| Chapter one - 'star struck by BSB' "Ok, but before you sign, I thought there was three of you?" Questioned stan turning the papers around to face the girls. "Oh there was but Mo decided to take her scholarship to OU instead." Replied Julie popping her ankle. "If she only knew this was ganna happen." Smiled Codi. "Ok, well here we go ladies." Stan smiled handing Julie the pen then passed it to Codi as both Julie and Codi's friends and family looked on as the two girls signed the dotted line. "And now ladies andGentlemen, Star Struck is officially on Jive Records!" "Clapping and hollaring along with congratulations filled the air in the living room of Julie's house. Then everybody went outside to were it seemed like hundreds of blinking colored lights dotted the country yard. Music blared. It was a party. It was the last night for 7 months that they'd get to see everybody. "So who do you think we'll tour with?" Asked COdi setting down on her tail-gate. "I don't know but I hope it's not with N'sync or Britney Spears. I don't think I could put up with school girl skirts and red leather suits for 7 months." Laughed Julie; but she was serious. Julie was the gorgeous green eyed one. They decided they better take some more pictures of or with their friends. ~The Next Morning~ A limo was gana be sent to pick up Julie then swing by and get Codi. They are ganna take the limo to OKC and meet the band they were touring with. Julie packed all of her stuff into her bags and waited for the limo. She said her goodbye to her parents as the sleak black limo pulled up to her driveway. She grabbed her laptop and ran out the door with luggage in hand. The driver got out and introduced himself as he popped the trunk and loaded the bags up. "My name's Henry." The mid 50 year old man introduced himself. "I'm Julie." Julie got into the big backseat. "wow." she said in amazment at all the buttons and gizmos. "Codi's ganna flip." ~5 minutes later~ Codi sat on the bench on her porch humming softly to herself. She couldn't believe it. they had got a record deal and was ganna meet up with a famous band in about 2 1/2 hours. She still had no clue who the band was. At the same time "So who'd ya say was our opening act?" Asked Brian, taking a break from a song he was writing. "uh...um...I think their name is Star Struck." Kevin said covering the speaker part of his cell phone he was on. They were on a plane from Orlando to OKC. "Besides their from Oklahoma. How hot could they be. They probably got buck teath and braids and..." Nick started looking out the window. "There's nothing wrong with being from the south!" Defended Brian. "Beside Nick they're girls." A.J. reminded him. "A.J. you'd srew anything with a pulse." Smirked Nick "Nick I wouldn't start it if I was you." Threatened A.J. Nick just smiled brightly. "Whoa, whoa." Howie said in awh recieving a fax. "What's a matter Howie, did you get a hold of one of Nick's 'magazines' that he keeps in the bottom of his suitcase?" Brian asked. "I...I don't have pron mags... um if I did, uh which I don't, how do you or would you know where i'd keep 'um?" Nick questioned as sweat beeds built up on his brow. "No, I just got a fax. It's a picture of the 2 girls, Star Struck. A.J. check it out." Howie said handing it to A.J. who just set back in his seat and let out a long breath. "7 months huh?!" Smiled A.J. propping his hands on the top of his now bright red hair. "Let me see!" Demanded Brian scurring up to his seat. "Nope. It's mine and Bone's secret." Howie smiled folding the paper. "You'll have to find out in 2 1/2 hours." ~Healdton, Oklahoma~ Codi pulled on one of her 2 braids. Then she saw, or should I say heard it. "Yo Codi. You ready? Ready for what you may ask, the time of your life, that's what!" Hollered Julie, standing up through the sun roof. Julie wasn't exactly really really wild but more wild then Codi. Codi was a shy blue-green eyed brunette. Codi grabbed her bags, kissed her family goodbye and threw the bags in the trunk. When Codi started to get into the limo she noticed all her neighbors were standing in their yards. Looking and wondering why there would be a limo across he street. "Ya'll just wait! We're ganna be Famous!" Codi shouted. "Dude check it out. There's even a TV." Julie said showing Codi all the gizmos. "How do you turn it on?" Questions Codi pushing her bangs out of her eyes. "Hell I have no clue...but I bet I can find the on button." Julie smiled she was good with modern technicle computer stuff, unlike Codi. ~2 1/2 hours later~ "Codi. Codi wake up." Julie shook Codi who was curled up in a ball and had been asleep for an hour. "What...huh, yeah, yeah i'm up. Where are we?" Yawned Codi, streching her arms. "The airport. Now get your lazy ass up, we've gatta go inside and wit for... Well I don't know who, but stan faxed then a picture of us. So I guess they'll find us." Julie said pulling Codi up. "Yeah, ok. Who had a picture taken?" Codi said as nothing Julie said registered with her; but she followed her leader. They were supposed to meet the mystery band inside them go back outside to the limo and put their stuff on the bus, which was supposed to find the car. The band would meet them in one of the restaraunts in the airport. "Wow." "I, I thought airports were supposed to be crowded!?" Julie said in a questioning way. There was about 100 people, if that many. "Well maybe because it's 10:30 on a sunday night." quessed Codi. "Well, let's get something to drink." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The landing tires on the plane screeched onto the pavement runway as flight 13247 finally showed up in Oklahoma. "Look we're in Oklahoma, Oo-kla-homa where the wind comes sweepin' down the plains and the waving wheat can sure smell sweet when the wind comes right behind the rain..." sang Brian bording off the plain and started walking toward the airport which was a few hundred feet away. "We know we belong to the land, and the land we belong to is grand..." Chirped Nick. Now the both of them entered the lobby singing the state song. Howie and A.J. were just now getting off the plane and Kevin was trying to find his whatch that Nick hid on the plane. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Julie stood with her back propped up against the red ounter facng the people as Codi dug in her jeans pocket for the money to pay for the drinks. "Howie, ain't that one of the girls?" Questions A.J. looking toward Julie. Nick and Brian would've been there first but Nick had to make a pit stop, that's what too many mountain dew's will do to ya. "Yeah, I think it is." Howie replied, looking at the picture then back at Julie. By now the others were there. Julie straightened up a little as 5 guys with hats and sunglasses started coming her way. "The one looking over here is cute. But see what'd I tell you? One with braids. Whatch her turn around here and have buck teeth." Smirked Nick making his point. "Ssh. Shut up Nick!" Brian elbowed him as they approached Julie. "Hi..uh...is your name Julie?" Kevin asked. "uh, yeah it is." Julie retorted. Codi didn't even notice Julie was talking to someone. "Oh, ok good. Well hi. I'm Howie and we're the Backstreet Boys." Howie whispered in a hushed tone. "I do believe you'll be touring with us." "Yeah, Stan said the band we're touring with would find us." Julie elbowed Codi at 'us'. "What the hell...why'd you..." Codi turned around to see why Julie hit her. "Oh, uh, hi." "Ok Nick, now extract foot from mouth." Whispered Brian at what Nick said before. "Codi, this is the Backstreet Boys. We'll be touring with htem." Julie informed Codi, but as soon as Codi turned around she knew the band. Codi's a fan. "I'm Kevin. That's A.J., Nick, Brian, and Howie." Smiled Kevin shaking the girls hands. "I'm Julie and this is Codi." Brian smiled to himself. 'It's ganna be a fun tour.' |
