mr. Roberts? Are you here?" the doorman asked and Krystina joined him.

"Kyle?" she called and came inside.

"Oh my god, Kyle!"

she shouted suddenly. Kyle was lying unconscious in puddle of blood….

Jim's apartment

"That's it!" LB said when he put the last suitcase back in Jim's living room.

"Thank you, LB"

"The Pleasure was all mine" he smiled to her. "Jim is not back yet?"

"No, I guess he's still in the hospital. Emergency surgery or something like that"

"Oh… well, you'll be okay?"

"Yes, and one more time, thanks you for everything. I know I was pretty nervous earlier, I was so expecting to catch this flight"

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be. It's not your fault, you just tried to help me" for the first time she smiled to him.

"Yep…" he answered and looked at her. The kiss they shared together earlier meant something to both of them. "Well I should go now. I guess Jim will take you to the airport tomorrow"

"Yes. I'll fly to Newark any way; maybe they'll have a seat for me after all"

"All right then. Have a nice flight"

"Thank you" she said while he came closer to her.

"Goodbye, Ashley" he said and kissed her on the cheek.

"Goodbye" she answered and kissed him back on his cheek. They looked at each other for a long minute until the passion controlled them suddenly and they kissed passionately on the lips, until LB stopped himself from continuing.

"I better am going now" he said and she nods with her head. LB turned to the door, looked at her and was ready to leave the apartment when she called him suddenly.

"LB?"

"Yes?" he stopped and turned back to her, but she didn't answer. She just ran to him and kissed him one more time. LB kissed her back.

"I should really go, Ashley"

"Yes, you should" she answered but instead of letting him go she closed the door and kissed him again, and he answered back, holding her in his arms and they both fell down on the sofa, and began making love….

Downtown Denver the Christmas Square

Adam slowly made his way towards the abandoned nightclub, it had been years since he had been there and he noticed how time had destroyed the place. He checked the briefcase, and then tapped the gun that was hidden inside the Brest pocket of his jacket.

Adam slowly made his way inside the shattered glass doors that lead into the main dance room, and scanned the area, he noticed a single chair on the dance floor, and a figure tied up too it. "Dana." He yelled.

"Yes, Mr. Carrington." A familiar voice spoke, and then Mrs. Litton appeared out of the shadows. "Do you have the money?"

"Yes, it's all right here." Adam said indicating the briefcase he was holding.

"Open it." Mrs. Litton called.

Adam did as he was told, and showed her the money. Adam never took his eyes off of Dana, she looked terrified, and her eyes were trying to tell him something. "I've brought you the money; now let Dana go as you promised."

"I promised nothing Mr. Carrington." Mrs. Litton smiled as Adam began to realize that he had been set up, and that Mrs. Litton had no intention of letting either one escape alive, he began to go for his gun when Mrs. Litton turned her head. "Something is not right here."

When the words left her mouth she was sprayed with bullets form a semi automatic weapon, somewhere form behind Adam, and before she could retaliate, she was falling to the ground, and lay dying.

Adam looked towards Dana, and noticed that the chair she was on was flying backwards, and as he ran towards her, he felt a tremendous pain inside his head…

Lindsay's hotel suite

A pair of pans, a white-collar shirt, a black tie, a blue sport's jacket were scattered all over lying on the floor. In the bed two people naked in silk sheets were relaxing.

"I forgot how good we were together" the man stated with his arms under Lindsay's head.

Lindsay snuggled next him. "I haven't" She turned and kissed him passionately." You were my first, you know"

The man felt uncomfortable whatever he and Lindsay shared in the past it was passion and lust, no love. He pushed her away. She was up to something and it wouldn't be anything good. He knew her too well.

"So what do you want Lindsay?"

"Oh come on, let's enjoy the moment, it's been too long!" Lindsay smiled slyly.

Not long enough… he thought and watched her getting up to the food table and bringing the tray over. He recalled the last time he saw her. Back then she was a teenager a young woman, she has grown older more mature and sexier. He sat up and Lindsay sat next to him.

"I need your help"

"Help" He asked desperately. This can't be good. The Lindsay he knew was a screwed up little girl who always got what she wanted from him. He was young and stupid with his career only on his mind. The things she got him to do for her by seduction. She had enough on him to destroy his career, which was the real reason he was here. He realized she had turned into a very dangerous woman. He'd have to watch his step.

"All right, shoot!"

"I need you to help me destroying a mutual friend!" Lindsay smiled.

"A mutual friend?" he wondered.

"Yes, The man who destroyed my parent's marriage, cause my mother to kill herself and murdered my father!" she said while caressing him.

"I'm talking about Steven Carrington!" Lindsay smiled and began kissing Jim's naked body as we FADE OUT...
