New Orleans? It's great! I can't imagine going to school anywhere else. Of all the colleges I've been to and/or stayed at, none compared to Tulane. You should definitely check it out, but be forewarned, its academics are no walk in the park. Still, it's worth it for how much fun you'll have! There's so much to do and see in N.O. I got to see the house where Tom Cruise (and others, but Tommy's the best!!!) filmed "Interview With a Vampire" and Ann Rice's (famous novelist whose stories take place in New Orleans) properties in the Garden District. The Tulane campus, as well as the rest of N.O., is where Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts filmed "Pelican Brief," and many other films and TV shows have taken place here as well, "The Big Easy," "The Client," and "Orleans," just to mention a few. You can also visit the famous French Quarter, have a few Daiquiries, and go dancing in one of the clubs on (or off) Bourbon Street. And of course, you must take a ride on a streetcar and see the beautiful mansions that line St. Charles Avenue in the Garden District and Uptown. I just can't find the words to do it justice. New Orleans is someplace everybody should visit at least once. I just love it!
