There is a poster of Lex on all the walls, with his picture and it says, "WANTED, LEX, ENEMY OF THE CHOSEN!" Lex and Ebony are in disguise as chosen guards and Lex sees it, "This is what i've always wanted!" Lex says. "What?" Ebony asks. He points to the poster and says, "Fame!" They move along to the Mall Amber walks into a town hall hype of building that kinda looks like a school. She joins Bray, Dal, Pride and the Gaians inside. Amber says, "This'll serve us a good base" and smiles. She stands next to Bray and asks Pride what he found out? They've basically got most of the city under control and heavy security. Theres too many chosen and too few of them, its simple! "What do u wanna do, Bray?" Amber asks. Bray says he just wants to get his friends out. Amber asks Pride, "Do u remember when we took horse and his brothers out of that fort?" "We had a map!" Pride says. "So do we," Amber says, "Dal knows every nut and bolt of the mall!" she says proudly. Pride leaves to scout theb malls alone, He has skills Bray doesnt according to Amber. Lex and Ebony are watching outside the Mall. Tai-San comes out with some of the mall rats, they are in chains. Tai-San stops to help a sick man who's on the floor. a guard shouts at her, "Leave him be! His sickness must run its course!" "Is that wot u believe?!" Tai-San asks, "Well I dont!" the guard tries to hit her but is held back by Alice. Lex wants to run in, Ebony says they're using TS and the others as bait, they'd be walking into a trap. Ebony has a plan. The guardian tries to make Patsy remember her parents deaths, so she can be free. Patsy breaks down into tears Trudy rushes to her side but it stopped by the guardian. Back at Rebel HQ Amber, Bray and Dal are looking at the map of the mall. Amber puts her hand on the phoenix sculpture. Bray and Dal are discussing and pointing where they can get in. Bray asks, "What about here Dal" And moves his hand over the map and touches Ambers. they both pull away. Dal leaves. Amber says, "I never thought i'd be looking at it again, the mall" Bray says, "No" "He's a Brave and capabible guy snt he?!" Bray asks. "Dal?" Amber questions. "Pride!" Bray says. "Yes" Amber replies quietly. "I've seen the way u...trust him" says Bray. "I trust Pride with my life" Says Amber, "My sister got involved with a cold, way back, before the virus." Amber explains, "It was like she had been...taken over somehow" "I'm sorry, I didnt know!" Bray says, "Amber, the Mall rats will never surrender!" "The longer they're in the hands of the chosen, the more likely that one or more will go over, just like Trudy did!" Amber reasons "Then we've gotta get them out now!" Bray says "What if someone gives the alarm?" Amber asks "You dont wanna do this!" Bray gets frustrated "I'm not saying that!" Amber pleads, "Like u said, we've got one chance at this, there cant be any mistakes!" KC comes up to Cloe on the farm and says, "U know the problem with these chosen?!" Ellie walks up behind them and says, "Tell us KC!!" Sarcastically. "They dont wanna trade!" KC says shocked, "No music, no booze no nothing! Its like trying to sell to a vicesquad!" Tai-San is gathering parsley in the background with KC guarding making sure the chosen dont see. Tai-San says they need the extra herbs for vitimins, the food and work the chosen give them, they'll all get really sick soon!! Pride comes in and sees Amber and Bray standing together talking and laughing. Ebony trades some stuff for a poisioned barb which she is told to pierce the skin with, just a scratch will do...the posion will do the rest! Pride approaches Amber and the others and tell them Dal was right, he checked the sewers, its their way in! Dal can break through the gate without triggering anything, there are no guards, they havent realised the way in through the sewers. Pride asks if they get a message to his friends? Amber thinks it's better that no one knows. Pride asks when they leave? Amber says, "WE DO IT TONIGHT !" Lex doesnt like Ebony's plan, he wants to do things his way! Ebony says all they gotta do is cut the head off the snake and everyone including Tai-San will be free! Everyone is getting ready, Amber comes in and asks, "Nearly time to go?!" Bray says, "Amber! you should stay here!" Amber says, "Dont be stupid i'm comming with you!" she shruggs it off "Cant!" Bray says firmly Amber looks at him and says "What?!" Bray says, "We should talk about this!" Amber just looks