Jim's apartment - The Next Morning "Hey Beautiful" LB said to Ashley when she opened her eyes and found him next to her, naked. "Hi" she replied shortly and he took his hand and moved the hair that had been over her eyes. Ashley felt uncomfortable. LB was wonderful, but he was Danny's cousin, and she betrayed him. "Last night was wonderful, Ash. I have waited for this to happen for so long…"
"I know" she replied, coldly. "I love you Ashley… I love you so much" he continued to touch her and sent his hand to her breast. "Please, LB. Don't" she stopped him and took his hand out of the blanket that covered her naked body. "What's the matter?" LB asked. He didn't understand. It felt so good to be with her, to make love with her. She was great in bed and he enjoyed every minute of last night. "We shouldn't do that" she said and sat down on the bad. "What?" he was confused now. "What are you talking about, Ash? We already did it. And it was great. You didn't enjoy it?" "We got carried away, LB. It shouldn't have happen. It was a mistake, okay?" she stood up and dressed with her nightgown. "A mistake? Ashley, Please, you don't know what you are saying. You enjoyed it every bit as much as I did. You loved every minute of it!" "That's not the issue here, okay?" "So what is the issue? I don't understand! I love you - you love me. What is the problem?" "Danny! I love Danny, he is my boyfriend, and he is your cousin. Can't you see how wrong this is?" "Danny won't know anything about that. There's no reason to tell him. He is there in Princeton; we are here in Denver, far away. Can't you see how perfect it can be? You and me, here together" "There's no you and me, LB. Nothing has changed. I still love Danny and I am going to move to Princeton with him!" "What?" "I'm sorry. I know you surprised, and I was wrong. I shouldn't let you think otherwise, but - " "Otherwise? My god! We just made love!" "No, we had sex, LB. That's what it was. Only sex"
"No. You just saying that because you feel bad for betraying Danny - but you do love me, Ash, and it wasn't just sex. We both know that!" he was angry. "I think you should go now, LB" she said when they both heard a door slamming. . "Ashley? Are you still here?" Jim called when he entered the flat and found Ashley's suitcases in the living room. "Yes, Jim! I'll come out in a second!" she called and turned to LB. "You have to go, he can't see you here" "I don't understand - " "There's nothing to understand, LB! I'm going to catch my flight to Israel today, and nothing will stop me this time!" she whispered him, opened slowly the bedroom door and peeped out. "He's in the bathroom. Quickly, go!" she collected his clothes. "I can't go out like that, look at me!" he was totally naked, but it didn't disturb her. "Go, now!" she took his hand and pushed him out. "Ash!" "Sh Sh, go!" she pushed him to the living room, naked. "Ashley!" "Bye, LB!" she opened the door, threw his clothes out to the hallway and slammed the door after him. In the minute the main door closed, the bathroom door opened and Jim showed up. "Hey, what are you doing here?" he asked Ashley and meanwhile LB tried to hide his privates when two ladies crossed by him, watching him, naked… While L.B. was busy putting his cloths on, Krystle was silently watching over Adam's lifeless body. She had been the study the previous evening with Blake, and Fallon when the police had brought Adam home, it seemed that he had some kind of accident, and the police had found him walking the streets babbling incoherently. When Blake and Gerald had finally carried him up to his room, he had passed out, and Krystle had felt it her duty as mistress of the mansion, to watch over his sleep. She also had begun to care more and more about Adam lately after witnessing his softer side. Krystle felt so sorry for Adam, to loose Kirby, and now Dana as well, if only he would wake up, and tell them what happened. A soft knock at the door was heard. Blake popped his head in the door and smiled at his wife. "Has he woken up yet?" Blake asked. Krystle shook her head no. "But he talked in his sleep; he kept calling out Dana's name, and saying that he had to get to her." "I wonder what he meant by that?" Blake wondered. "I don't know" Krystle said, but as the words slid out of her mouth Adam began to stir. "Dana, where is Dana?" Adam spoke; Krystle and Blake rushed to his bedside. "What is it son?" "I've got to find Dana." Adam repeated. Krystle pressed a cold compress on his head, as Adam began to regain consciousness. "Adam? The police found you last night wondering the streets, what happened?" Adam began to tell them the story of finding the fax, going to the club, and finding Mrs. Litton, and Dana. Those gunshots were fired, and that Mrs. Litton was surly