Episode7

Bray is sitting alone, isolating himself and moping over Amber, he remembers her telling him he wont lose her again.
Lex and Pride approach him. Lex comments on their new base (the race tracks).
"It's very...what's the word I'm looking for?" Lex says
"Racey?" Bray replies
"Yeah that's it! and the winner is our fearless leader Bray!" Lex says sarcastically
Lex says Pride knows some stuff about setting traps, etc
"So u gonna join me for a lesson?" Lex asks
"Thanks....but I've got things to do." Bray replies
"I need someone to show up!" Lex urges.
"I said no!" Bray says getting irritated
"Awww, but I promised Amber I'd whip you guys into shape!" Pride says.
"Don't you understand the words? N-O! No!" Bray walks off.

May enters Trudy's room with Brady, she asks where Patsy is? She wanted her to 'mind the divine child' while she went to her prayer meeting.
"Patsy is too busy for babysitting, she's getting accepted into the fifth circle today, but you may leave Brady with me." Trudy replies taking Brady
May is concerned, Patsy seems upset about something.
"Well it's no secret...Patsy's probably upset about Cloe, she was found in a restricted room this morning taking confidential infomation," she explains
"Cloe was a spy?" May asks seeming shocked.
"It would seem that way wouldn't it?" Trudy replies annoyed.
"What's gonna happen to her?" May asks
"She's been sent to work in the mines" Trudy responds.

"It's all fixed, we get the computer today!" Alice says triamphantly. Ellie looks upset
"What is it?" Alice asks
"It's Jack....Last time I did this was with him!" Ellie says saddened.
"Well then...this time we do it in his honour!" Alice compensates.
"Or his memory!" Ellie replies

Pride is writing something when Ebony walks in.
"Love letter?" she asks as Pride puts it away.
"Maybe you should've taken my advise!" Ebony says.
"About what?" Pride asks
"About Amber...Do smething stupid, remember? That didn't mean whimp out and leave Bray an empty field!" Ebony reminds him.
"Like it would've made a difference! She loves the guy!" Pride says adamantly
"You could've gone with her for starters!" Ebony persists
"She's made her choice!" Pride insists
"Maybe, but if It had been me I would've gone, easier way to remind her of why she fell for you in the first place with Bray outta the way!" Ebony reminds him
"That's your way not mine! We're not the same kind of people Ebony!" Pride replies
"Yeah well I guess neither of us ended up winning whichever way we played it! We've got that in common haven't we? Alike or not! Oh and dont believe all the things you hear about me, Pride. I can be a very, very good friend!" Ebony says and walks out.

Patsy is infuriated about Alice and Ellie not telling her Cloe was also a spy. Patsy begins to wonder whether she's cut out to be a spy? Ellie reminds patsy that they cant force her, she doesnt have to, they'll find another way.
"Yes.....I do......they took Cloe, they're evil!" Patsy says.

"You just gonna sit there all day?" Lex asks
"Maybe" Bray says
"Well it may have escaped your notice, but theres a war going on!" Lex says.
"Nothing makes you happier, does it Lex? Fighting!" Bray replies
"I had 2 fight buddie, even before the virus...I wasen't born with a silver spoon in my gob!" Lex says.
"You ever heard of strategic planning? Sussing out the enemy and abiding our time?" Bray asks.
"That's just a fancy way of saying 'Lets do Zilch' Your sposed to be leading this mob!" Lex reminds him.
"You want a leader? You lead! Or go ask....Ebony, I'm sure she'd jump at the chance!" Bray says.
"So you just gonna sit here brooding?" Lex asks. Bray stands up.
"Look, I told you before, I'm thinking!" Bray says
"But about what.....or should I say who?" Lex asks
"Hey, leave it out ok?" Bray says
"Listen Bray your not the only one hurting over a girl, and at least yours isn't being held prisioner by a bunch of maniacs!" Lex shouts and stomps out.

A boy hands Alice a laptop wrapped up in cloth.
"Hey thanks for this, we owe ya one!" Alice says
"Good luck," he replies and dashes off not to be seen.
KC approaches Ryan and Alice and see's the object Alice is holding.
Alice tells him to butt out.
"Oh come on Alice, tell me whats going on, and don't say nothing because I seen it!"KC says
"It's private!" Alice replies
"Don't be like that!" KC insists trying to get it.
"You heard her! Butt out KC!" Ryan tells him.
"Oh so he's in on it aswell? Why him and not me? Whatever it is he's bound to screw it up!" KC says.
"Hey thanks!" Ryan says in a sarcastic tone.