at him suspisiously and anoyed "Please! Just a word?!" he begs Amber stomps out the room angrily Bray runs after her, she angrily shouts, "You dont tell me what to do Bray!!" Bray shouts after her, "Hear me out!" Amber shouts, "Not infront of my people, Not ever!!!!!!!" Bray swings her around and says, "Listen to me!! This is gonna be dangerous!!" "Dont throw me the macho line!!" Amber shouts Bray convinces her to stay incase and so the Guardian wont be able to get all the leaders of the ressistance in one neat little package!and he cant risk losing her twice! "Ok i'll stay!" Amber says more calmly "And Amber!!" Bray says, "If I...If some of us dont come back...I want u to know...That i'm glad I found you.." Amber gently smiles Lex points a recording device near some chosen giving a password to the guards and being granted entry into the mall. Lex plays it back and says oddly to Ebony, "Corn Beef??!!" Ebony says, "What did u expect? Power & Chaos?" They approach the guards and give the password and are let into the mall. Alice asks Salene how sunday school was? it was fine. Salene defensivly says they just went through the motions. "What motions were those? Did they stand on their heads and do cartwheels??" Alice asked. "It wasernt like that!" Salene defended them. "So tell us what was it like?" Alice asks. "I cant they told us to keep it a secret!" Salene says. "A Secret????" Ellie laughs. "Yes Ellie a secret! on pain of death!" Salene says. "Well u finally learnt its not a game! I told u Salene u cant play ball with a bunch of guys who want the world to be as cracked as they are!" Alice says. Salene quickly says, "Its not cracked! Some of it actually makes sense!" Alice and Ellie turn around and look at her shocked. "I...I didnt mean...." Says Salene. "Yeah well u said it!" Alice says. Salene says shes tired and leaves. Ellie asks Alice if she thinks shes been won over? "I dont know!!" Alice says. Ellie says they need an informer, someone who can pretend to go along with the chosen, but we know never will!! Cloe overhears them and says, "I'll do it!!" Pride and Bray bring the gaians lined up against the wall in the sewers waiting for Dal to open the gates. Pride comes up to Bray and says they're ready. Bray says they're nearly in, Dal's just checking the alarm. Bray says he needs to know something. Pride asks what? "You and Amber...You to seem pretty close..." Bray says "I loved her from the day I first saw her.." Says Pride, "Theres a custom in my tribe Bray, Two people pledge themselves to one another before the others, she and I have made that pledge together!" Bray holds his head back and looks heartbroken Dal comes down and says, "Its done, we're in!!" They all follow him into the mall... The guardian wishes to be alone and tells Luke to stand him men down. He didmisses them then looks inside Tai-San's room and watches her medditate. Bray gets the gaians ready to attack. Ebony comes up behind him and points the barb to his neck and says, "Thought the little fishes got me?? Wrong!!" The guardian says, "Finish me off! help the cause! Make me remembered as a great leader!" Ebony says, "I'm gonna wipe out every trace of y'r existense! They wont even remember what u looked like!!" Suddenly, the guardian overpowers her and knocks her down and is choking her! Lex jumps up and grabs the barb and holds it to the guardians neck. Ebony screams, "Do it Lex!!! DO IT!!!" Lex is interupted my a scream from Salene who thought Bray was a ghost. There is a huge battle, Ebony is knocked out, Shes ok, Bray carries her out and Pride leads the gaians out. They all leave, except lex who spends the nite with Tai-San. Salene is in shock at having seen Bray. Alice comes and sees all the knocked down chosen guards and says, "Some people have all the fun!! Who do we have to thank 4 this?" The guardian blames Trudy for the attack. Ebony is sitting on a chair holding an ice-pack on her neck with Bray and Amber shouting at her for stuffiong up the escape "We had one chance at This Ebony!! AND U BLEW IT!!" Bray screams "Yeah well if u hadent been busy playing Tarzan we'd be able to walk in!" shouts Ebony "We had planned this Ebony!! RIGHT DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL!!" Amber shouts! "Yeah! and if u hadent been running around plaing mission impossible!!" Yells Bray "Ok lets just pretend y'r gr8 plan had succeeded, u freed the gang, u even got goldylocks where u want him! What