dead, but when he woke up three men were carrying out Mrs. Litton's body, but Dana was gone, he tried to get up, but passed out again. The next thing he remembered was waking up. "You have to believe me Dad; Dana is out there somewhere alive." Fallon was standing at the door, and shook her head. "Well that was the best example for not drinking that I ever heard!" she said as she entered his bedchamber. "What a fantastic dream." "It was no dream!" he said and turned to Blake. "Father, you have to help me." Adam said as he started to get up, but Krystle protested. "You are staying in bed, Blake and the police will take control until you'll feel better." She ordered him. "We better go now and let you rest" she continued and left the room with Fallon and Blake. When they were in the hallway, Adam began to pray for Dana. "Dear god, please watch over her, until she is safe." Meanwhile outside in the hall Fallon was arguing with Blake. "Do you really believe him?" "I do" "Then you are as mad as he is!" Fallon stormed off. "I'm not going to listen to this crazy story anymore, if anyone needs me I'll be at the office." She then left and Blake made his way to the study there he found Krystle. "I just talked with Doctor Walters. He'll stop by to check Adam" "Good. I have to talk with the chief. If Adam's story is truth, we might have here new lead" he said Kelly, one of the houses many made entered the room. "Mrs. Carrington? I'm sorry to disturb you, but I think Miss Krystina is gone, I went to clean her room, and I found this note." She handed the note to Krystle who read it. "Oh no, Blake. Krystina's run away again." "And I have a good guess where she is." Kyle's apartment "Good morning" Krystina called when she entered Kyle's bedroom, holding a tray with breakfast. "Feeling better?" she sat down next to him after putting the tray on the near desk. "Hardly" he answered and tried to straight up, but it was too much for him and the pain knocked him down. "Ouch, ouch god that hurts!" "Oh, Kyle we have to take you to the hospital, look at you"
"No, Krys. No hospital" he insisted. Though she took care of him last night and together with the doorman covered his bruises with bandage he was still very hurt and suffered. "You are so stubborn. You may have a concussion or something like that. You have to be tested by a doctor" "No, Krys. I'll be fine, okay? Please!" he asked. "Those bastards… How could they do this to you?" "They were just the messengers…" "Oh, I'm sure about that!" she said and gave him the coffee. "I didn't tell you…" he began. "What?" "How it all happened. I was on my way out to see you when they got me. I wanted to tell you the prosecution dropped the charges against me" "Really?" "Yes. Mr. Lord called me and said they didn't have enough evidence" "Kyle, that's great!" "It could be great, if I wasn't in this situation now" "Oh, Kyle… I'm so sorry" "What for?" "For what my father has done to you" "Your father?" "Well, he sent those people to hurt you. He is the reason you are lying here, suffering" she caressed his face. "I'm not so sure about that" he whispered. "What?" "Nothing, forget that" he said and drink the coffee she gave him. He didn't know Blake Carrington so well, but he had the feeling it is not Blake Carrington's style. Someone else sent those thugs. And Kyle knew exactly who can it be. Jim's apartment - Few hours later "Ashley? Are you coming?" Jim called to his ex-step daughter. He put her suitcases by the doorway, took his car keys and opened the door. "Yep, let's go" Ashley showed up in the living room, holding a bag in her arms. "Are you sure?" Jim asked. She didn't tell him anything about LB and her, but he had the feeling something is going on. "What's that suppose to mean?" "Ashley. I know you too well, you can't fool me," he answered. "I am going to visit my family in Israel, Jim. I've waited for that too long" "Okay, it's your life" "Right!" she called sharply. "Let's go!" she added and when Jim was about to pick up the suitcases the elevator doors opened and LB showed up at the doorway. "Hey, you still here" he said to Ashley. "I'm just leaving" she answered, looking into his eyes. Jim looked at Ashley, and then to LB. Their look said it all. "Do we have few minutes?" LB asked Ashley. "You don't want to miss your flight again, Ashley" Jim said. "It won't take long" LB told her. "Jim? Can you please take the suitcases to the car? I'll join you in a moment" she asked her ex-step father. Jim looked at her, and then again at LB. "Don't be long" He finally said and left to the elevator with the suitcases, leaving the two of them together. "You can't go, Ashley. Not now" "I'm sorry, LB. I am going; you won't stop me this time" "How can you behave like that after what happened last night?!"