Lt Luke approaches Tai-San while she's cleaning and tells her to come with him.
"Why?" she asks unsurely
"Just come with me," he replies
She follows him to the guardian's private suite. May see's her go in.
The guardian offers her fresh fruit picked this morning from their own orchard.
"And I wonder who's orchard that was before it became yours!" Tai-San says sourly
Tai-San asks if there is any place for feelings inside his world?
"They're irrelivant! True leadership comes from disiplining the mind!" The Guardian says.
"No! True leadership...It comes from the spirit!" Tai-San corrects him.
"We have the spirit! The spirit of Zoot!" The Guardian insists.
"Pure hatred!" Tai-San scowles
"and what would you have? Insipid love?" The Guardian remarks
"There is nothing insipid about true passion! But then, what would you know about love?" she asks. He tells her to be careful.
"Love, and hate...two sides of the same coin, one can become another with the flip of a finger..can you imagine what it's like to love, with the same raw passion that you hate? Can you imagine that?" Tai-San asks
"You disappoint me Tai-San, I had hoped for a debait at a higher mental level!" The Guardian says getting agetated.
"Then your wasting your time, Guardian! I only speak from the heart!" Tai-San says.

Salene is having people help peel potatos, KC walks in.
"Must be nice, having your own spud peelers!" KC rorts.
"They're volenteers KC, they chose to do this!" Salene says.
"Unlike me and Ryan...and the rest of the Mall Rats, we dont have a choice!" KC says sourly
"Of course you do!" Salene smiles.
"When us slaves are told to jump.....WE JUMP!!" KC says.
"Well If it's such a probem for you KC maybe you should join the chosen! Then you'd be free!" Salene says
"Are you really sure your free, Salene? Think about it!" KC says
"I'm doing whats best for my baby! How many times do I have to say it?" Salene shouts
"Until you believe it I guess!" KC shruggs
"What's your problem, KC?" Salene shouts
"My problem is you, and all your sell out chosen friends! The only desent one of you was Chloe, at least she tried to do something!" KC shouts]
"I'm sorry about Chloe, it wasent my fault she got taken away, look I gotta play he part KC!" Salene says innocently.
"Yeah and your a really good actor, Salene! I'm sure Ryan's very proud!" KC says and leaves

Ebony is giving fighting lessons to the Gaians with sticks, on the field of the race track. She beats off of them in her demontrations.
Then says, "But what if you meet someone who knows the moves?! Hey Bray, help me out, lets show these guys how to fight"
He looks at her and pulls his coat off and says, "YOU WANNA FIGHT?!"
"I knew you wouldn't let me down!" Ebony says
Bray goes in pretty hard and eventually knocks Ebony to the ground. He attempts to hit her again while she's down but is stopped by Pride.
Everyone leaves except for Lex and Ebony.
"I think thats what they call a near death experience!" Lex snickers
"Oh what do you want, Lex?" Ebony snaps
"I guess I should've known, even Bray, Mr cool, Mr sensible, Mr...understanding, ....even he can hate, mind you, you do make it easier for them Ebony! If you had done to me what you did to Bray......you'd be in Amber's empty grave by now!!" Lex says
"ooohh, Lex! I'm shaking!!" Ebony says.
"Actually I feel sorry for you!" Lex confesses
"Me?" Ebony asks puzzled.
"When this whole thing is over, when the chosen are beaten, and when the Guardian joins his chosen pals in Zoot heaven.....some people are gonna wanna settle some old scores.....and guess who's gonna be top of the list?" Lex says.
"and you'll be selling the tickets, right?" Ebony snarles
"But with a tear in my eye!" he chuckles and walks off.

Ellie and Alice print off the anti-chosen leaflets. saying:
NEVER GIVE UP
WE WILL
DEFEAT
THE CHOSEN!

May sits with Trudy as she puts Brady to sleep. May asks about Tai-San's visits to the guardian? She was being treated like royalty. What visits? Trudy knows nothing about this and pumps May for infomation.

Ebony comes to see Pride.
"I guess it's no secret why Bray and i arn't the best of friends right now.....you must think I'm a monster too...." Ebony says
"I wouldn't say that but I definately think that your someone to treat with caution," he replies
"I couldn't argue with that, see it's making things difficult, we're sposed to be on the same side but Bray wont even talk to me! Will you speak to him for me?" Ebony asks
"What would you have me say?" Pride asks.
"What would you recommend?" Ebony asks.
"Sorry....maybe?" Pride suggests
"After what he did to me?" Ebony asks shocked.
"Well some people might say you had it comming!!" Pride reminds her.
"Oh I get it, guys sticking together! Well can you tell him I'm not interested anymore so we can stop all this!" Ebony says.
"Is that true?" Pride asks
"Course it is! Ok sure, I had a thing for Bray once...that was in school, I been around since then...I mean Bray's great but he's not the only guy on the planet!" Ebony says.
"No?" Pride asks
"No way!!" Ebony says convincingly
"So.....Bray was just a school girl crush, huh?" Pride asks
"Maybe.....but schools out, Its time to play!" she grins and walks out.

Ryan nearly gets caught distributing the leaflets.

