[AB]
Welcome back fans. As you can see the steel cage has been assembled and
we're ready for our main event. A match that will now determine the very
first EWC North American Tag Team Champions.

[GZ]
Thanks to the horrific ending to our last match, that is. Why Riker didn't
just eject the Waverunners and then order the match to continue is beyond
me. I think the only fair thing to do is order a triangle match for
Hardcore Homecoming between the Waverunners, Children of Apocalypse and
Power Supply--that way the four guys can work together to end Greg and
Mark's careers.

[AB]
Whoa, that is a whole lot of pent up hostility Greg. Just because your
choice to win the entire event was eliminated that's no reason to go off on
such a tirade.

[GZ]
If Frozen Hell had interfered in a match and cost the Runners and Beyond
Our Control a spot in the finals you'd be crying about injustice and
disgraces to the sport. Just because one of your favorites did it is no
reason to completely reverse your opinion.

[AB]
I think we better just drop the whole topic and accept the new situation.
So after two weeks of matches we've come down to one more go around between
Murder Inc. and Beyond Our Control. What's your take?

[GZ]
As much as I'd love to say that Murder Inc. is a shoe-in to win, which I'd
love to because of their superior values and all, it depends. If Murder
Inc. can force BOC into actually wrestling, forcing the cage into the
background, they've got to be the favorites.

[AB]
What about their la-

[GZ]
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not that whole "BOC won the pure science match" thing
again. That was one time and it caught Murder Inc. off-guard. If they try
it again Haynes and Spinelli will be more than ready for it. BUT, if this
ends up being another match where no rules are followed at all, we'll
unfortunately have to sit through a ridiculous celebration by Shrapnel and
company.

[AB]
With that said let's send it up to the ring for our main event.

["Murder Inc." came onto the loud speakers as gold lights struck the
runway. The fans, partially because they were still irritated by the last
match, and partially because of who was coming towards the ring were
providing incredible heat. Terry "Hit Man" Haynes, and Frank "The
Assassin" Spinelli made their way down the entrance ramp shooting daggers
at anyone who looked at them the wrong way. They then climbed up the ring
steps, into the ring, and began checking out the cage.]

[GZ]
Experience, skill, and discipline. That's what these two are all about.
And, given that they requested this match, you have to wonder if they've
got something special planned for tonight.

[AB]
That's a good point Greg. I hadn't thought about that. Ray Chapman is
checking them over right now-it doesn't look like they're carrying any
weapons.

[GZ]
First of all, if they were trying to sneak weapons into the ring, they'd
hide them so the referee couldn't discover them. Second, I never said they
were going to throw salt or use brass knuckles, Murder Inc. is the type to
outsmart you, make you hurt yourself.

[AB]
Well, if there's any team in the EWC who tend to be ready for just about
anything it's certainly the next two gentlemen.

[the loud portion of "Minstrel in the Gallery" starts to play as the voice
over comes on explaining, "the EWC cannot be held responsible for the
following actions, these men are..." and the fans all chant BEYOND OUR
CONTROL before erupting into a mammoth cheer. Lead by Kevin Schrapnel,
Gerry "Loose" Cannon has a disturbing grin on his face and keeps bursting
into cackles, while "Insane" Jules Baen keeps looking over the crowd in a
paranoid fashion.]

[GZ]
And people think Chris Monroe is a lunatic, these two are the king and
queen of insanity. I feel bad for Murder Inc., I wouldn't want to be
locked inside a cage with these nuts.

[AB]
You always have to wonder how much of it is just an act to get inside the
heads of their opponents. They are both very bright men, I think they've
just got a screw or two loose.

[GZ]
I'm thinking that the cage might actually hurt Beyond Our Control. Once
that door is locked shut they won't be able to leave the ring, can't fly
over the ropes, and won't have access to steel chairs or objects from the
fans. They're going to be forced stay inside the squared circle.

[AB]
Don't you think they knew all of that when they accepted? They're ready
for this. It's for gold--all four men will be at the top of their games.
Baen and Cannon are heading up the stairs and we're about to get started.

[GZ]
Murder Inc. isn't waiting for the bell to sound they're bum-rushing Beyond
Our Control!!!

DING, DING, DING...

