This page is devoted to play list structure.
Any MIDI file has its name. Note, that to reach compatibility with old Windows versions, first version of the program used names in 8.3 standard. As short name is not comfortable, Music Box uses more long melody names. Let's call these two names file name and melody name. (In new version 8.3 file name standard is not obligatory.)
Example
Remarkable Walk Don't Run track (this is melody name) is stored in demo
version in wdr.mid file (this is file name).
Play list consists from pairs of lines with melody and file names. They can be separated by empty lines, but it is optional separation.
Example
Walk Don't Run
wdr.mid
Apache
apache.mid
Hawaii Five-O
hawo.mid
Such simple structure allows to edit fulllist.txt and mylist.txt in any text processor, even in the Notepad.
Example
Insert one more track into written above file:
Walk Don't Run
wdr.mid
Apache
apache.mid
Telstar
telstar.mid
Hawaii Five-O
hawo.mid
For more realistic example you can see a special page.
You see that it's not difficult. To help you a little I have prepared fulllist.txt for Don Walker's collection (64 files). You can download it now to save your time.