"Like I told you in the morning, it was a mistake" "The only mistake here will be if you'll leave, Ashley" "I have to go" she ignored and stepped forward to the door. "I love you, Ashley" LB called after her, hoping it would change something. Ashley turned back to him. "Goodbye, LB" she said, opened the door and went out to the elevator, leaving him standing in the living room, disappointed and hurt. The Stratford Hotel- Rome, Italy Dex, Amanda, and Jeff began checking in procedures in one of the most beautiful hotels in Rome, The desk clerk informed the three that their rooms would be ready shortly, and that Mr. Richards was waiting for them at the bar. The three walked through the lobby to the hotel's bar, and Dex spotted Peter, he made the introductions, and then the four sat down. "Take me to see Sable right away." Dex spoke. "I'm afraid that is not possible." "Why not?" "Mrs. Scott is not allowed any visitors. That's what her daughter decided" he said and Dex cut him off. "You mean Monica isn't even here?" Dex looked over at Amanda and Jeff who were both confused. "I think you had better start form the beginning." "she left Rome yesterday and gave specific instructions that Mrs. Scott was to have no visitors." "Where is my son?" Dex asked.
"He left with Monica, and since you told me not to approach them, I had to let them go." "How are you going to get Dex in to see Sable?" Jeff asked. "I have bribed a guard. It might taking day or two, but He will let Mr. Dexter in to see Sable" "Good." Dex said, as Peter rose. "I will go and make preparations, I will contact you tomorrow." Peter shook hands and left. "I wonder where Monica took my son." Dex said out loud. Amanda put her hands on his. "I'm sure he's fine, and after you see Sable, the three of us will track down Monica." Dex smiled. "I don't want the two of you wasting a trip to Rome, "Amanda, you know Rome pretty well. Why don't you take Jeff for a sight seeing?" "No, Jeff and I are here to help you, not to enjoy our selves." Amanda quickly spoke. "After this mess is settled if there is time, then maybe we'll see some sites." "She is right, Dex. We have to find Monica first. And your son" Jeff said and looked at Amanda, who nodded. The Carrington Mansion- The main hallway
It was late noon hour when Lindsay knocked on the Carrington Mansion main door, waiting for an answer. It was only her second visit to the mansion since she came back to Denver - but she felt like it was much more. Gerald welcomed her to the living room and went to call Krystle. She looked around her. Photos of the Carrington family member were hanging all over and she focused on two of them. Adam and Steven Carrington. They both were married to her mother; they both hurt her family so much and Lindsay wanted to see them pay for all they caused. That was the only reason she was there right now. To make them all pay. "Georgia! How nice to see you again" Krystle said when she entered to the room.
Lindsay turned back, hoping Krystle didn't notice how focused she was with the photos. "Hello, Krystle, it's a pleasure to be here again" she smiled back.
