| Who I Am... |
| In this cyber world I have many aliases, but my true name is Dan Pisut...No, that does dont mean you may call me Danny!! I was born on April 3, 1978 and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (I say this since I doubt anyone reading this will know where Chalfont, PA is located). I attended Central Bucks West High School, aka Hades (class of '96). I then moved to Wilmington, NC for college at UNCW where I received a B.S. in marine biology. I've always had a love for the ocean, and you can see my underwater photography gallery here. In Dec 2003, I finished my M.S. in biology at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My thesis research was on the chemosensory behavior of sea urchins. You can read more about my past research here if you're interested. After I finished with school, I became a science teacher at an Atlanta private school, teaching high school chemistry, biology, and environmental science. I did that for two semesters, then resigned to return to doing research. I'm currently looking for a position, and definitely considering moving out of Atlanta. |
