MEMORANDUM

From: Secretary, NAS JRB Ft. Worth E-6 Association

Subj: NAS JRB FT. WORTH E-6 ASSOCIATION GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING MINUTES

1. On 08 MAR 2001, the General Assembly of the NAS JRB Ft. Worth E-6 Association met at BLDG 1837 for the regular monthly meeting. A quorum being noted, the meeting was called to order at 1502 by Vice President Fetsko.

2. Treasurer’s Report: no report

3. Old Business

   a) The Adopt-A-Highway walk that had been rescheduled for 09 MAR has been postponed again due to the weather. When the date is picked, the membership will be informed. (AK1 Charbono)

   b) Personnel were again reminded to sign the book whenever they use the House for any reason. (AD1 Fetsko)

4. New Business

   a) A Thank You letter to the Association from the Tarrant Area Food Bank was read to the assembly by Vice President Fetsko. This was for the excess food from the Chapel’s Christmas Food Basket food drive that was donated to the food bank. (AD1 Fetsko)

   b) BLDG 1837, currently known as The House, is to be demolished sometime in the next 3 months. The Association will be taking possession of BLDG 3346, which is currently the home of the Young Marines. It is the double wide trailor near the marina. It will need some work, but will be an upgrade overall from our current building once we fix it up. It is estimated that we will move in sometime in the late May/early June timeframe. (AD1 Fetsko)

   c) Due to personnel leaving the House in a messy condition and many non-members being noted using the House without members present, the combination to the front door will be changed. The new combination will be made known to paid members. (AD1 Fetsko)

   d) This month’s excursion to the Tarrant Area Food Bank is scheduled for next Thursday, 15 MAR 01. Meet at the House at 0730. (AK1 Charbono)

   e) All members are encouraged to make their views known to the Executive Committee via the suggestion box or e-mail direct to the Executive Committee members. (AD1 Fetsko)

   f) AT1 Dee Johnson expressed her thanks for the plaque commemorating her retirement. (AT1 Johnson)

   g) Elections were held for the positions of Fire Warden, Secretary, and President.

      (1) AT1 Crawley withdrew his name from nomination for Fire Warden. SSGT Garcia won the vote over AE1 Murray.

      (2) YN1 Daniels withdrew her name from nomination for Secretary. AT1 Crawley was therefore uncontested.