"Do you want something to drink before we start?" Krystle asked. "Thank you" Lindsay replied politely and few minutes later they were sitting together, drinking red wine and talking. Lindsay pulled out of her bag the two books she "wrote" about terror in the Middle East and gave it to Krystle. "Wow. I'm impressed. You wrote all that yourself?" Krystle couldn't hide her wonder. "More then three years, yes" Lindsay answered. "I hope it will help you to get know me better and see my way of work" "Well it is seems very interested" Krystle replied. "Is that your plan as well with the consortium?" "Kind of, in this case I want to investigate things a little bit different. Compare to the terror group in the Middle East, here we don't have a regular terror group. Those people want to control the oil business all over the world - but compare to other groups they have something against your family. Something very personal" "Well we know that, the question is what their reason is, that is what we still trying to find out" "And you didn't came up with names yet" "The only name we have is Mr. Woo, but Blake doesn't remember him from his past. It seems like there is somebody else that worked with Woo is the responsible for all that" Krystle said. "And you believe that this person knew your husband." "Of course" "Someone from the past?" "Certainly. We tried to come up with names, but somehow all the major tragedies and enemies we had in the past were all over. Most of the people who tried to hurt Blake - died" Krystle said. Lindsay wanted so much to expose her self in that moment, but she holds her self. It's not the time yet. She has to wait. "Such as?" she asked and Krystle told her about the two major tragedies in the family. One when a terrorism group broke into Amanda's weeding in Moldavia and hold them as prisoners and the other one after Adam's wedding, when Krystle ex-lover Mathew Blaisdel came back from the dead and kidnapped the family. "What happened to him?" Lindsay asked carefully. She didn't want to cause Krystle to suspect her. "He was killed. Blake's youngest son Steven killed him and saved his father life" "Was he married?" Lindsay continued. "Yes he was, to Claudia Blaisdel. But they got divorced. She was married also to Steven and Adam - Blake's older son, but she burned to death in a fire at La Mirage" Krystle said. "Poor woman" Lindsay responded and tried to hide the emotion-storm she was with. Her eyes looked again at the photos of Adam and Steven and she swear to herself they will pay. Denver Carrington - Blake's office
"What do you mean nothing?" Blake said into the phone. "I don't care! Arrest her, she knows everything!" he was angry. All this time and the police still didn't had a lead to the real person behind the consortium. "So continue to search! In her suite, in her office, in Kyle Roberts's apartment - everywhere! - And don't call me before you have news!" Blake hung up the phone angrily. He was certain Caress was working with the consortium, or at least knows who is the person behind this group was. "Damn!" he knocked hard on the table when his office door opened up and Krystina stormed in. "Krystina!" he called, Blake was shocked to see her, after her note, he believed that she had runaway to her lover. "How could you do that, Daddy?" she ran toward him. "What happened, honey?" he asked.
"Oh don't give me that! I know you are responsible for this and I'll never forgive you for that!" "Could you please sit first and tell me what happened?" Blake didn't understand. "Those thugs that you sent to hit Kyle - and don't you dare to deny it!" she was angry. "Was Kyle hurt?" the old man asked. "Hurt? He could die! That was your intention, right? To kill him!"