[AB]
Terry Haynes raining down with closed fists on the back of Jules Baen's
head while his partner, Frank Spinelli driving elbows into the side of
Gerry Cannon's jaw. Now Baen getting caught with knees to the skull and
Cannon getting kicked repeatedly in the midsection.

[GZ]
We've talked about it a lot as of late, but since the passing of the late
great Dominic Altobelli Murder Inc. has really looked more focused and
dangerous. Shrapnel's boys walked right into a mugging.

[AB]
Spinelli has Cannon backed into the corner and it's one european uppercut
after another--just look at the "Loose" Cannon's head snap back into the
top turnbuckle. Baen tries for a lunging punch but all he gets is a swift
kick to the head for his trouble and now a lunging clothesline by Haynes.

[GZ]
Things very basic here. I wouldn't expect to see any attempts to escape in
the early portions of the match. Murder Inc. is way too crafty and BOC way
too willing to put their bodies on the line in suicidal ways--we won't have
problems with people rushing to get out before it's a wise move.

[AB]
Cannon's throat crushed by a clothesline. "The Assassin" is calling over
to Haynes and trying to set something up. Haynes picks Cannon up off the
mat, stuns him with a head butt and brings him to the ropes.

[GZ]
So far, Murder Inc. looks to be focused on keeping Beyond Our Control from
functioning as a unit. I'd have to commend that since in one on ones,
there's no question the advantage lies with Murder Inc. However, I would
expect to see a few double team moves.

[AB]
They look to be setting something up now. Murder Inc. nodding in approval
as both of BOC are pushed back against the ropes. Haynes and Spinelli whip
both members of BOC to the ropes and then they follow in after them...I
CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! Baen and Cannon RUN UP THE ROPES, SCALE PART OF THE
CAGE, and SPRING OFF WITH MIRROR BACK ELBOWS ONTO MURDER INC.!!!

(B-O-C!!! B-O-C!!!)

[GZ]
And Shrapnel applauding his men from the outside. I for one am glad that
he won't be able to stick his nose in this match. All for men are
down--this is one of those pivotal portions of a match where momentum is up
for grabs.

[AB]
Cannon and Haynes are stirring first. Each sees the other beginning to
rise and they both lunge--DOUBLE FLYING FOREARMS!!! Both men drop straight
back down but Baen is now on his feet ahead of Spinelli so he runs over and
drop kicks him in the face.

[GZ]
It will be interesting to see how Beyond Our Control attempts to control
the next few minutes of the match. Sure they can wow the fans with high
spot after high spot but at some point that's going to catch up with them,
therefore they need to hit high impact moves that don't hurt them as well.

[AB]
"Insane" Jules Baen must be listening to you Greg, he grabs Spinelli and
stun guns him onto the top turnbuckle. Now, with Spinelli just slumped in
the corner, Baen steps back, charges and flattens him-driving that face
back into the post.

[GZ]
That's exactly the type of offense I was talking about. I have my doubts
if he'll be able to keep that up for any substantial period of time.

[AB]
Haynes and Cannon have both used the ropes to pull themselves to their
feet. Haynes goes for another clothesline but Cannon catches the arm and
uses the momentum to fall right into a single-arm DDT. Cannon sees that
Baen is controlling Spinelli with stiff kicks in the corner so he stays on
Haynes.

[GZ]
Murder Inc. strayed from their initial strategy and it's cost them. And if
they allow things to get too insane this match may be over in a hurry.

[AB]
Spinelli has been placed on the top rope as Baen follows up after him. Two
quick shots to the head for good measure and he leaps--TOP ROPE
HURRICARANA!!! Cannon just hit a bell ringer on Haynes but now he's
picking him up again, this time for a powerbomb--WAIT A SECOND!!! As
Cannon flips Haynes into the air he grabbed the steel mesh and shifts his
weight mid-air--MODIFIED PILEDRIVER!!!

(the crowd is LOUD)

[GZ]
Incredible countermove by the true "Hit Man" showing how that wealth of
experience is paying off, Cannon never knew what was coming.

[AB]
Baen has Spinelli up for a belly to back suplex but Haynes with a rolling
knee clip that allows Spinelli to bulldog Baen to the mat.

[GZ]
There's that experience again. I'd look for Murder Inc. to stay on top of
one member of Beyond Our Control now, cut him off from his partner, and
then try to occupy the other while one of Murder Inc. leaves untouched.

