The Buu saga starts off about 7 years after the cell games. Gohan is a teenager, Trunks has become a super saiyan and Goten is born. There is a martial arts tournament coming up and Goku has been granted to live for one day and enter the tournament. Goten now has a chance to finally meet his father. The Tournament The tournament begins with Mr. Satans daughter Videl fighting somebody who has a majin M on his forehead. The fighter wasn't really too good in the past but he easily defeats Videl and basically wants to kill her. Gohan was the next fighter and was really mad after what happend to Videl. Gohan then fights the guy, and goes SSJ 2. Then, some guys with the Majin M on their foreheads begin using a machine to suck up all of Gohans energy. Then Gohan begins to get beat up. A kaioshin heals Gohan, then the z fighters begin to follow the group of people with M's on their forehead. It leads to a spaceship and the mage Babidi. Goku and Vegeta defeat two of the three guys, and Gohan has a struggle with the third, Dabura. Dabura leaves the battle since he has found out something important that he wants to tell Babidi. Dabura returns to Babidi and says that Vegeta has an evil heart, and that he can become Majin with the M on his forehead. Then, they said once Vegeta is Majin, they can defeat Buu. Babidi turns Vegeta into a Majin, and he and Goku go off to battle. Meanwhile, Babidi is trying to awaken Buu. Eventually he does, Goku goes over to see what has happend only to be knocked out by Vegeta. Gohan fights Buu and gets beaten pretty badly and is taken to the afterlife even though he want not dead yet. Soon, Piccolo Trunks and Goten arrive. Vegeta knocks out both Trunks and Goten easily, and tells Piccolo that he has something to do. Vegeta heads over to Buu and self-destructs in an attempt to kill him. However, Buu was able to reform. Since Buu is commanded by Babidi, he begins to destroy everything in his path. Eventually Goku awakens and goes SSJ 3 and heads over to Buu. He begins to fight him and both are even during the fight. Instead, Goku teleports to Kami's lookout. Buu turns on his master Babidi and kills him. Then, Mister Satan is asked to take out Buu like he was asked to take out Cell. But, of course he is very scared and intimidated and wants no part of Buu. Instead he tries to level with Buu by talking to him and asking him to not destroy earth. But, soon both Mr. Satan and his dog are killed. Buu heals them and gets so mad that he releases a skinny Buu. He easily defeats fat buu and absorbs him becoming Super Buu. Meanwhile, Goku knows that the only way they can defeat Buu is if Goten and Trunks fuse. They work at it for a while. Then Goku is taken back to after-life and heads over to Gohan who is being healed by a Kaioshin. Buu wants to fight Goten and Trunks, then he destroys everybody on earth with an attack. Eventually, Buu enters the room of spirit and time and fights a SSJ3 Gotenks. Both are evenly paired at first, but then Gotenks gets beatenn up pretty badly. Buu then absorbs everybody except Gotenks and Piccolo. Gohan eventually arrives and fights Buu. Gohan has the upper-hand and is beating Buu. Buu flies off and absorbs Gotenks and Piccolo to make him more powerful than Gohan. Meanwhile, in the after life, the kaioshin exchanges his life with goku so that Goku can live. He also gives Goku the Potarra earrings to fuse with someone. Goku leaves and heads Kami's lookout and heads to Gohan and tosses him the earring. Gohan misses and Goku dives for it. But it was too late, Gohan had been absorbed by Buu. Then Goku teleports to Vegeta, who was given life by the demon lord so that he can save earth. Goku and Vegeta fuse and become Vegetto. Vegetto heads off to fight Buu and easily beats him. However, they allow themselves to be absorbed by Buu so they can free everyone that was fused. They even free the original form of Buu who was absorbed. They all leave except the original Buu, however Buu changes into Kid Buu, the ultimate form. He is ruthless and blows up the earth. Goku teleports himself, Dende, Mr. Satan, and Vegeta to a Kaioshins planet. Buu follows and Goku fights him in SSJ 3. They are both equal but then Goku says he cant beat him unless he has full energy. Vegeta fights for Goku only to be beaten pretty badly. Goku had lost energy instead of gaining it and could not go SSJ. Mr. Satan then throws a stone at Buu, Buu goes to attack and releases fat Buu who tries to attack Kid Buu only to be beaten. Vegeta contacts namek and uses their dragon to wish for all the good people to be brought back to life. Then, Vegeta asks for the people on earth to raise their arms so that Goku can use their energy for his spirit bomb. They dont do it. Then Mr. Satan asks and they do it. Goku then creates a spirit bomb, Vegeta then wishes for Gokus energy to be fully restored. That enables Goku to finally finish off Buu. Few years later, there is another Tournament. Ubuu, the good reincarnation of Buu has entered the tournament. Goku realizes that he has great power and takes him off to start training him. All is good for now, and Dragonball Z has ended.
