| ~Chapter 1~ "Man you guys, that was a great show!" Julie and Codi greeted the Backstreet Boys after one of their wonderful shows in Orlando. "Yes we know!" Smiled Kevin jokingly while whiping his face off with a white towel. "Now, let's not get a big head about it." Said Julie holding Brian's hand as everybody walked to our dressing room. "Not possible, his head can't get any bigger!" Joked Codi hopping on my back. "Not funny!" Huffed Kevin trying to make us all think he was hurt."Nick, do you know your girlfriend's a smartass?" "Nah really? I hadn't noticed." I said sarcasticlly holding Codis legs around me so she wouldn't fall off. "That's why they're so perfect for each other."Said Brian opening the dressing room door and walking on in. As soon as we got in, we started to change out of our concert clothes. "Uh.....I think me and Codi's ganna go get a pop out of the machines before we see something we probably shouldn't be seeing." Laughed Julie grabbing Codi's arm and running out of the room. "You didn't have to make us leave so soon!" Smiled Codi walking beside Julie down the hall. "You pervert!" Said Julie pushing Codi. "I'm not a pervert!" Declared Codi pushing Julie back,. But this was one fight that Codi wasn't ganna win, so they dropped it. They walked in silence for a few minutes until they reached the machines. Codi feed the machine 50 cents and pushed one of the square panals and within a second out came her drink. "You and you damn applejuice." Smiled Julie getting her usual DP. Instead of walking back so soon, they sat down on a bench by thye vending machines. "So, have you told Brian about out nomination?" Questioned Codi taking a drink. They're a singing group, sighned with Jive records and they're up for 'Favorite New Group'on the Kid's Choice Awards. "No not yet. I'm ganna tell him tonight. So, what about you? You told Nick yet?" Replied Julie opening her pop. "I'm ganna tell him tonight too., as soon as we all get to ya'll house." We were all planning on staying the night at Julie and Brian's house that night, ya know, just for fun. "Why don't we just make it a big anouncement, ya know, tell everybody at once." "Ok. This is so, so cool! We actually have something inportant to tell them for once." Grinned Codi. "Inportant stuff should be told, especially when it concerns........" Started Julie but she stopped herself. "What are you talkin' about?" Asked codi looking at Julie. "Nothin'" Said Julie knowing that Codi wasn't ganna stop until Julie told her. But she promised she wouldn't tell her. "Damn it Julie TELL ME!" Begged Codi. "I would,......but, I can't." "Please Julie." Julie thought for a minute. codi should know. 'Sorry, but I have to br this promise.' "Ok, well you know how here lately there's been more security on you then ever?" She started. Codi looked around, up ahead of them a little ways was two bodyguards, and to the right of them was another. She hadn't noticed them earlier. Julie continued,"Um.....ya see,for the last 2 months, uh...Nick's been getting these letters and calls. Threatening calls." Julie looked down. "Oh gawd, ya mean somebody's threatening Nick?!? Oh poor Nick." Said Codi ."Now wonders he's been so jumpy and can't sleep at night." "Codi--" "He coulda, he shoulda told me." "Codi--" "I-I coulda done something,to comfert him--" "Codi!!" "What?!?" "They're not threatening Nick, they're threatening you." Said Julie looking at her friend who just went pale. They sat there in silence for a few minutes. Then as if planned, both got up at the same time and started walking back towards the dressing room. This time, Codi noticed the following bodyguards. |