[AB]
Murder Inc. over to Cannon and they drop a double elbow on him and now it's
wishbone time! Now Cannon finds himself being pinned against the ropes.
OH MAN THEY'VE TRAPPED HIM IN THE ROPES!!! Cannon struggling but his arms
are caught.

[GZ]
What a smart thing to do. Even if the ref can free Cannon in short order,
it still gives Murder Inc. time to work over Baen. And if he can't get
out, then we're about to have new North American tag champs.

[AB]
Murder Inc. brushes Ray Chapman aside and just pummel Cannon as Shrapnel
screams from the floor to get him out. And they've busted him open! Now
it's back to Baen, he's dropped in between the ropes and the cage--what are
they doing? OOOOH!!! They're rocking him with rights and lefts while
shaking the ropes so that Baen's being bounced back and forth.

(the fans groan at the site of this, especially once Baen joins his comrade
in juicing)

[GZ]
Ingenuity and brutality all in one. Gotta love these two. It's right
about now that I'd expect to see our first attempted escape.

[AB]
Chapman finally able to free Cannon from the ropes but Haynes is right on
top of him, knee to the head and now a leaping piledriver!

[GZ]
That'll keep him down for a while. Look at the blood streaks on the canvas.

[AB]
In the meanwhile, Spinelli has brought Baen back into the ring, Haynes
joins him and they lift him up like he's a battering ram.

[GZ]
This may be the coup de grace.

[AB]
Murder Inc. charges towards the cage, this should do it. NOOOO!!! Baen
slides down the back and HE SHOVES MURDER INC. FACE FIRST INTO THE CAGE!!!
Now he spins them around DESPERATION DOUBLE DDT!!!

(Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss!!!)

[GZ]
I cannot believe that. These two freaks NEVER quit, I'll give them that.
Still, pulling one rabbit out of a hat is nice, but will they actually be
able to sustain anything? Look at them, they're both masked in blood.

[AB]
All four men are down and Chapman is just standing there. Cannon is
beginning to stir but it's Haynes who's up first and he's crawling towards
the door. He's yelling to Winans, the outside referee to get the door open.

[GZ]
Wise move by Haynes. Even if he's moving slowly, there's a shot that Baen
and Cannon won't be able to stop him right now.

[AB]
Still, Haynes is really moving like a tortoise in there. Spinelli is just
beginning to move while Baen is pulling himself up in the corner. Winans
has just unlatched the door, Haynes is about a yard away and inching closer
with each second. Cannon is up and he sees it. BASEBALL SLIDE TO THE
GROIN and HAYNES GOES HEAD FIRST INTO THE CAGE DOOR!!!

[GZ]
Dumb move--if Haynes is smart he'll just fall out the cage and win the belts!

[AB]
Not a chance!!! Baen is over and he grabs the door and just rams it back
into Haynes's head and now three of the four competitors are busted open!
Nice save by Baen.

[GZ]
You can see that BOC are fighting somewhat on instinct. Sure Cannon made a
nice move, but it almost ended up costing his team the final match. I
guess that's what blood loss will do to you. Case in point, have either of
them noticed where Spinelli is right now?

[AB]
Oh man, Spinelli is climbing up the middle of the cage and BOC has just
noticed but it may be too late. They're pointing at Spinelli, what are
they planning? Baen drops to all fours, Cannon runs, springs off his back,
onto the ropes and ONTO SPINELLI'S BACK!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SEQUENCE!!!

(as the fans explode, we cut a a quick split-screen to take a second look)

[GZ]
These two just love the dramatic don't they?

[AB]
Cannon is hanging on Spinelli's back and he's head butting away. Spinelli
losing his grip and Cannon RIDES HIM DOWN THE CAGE!!!

[GZ]
Oooh, that's unnecessary--Spinelli's head just went down the cage like a
cheese-grater. It's officially a total blood-fest in there.

[AB]
Baen has Haynes and he plants him with a slingshot belly to back suplex.
Now he goes to the apron and slingshots over the top rope for a leg drop.
Beyond Our Control is firmly in command right now.

[GZ]
If I were Shrapnel, I'd wipe that stupid grin off my face, and tell my boys
to stop showboating and just get out of the cage already. The longer they
stay in the cage, the bigger of a chance they're letting slip away.

[AB]
Cannon must have been listening to you because he's gone to the corner and
started his ascent. He's now standing on the top turnbuckle trying to get
a good grip before making that all-important climb.