"Krystina - I have nothing to do with that. You know it's not my style" "So what is your style? To set him up and sent him to prison?" "He brought that on him self!" "No. The police released him. They don't have enough evidence - and you know why? Because he didn't do anything wrong! He is innocent!" "Honey, please think. Somebody sent those men to hurt him. Somebody he is involved with, somebody from the consortium!" "Oh god! Now you are trying to make it see like he is a part of them again" "Of course he is, honey - " he tried. "Don't call me that way! Don't call me at all!" she yelled and ran away from the office. "Krystina come back here! Krystina!" he tried but the young lady was already gone. Alexis's penthouse
Alexis stood alone at the terrace of her penthouse apartment, her arms wrapped around her. The night air was cool and made her shiver in her silk robe. With a blank gaze she looked out over the city, lost in thoughts. Her hope of reconciliation with Dex had broken into pieces. She felt lonely, and she couldn't help but blaming herself for it. She wished she could turn back the clock and change the things that had caused her division from Dex. She also wished she had told Dex about her true feelings and admitted her love to him when they had talked at the office yesterday. Now that he was gone it seemed too late for that. Alexis felt sad and disillusioned. She needed to see Dex, talk to him and show him that he was mistaken to believe he would find happiness and satisfaction without her. He could never feel for any other woman what he felt for her - anything else was out of her imagination. Alexis put her hands on the railing and leaned forward, looking up at the night sky. Where did Dex go? What was he doing? She gasped as she felt someone grab her by the waist. She reeled around. "Zach, you scared me!" She exclaimed. "I'm sorry, darling." He said laughing. "Isn't it a little cold to be standing outside like this?" Zach flirtatiously asked, running his hand along her back. "I'm fine." She assured him, thinking of an explanation to make him leave. "What a wonderful night." He said, leaning even closer and holding her tighter. "And you look absolutely beautiful." Alexis took his hands and removed them. "Zach, I'm really not in the mood and I'm tired." Zach sighed frustrated and shook his head. "Alexis, don't do that to me, I was looking forward spending this evening with you." "Please understand I'm not feeling overly well." She pleaded, hoping Zach would let up on her. But Zach did not intent to. He had already shown more than enough understanding for Alexis's hopeless affection for her ex-husband. How much longer was she going to act that indifferent and rejecting toward him? Her relationship with Dex Dexter was a thing of the past. Her relationship with him was the presents and the future, at least as far as he was concerned. "No, I don't understand it!" Zach said frustrated. "You were not in the mood yesterday already." He reminded her. "I was?" She asked, pretending not to remember. "Yes, you were." He said annoyed. "Maybe you want to talk about it?" He suggested with determination. "No, I don't want to talk about it." She said, stepping away from him. He stood and watched her. "I didn't ask you to come here tonight. Please leave me alone, Zach! I need some time to think." Alexis implored in a hurt voice. "I suppose about your ex-husband again?" He stated directly, trying hard to keep all his emotions in check. "No," she answered much too quickly. "Why would I be thinking about Dex?" She lied, looking away to hide from his gaze. "Well, you tell me!" He returned harshly. "When are you going to realize that it's over between you and Dexter? Forget about him!" Alexis didn't comment. She knew Zach was right. "I want to know what was going on between Dexter and you at the office yesterday!" He demanded. Alexis felt uncomfortable. How did he know about Dex's visit? "Do you have me shadowed?" She asked angrily. "Why should I? We two trust each other." He said in a sarcastic tone of voice. It upset him that Alexis was not only rejecting but also insincere toward him every time Dexter crossed her way. Alexis brushed his comment off with a laugh. "I don't think I own you any explanation." She said coolly and went inside. Zach followed her. When he reached her he forcefully grabbed her arm. She struggled to break free of his grip. "Zach, get your hands off me!" "I'm always there for you. I give you everything without even thinking about it. All I want is to be with you. Must you act this way to me?" Zach said with anger growing in his voice. "Stop it! You're hurting me." She shouted. "You are hurting ME." He shouted back. She noticed a strange expression on his face, which she had never seen before. It frightened her. "Is that how you want it?" He asked, letting go of her. She did not respond. She just looked at him saddened and frightened. "I think I need time to think about where to go from here." He said resigning. "I have to go abroad on business a day after tomorrow. I hope you'll have come back to your senses when I'll return from Acapulco." He said and left without another word or another look. Alexis stood alone in her cold, empty and quiet penthouse. She was sorry that she hurt Zach. She knew exactly how he felt right now. Why was it that love matter always had to be so complicate? Why did Zach have to love her, and why couldn't Dex love her like she loved him? Zach could never make her feel the same way Dex did. Dex was the only man for her. click hereto continue... |
