2. OLD BUSINESS. The meeting was called to order at 1506.

 

- The President read the Minutes.

 

- The next meeting will be held at 1500, 9 August 2000.

 

- Members in good standing will be the only members eligible to vote on items brought before "The House".

 

- The softball challenge (CPO vs. E6) which was to be held on 23 Jun 00 has been cancelled due to Chief results. The game will be rescheduled in October.

 

- Food Bank volunteers for 3 August are: ET1 Skym & 1 junior, YN1 High, AD1 Close, YN1 Depretto, YN1 Martin, YN1 Bennett, AD1 Fetsko & 2, AMS1 Owens, AK1 Charbono, AT1 Spafford, and IT1 Veasy.

 

- Motion made and seconded to buy cards and flowers for SSGT Womack, Cindy Norcross, and SSGT Hidalgo.

 

- Welcome to new members: SK1 Dockery, YN1 High from DET 3 Recruiting, YN1 Depretto DET 3 Recruiting, IT1 Veasy DET 3 Recruting, AMH1 Gorham NAS JRB AIMD, and AMS1 Keiper from NAS JRB AIMD.

 

- If you know of any member of the E6 Association who is in need of something, or who is out sick, please forward their name to the Executive Committee so that we may take action.

3. NEW BUSINESS. We have enough funds to have a Christmas party. ET1 Skym will make reservations at the Dessert Storm Club as a back-up location. We will vote on a caterer, dress code, door prizes and location.

- We will have another opportunity to volunteer at Six Flags. There is not a date yet.

- Executive Committee will meet at 1000 on the first Wednesday of the month at "The House". Executive Committee meetings are open to anyone who wants to bring new ideas to the Association.