[GZ]
Once again, with all four men a mess, I have to wonder just how much this
is taking out of each man. At times I really question why they think it's
worth putting themselves through all of the pain.

[AB]
Cannon has started climbing but Spinelli, who has been slumped over in the
corner sees what's happening, lunges and is able to low-blow Cannon with
his fist. Now Spinelli climbs up to the second turnbuckle, grabs Cannon,
SUPERBOMB!!!

(the crowd collectively moans)

[GZ]
You could feel the impact sitting at ringside. What did I tell you? They
took too long and now Murder Inc. is getting back into the match.

[AB]
Spinelli going to help his partner who was failing to block a series of
stiff strikes to the face, but Baen sees him coming and is able to cut him
off with a spinning heel kick.

[GZ]
I bet right about now all these guys wished they could end this match with
a pinfall.

[AB]
Baen comes running off the ropes and goes for a flying drop kick but
Spinelli catches his legs!!! Spinelli adjusts and BAEN SLINGSHOTTED INTO
THE CAGE!!! As he bounces off Haynes catches him with a neckbreaker!!!
Excellent double team!!!

(the fans are up and screaming)

[GZ]
These two teams laying it all on the line tonight. I may want Murder Inc.
to win the titles, but no matter which team wins they have my respect for
the night.

[AB]
Agreed Greg. Spinelli just went for the door but Cannon caught him from
behind with a leaping knee and followed that up with a reverse snap suplex.
He thinks about going for the door but he sees Haynes climbing up the cage
across from him.

[GZ]
For some reason I can just tell whatever is about to happen isn't going to
be pretty.

[AB]
Cannon climbs up after Haynes who responds by trying to kick Cannon off the
turnbuckle. He fails and finds himself dragged down to the top turnbuckle
as well. Cannon grabs him around the head--YOU'RE KIDDING ME!!! TORNADO
DDT INTO THE CAGE!!!

(CANNON CANNON CANNON!!!)

[GZ]
At what price though? Cannon crotched himself over the top rope on his way
down and again it looks like a train wreck in there.

[AB]
On the far side of the ring Baen and Spinelli are pulling themselves back
up and each one, going on pure instinct, is trying to scale the cage and
escape. Each man keeps going, but only about midway up do they even notice
one another.

[GZ]
At this point they just want to get out and end this as quickly as
possible. What everyone else is doing is only a secondary.

[AB]
With each step up the cage the two men are moving closer to one another.
And now they hang on by one hand and start pounding away with the other.

(the fans are going nuts as both men teeter near the top of the cage
beating each other to a pulp)

[GZ]
What did they serve backstage tonight? Every seems to have a death wish.

[AB]
Baen gets the upper hand and now he grabs Haynes's head and rams it into
the cage and then sends him flying to the mat below. KER-SPLAT!!! Baen
still climbing, but HAYNES BOUNCES OFF THE MAT AND STAGGERS INTO THE
CAGE--Baen loses his grip!!! TIIIIIIIIIMBER!!!

(it's deafening in there)

[GZ]
The impact of Haynes's fall ends up saving the match for Murder Inc. This
is amazing. I hope the EMTs are ready to work overtime tonight. They're
going to have their hands full after this one.

[AB]
No time to breathe though since, in the midst of all of this, Cannon is
crawling towards the door!!! Shrapnel over to open the cage for his man.
Cannon keeps going but Spinelli drops an elbow across the back of his neck,
now he kicks the door into Shrapnel's face!!! HOW UNNECESSARY!!!

[GZ]
If he wanted to do the referee's job, then he has to be willing to pay the
price. Winans is shutting the door again and now he's checking on Shrapnel
who ALSO has a small cut.

[AB]
Spinelli takes Cannon and slams him to the mat. Baen is up and he's off to
help his partner but Haynes grabs his ankle and that allows Spinelli to hit
a palm strike and now a backbreaker.

[GZ]
I think Murder Inc. can smell victory now.

[AB]
I think they agree, Greg. It looks like they're going for one more big
move. Spinelli grabs Cannon from behind as Haynes comes charging off the
rope--RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX SPIKED BY A FLYING DROP KICK!!!

(booooooooooooooooooooo)

[GZ]
Nighty nighty. Boo all you want, only a miracle can save them now.
Spinelli's climbing the cage, and this is about to be over.

