Always make sure you can destroy the other player. If he has a tank that has 14      armour you have better have a gun that has a strength of at least 9.

Deploy as close to the other guy as you can, Space Marines have good BS but       there guns range isn't the farhtest on a big board so you'll want to be close. Another reason to deploy close is the 3+ armour save, it's hard to kill.

Make sure you have a lot of missle launchers and plasma cannons because they arethe best way to kill a tank.

Land Speeders should always travel in squads of 3. One of the 3 should be         heavily armed and the others should not. When the squad is shot at kill the less powerful ones first if you can.

If you use converted tanks that cost a ton make sure you only use it in big battles or else you'll be short on guys