Trudy continues to question May on Tai-San's visit with The Guardian.
"I'm sure he wouldn't cheat on you!" May says.
"What did you say?" Trudy asks shocked
"I'm sure he wouldn't cheat on you.....you are together arn't you? but I thought...." May says.
"Well you thought wrong! Our relationship is a spiritual one!!" Trudy snaps.
"Well maybe he's just after a bit of fun, no harm in that is there?!" May laughs
"The Guardian is not interested in a bit of fun!!!!!" Trudy yells.
"Well he's still a guy isn't he?" May says.
"I beg your pardon........are you contridicting me????" Trudy demands
"No, I just can't see what all the fuss is about!" May says
"You are a servant! It is not your place to make disgusting comments about those above you!" Trudy shouts, "NOW GET OUT!!"

KC finds Alice, Ryan and Ellie and shows them one of the anti-chosen leaflets, not knowing that they are the ones distributing them. KC thinks its some ressistance group out there and wants to contact them.
"No! What if they dont want us to?" Alice says, "I mean maybe they dont wanna draw any attension to themselves,"
"Yeah, maybe they just want people to find the leaflets!" Ellie says.
"But thats stupid," he says
"Guard comming!!" Ryan tells them and they all walk off in separate directions.
The guard comes and finds the leaflet KC dropped on the ground.

Bray is punching a punchbag, he hits it too hard and breaks it as Pride walks in.
"No guesses who that was meant for," says Pride
"I'm sick of all this waiting around, punching bags....I wanna get things moving!!" Bray insists
"It's never wise to strike in anger, much less hatred." Pride says
"So I went in too hard! Big deal...Ebony's had it comming a longtime!" Bray says.
"Let me ask you something.....what would Amber do if she saw what you did?" Pride asks
"Meaning?" Bray says.
"Amber loves you, there's no question about that, but she'll stop when she see's how full of hate you are!" Pride reminds him.
"You know this for a fact do you?!" Bray asks bitterly
"I know her! Amber can be angry, she'd fight to the end to defend her people......but she has no hatred, that's her strength, and she'd be saddened to find it in you!" Pride tells him.
"So what? I just click my fingers and it all goes away? I just forget everything Ebony did to us? I cant do that!" Bray says.
"No of course not, but you have to stop hating her, it will destroy you my friend, you and Amber!" Pride says and leaves

Later on Ebony comes and see's Bray sitting on his own.
"You've been avoiding me...what do ya want me to do? Be invisibe? Jump off a tall building?!" Ebony asks.
"Take your pick!" Bray says bitterly.
"You cant go on behaving like this!" Ebony moans
"Excuse me, did you just complain about my behaviour?" Bray asks
"Look I know you have every right to dislike me....." Ebony says.
"Dislike?" Bray replies
"Ok.....hate, and I know what I did to you and Amber was wrong, and I hope the two of you will get over it, for what it's worth, and I know thats not much but....I truly am sorry!" Ebony says and walks out.

Trudy walks in to see Tai-San.
"Trudy....what a surprise," she says
"Leave us!" Trudy tells her guards and they leave.
"Well...you certainly seem to have an easy job, why is that I wonder?" Trudy says.
"We must be grateful for small mercies," she replies, "What can I do for you Trudy....sorry...Supreme Mother!!"
"I have come for a straight answer to a straight question! What are you doing with the guardian?" Trudy demands
"I don't think I know what you mean," she says innocently
"You know exactly what I mean! Private visits in his suite...what exactly to do think your playing at?!" Trudy says.
"I simply do as I'm ordered, we all do!" Tai-San says.
"Don't be cute! I know you, Tai-San!" Trudy yells
"Do you?" Tai-San asks
"You come on with all this spiritual garbage, but deep down you have the morals of an ally cat! Now tell me what you are doing with him!!" Trudy shouts.
"It seems you have already reached your own conclusion!" Tai-San says.

Luke catches Ellie putting you the anti-chosen posters on the wall.
"I think we need to talk, don't you?" Lt Luke says.
"I found them on the ground!" Ellie lies.
"Ellie people dont just leave these on the ground...not when they've gone through the trouble of printing them!" Lt Luke says.
"You didnt think this through, and about the consequences did you?" Lt Luke says.
"I guess not," she shruggs.
"and do you know what they are?" He asks
"Half rationds? No rationds? Or send me to the mines! I can catch up with Cloe!!" Ellie says.
"This offence is serious!" Lt Luke says.
"Just for picking some leaflets off the ground?" Ellie asks frightened.
"The Guardian wont believe that! He's determined to make an example of someone!" Lt Luke says.
"I didn't know that!" Ellie cries
"It makes no difference!" Lt Luke tells her, "He insists on a sacrifice!"
"Will they let me see my sister first?" Ellie asks
"Look Ellie, I'm going to do something Ive never done before, I'm gonna forget this ever happened! But you must promise me you'll never get involved with anything like this again." Lt Luke compensates
"Yes I promise!" She says.
"You only have this one chance, Ellie, dont waste it!" Lt Luke says and walks out.
"Yes, thank you!" she says in shock.

"The Guardian is medditating, someone knocks at his door.
Trudy enters wearing a red dress, red eyeshaddow and lipstick.
"You should've told me that you were lonely, poor boy....why settle for Tai-San, when you can have me?" Trudy says and he looks back at her shocked.............
