  • Designer:
Thomas H. O'Beine
  • Material:
Chestnut and plywood box.
Pack the pieces into a 12x12x12 unit box, or make a 18x8x12 prism, or 24x8x9, or 24x12x6, or 16x18x6, or 16x12x9.
  • Pieces

6. Three are reflexive pairs of the other three. They are made of 4 units each 3x4x6. To make the pieces, begin by making six "L" shaped pieces from three of the blocks (see photograph). Then attach a forth block to all six off the possible 6 by 4 block faces resulting in three of the blocks in one layer and the forth in the other.

  • Solutions

1 for each packing. The wonderful matter is the way you can transform one solution into another.