then? U gonna deny him sweets 4 a week?!" Ebony asks "You are so predictable!" Bray shouts Pride reckons both plans were good, they just got in the way of each other. "Yeah well getting in the way is something Brays good at!" Ebony shouts and leaves. The guardian thinks May is the traitor who helped the attack because she is so quick to condemn their actions! Ebony comes in when Bray is alone. He says, "Whatever it is u can save y'r breath!" He turns around and looks at her and says, "Y'r still here!" "Make things more difficult why dont u!" Ebony says "Me??" Bray says, "Thats y'r specialty!" Ebony claims she didnt come 4 a fight "Then wot?" Bray asks, "A gloat? A good sneer? I dont know how you get y'r kicks these days Ebony and frankly I dont care..." Ebony came to say thanks "4 what?" Bray asks. "Pulling me out!" says Ebony "I would've done it 4 a dog, so happens, it was u! I reckon that makes us even!" says Bray "Even?" sighs Ebony Alice and Ellie recroot another spy...Patsy Tai-San says to everyone, "If u really want some good news, i was saving it till later, but Amber...shes alive!!" Everyone looks around shocked but really happy Bray is really angry they lost the sewers as a mean of entering and it pointing out stuff on the blackboard. "What about the roof?" Amber asks. "They would have tightened things by now!" Says Dal. "Then we hit them on work detail!" says Bray. "Or in disguise like Ebony & Lex!" says Pride. "Where is Lex?" Bray asks, "GOD HAS ANYone SEEN HIM?!" Bray gets really frustrated. Amber approaches him and says, "Bray.." to calm him down and takes the pointer from his hand to hers and starts pointing stuff next to him and says to the others, "The...a...hill..over here and the..umm...trees over here...make..good...ambush points..the....a" She's lost for words when she looks at Bray. "The a cover!" He corrects her. "Yes! The a cover is...good, excellent in fact.,..we a...should be able to take them ...by surprise!" Amber and Bray are caught drifting into each others eyes. Pride watches them upset, and holds the ring Amber gave him........ The mall Rats are on work detail so they can get some food rationds. Tai-San is looking after Cloe telling her she'll feel better when she gets some food. Ellie says, "Tai-San...are u sure Lex was right about Amber? I mean, how??!" Tai-San says, "How doesn't matter. What matters is that it's real, and we can draw hope from it" Alice asks Cloe whats wrong? "If Amber had've been here we wouldn't be in this mess!" Says Cloe "You dont know that" says Alice "And u dont know Amber!" says Cloe, "She would've seen through Trudy even before I did!" "Maybe...maybe not" Alice says "At least Amber would've believed me!" shouts Cloe Ryan and KC come back, they all have half food rationds, punishment 4 Bray's rescue attempt. "Hey Lex!" Bray shouts, "Glad ya found us!" Bray says pleez tell me u found something we can use! "Like what?!" Lex asks "Anything I dunno! Infomation!" " I was busy!" says Lex "Doing what since nothing happened exactly!" Bray says "Well that might be y'r story but I was pretty busy!" says Lex "Hey! Big G is still alive and kickin' now what happened?!?!?!" shouts Bray Lex walks off. Bray comes in later and sees Amber in an empty room staring out the window. "Something on y'r mind?!" Bray asks Amber "Oh, no, nothing!" Amber says "Just admiring the view?" Bray asks Amber says she was wondering what they would've done if he hadent come back last nite. "But I did" Bray reminds her "Yeah u all did" Says Amber "And If I hadent?" Bray asks "It would've been a great loss...to the movement" Says Amber "Nice to know i'd be missed!" says Bray "You still dont realise how much y'r needed round here do you? But then u never did" says Amber and she smiles at him "nope" he says "You were a born leader Bray, I remember having to convince you of that a hundred times when we were togeth.....when we were....all living in the mall!" says Amber "Well alots happened since then" says Bray Amber nods and says, "Yeah it has...." "And maybe i'm not the hero and leader, my Amber thought I once was" He sadly says Amber says, "What I think isn't important!" and leaves Salene goes to see Alice and Ellie to give them food because of their rations cut. May listens to them talking about Bray comming back to rescue them. May leaves 4 the guardian. To avoid being accused of trechery, May tells the guardian she can deliver to him the rebel, Bray.