[AB]
A miracle? Try handcuffs!!! SHRAPNEL JUST HANDCUFFED SPINELLI'S WRIST TO
THE CAGE!!!

(_huge_ pop)

[GZ]
WHAT!?! THIS IS WORSE THAN THE LAST FIASCO!!!

[AB]
Shrapnel didn't take kindly to that cage in the face and now Murder Inc. is
paying for it. Haynes is over to try and free his partner but nothing's
working. Jules Baen is up and he hits a leaping clothesline that sends
Haynes right into Spinelli!

[GZ]
Winans better get some bolt cutter immediately or we're going to have a
travesty on our hands. Baen now explodes with kicks all over Spinelli's
body and there's nothing he can do to protect himself!!! This is terrible!!!

[AB]
It's getting worse. Baen rams his head into the cage 5 times in a row.
Cannon is back up and he drops Haynes back to the mat with a side russian
leg sweep. Beyond Our Control point to the top of the cage and they're
climbing. Baen is almost at the top but Cannon, standing on the top rope,
stops him and points at a stirring Haynes. TERRIBLE TOWER SOMERSAULT
SENTON FROM ON TOP OF CANNON'S SHOULDERS ON THE TOP ROPE!!!!

(mega-explosion of cheers for the incredible visual)

[GZ]
I'm going to be sick.

[AB]
Baen looks to have taken himself out with that move so Cannon drags him
towards the door and, despite Spinelli's valiant attempts to do something,
CANNON HITS THE FLOOR!!!

DING, DING, DING....

[AB]
BEYOND OUR CONTROL ARE THE VERY FIRST EWC NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!

("Minstrel in the Gallery" comes back on as Kevin Shrapnel grabs the title
belts and hands them over to his men who hold them up to a near standing
ovation only to collapse to the arena floor)

[GZ]
What a disgusting way for another phenomenal match to end. Murder Inc.
deserved better.

[AB]
Maybe they should have left Shrapnel alone. Here come the medics to check
on all four men. Wait a second, another man is coming to the ring and it's
EWC Commissioner John Riker.

[GZ]
Good! Maybe he's actually going to do something tonight.

[Riker]
HOOOOOOLD It, boys....congrats on winning the match...but
HANDCUFFS!?!?!?!?! Come on, you beat these guys legit a few months ago,
and you need *HANDCUFFS* to win a title? Where's the spirit in that? I'll
be giving you the win tonight, but the title? UHUH!

(the fans start booing as BOC looks exhausted but enraged)

[Riker]
We're gonna be doing this again come Hardcore Homecoming...we're gonna
hold the title up until then...and we're gonna spice things up a bit. You
see, in *ADDITION* to whatever stip comes up on the wheel, we're gonna put
the belts up there *points to above the ring* and we're gonna
give you guys a ladder to get to em. And the Ladder rules supercede any
stipulations regarding winning the match....meaning if you draw a Strap
match, you're gonna be climbing a ladder with straps attached. I said
when I got here...things were gonna be different. You win a title, you win
it right..and
that goes for the good guys too. (*starts to walk away*)
Beyond Our Control...*chuckle*...that's amusing......

(the fans are not pleased by this)

[AB]
What an announcement!!! The North American Tag Titles held up until
Hardcore Homecoming where these teams will fight again in a LADDER MATCH
PLUS!!!

[GZ]
Look, I'm all for stripping BOC of the belts, but that stip is insane?
What happens if an inferno match comes up? Or a barbed wire match? Some
people have joked that Riker's looking to kill his wrestlers but I'm
beginning to fear that might be true.

[AB]
Well, these two teams have 2 weeks before they go at it one more time for
the belts.

[GZ]
If I'm Murder Inc. I'm still not happy. First they get cheated out of the
titles. Then they're told that to win them they need to have another
hardcore match--totally not their style. I hope none of these men end up
with their careers over. Don't think it could happen? Just ask Grant
Harrison or Crazy Horse about it.

[AB]
Fans, next week we'll be coming at you live with a special edition of
Impact. We'll be at the University of Florida the night before Hardcore
Homecoming for TAILGATING, TITLES, and TITANS all in one place. Until
then, for MISTER Gregory Zane, I'm Aaron Bishop. Good night.

[GZ]
This night has been unbelievable...

[fade to black.]
