Due
to the following observations and facts, more stringent requirements
for posting by Non-SO's to The SO Support Forum
(for the Significant Others of Infantilists) are being experimented with for the next month.
- Observation:
The Clubhouse Forum has already proven to be a place where dedicated
primarily to infantilists, where infantilists are and always
will be the ultimate experts on what it is like to be an infantilist,
without question.
- Observation:
The
SO Support Forum
(for the Significant Others of Infantilists), on the other hand, up until now has had a sort
of an ambiguous purpose.
- Observation:
Until now, the question has remained unanswered, is the SO
Forum supposed to be a place designed primarily for the benefit
of infantilists, benefitting infantilists by continually forcing
the SO's of infantilists to have to answer to the posts of infantilists
within that Forum, or is it a place designed primarily for the
benefit of the SO's of infantilists, where discussions can be
regularly and predictably led by SO's and not by infantilists?
- Fact:
It has been expressed that there ought to be a place where some
of the important matters that SO's of infantilists must face,
could be openly spoken of in a discussion that is essentially
directed by SO's and not by infantilists.
Thus
this experiment in setting up extra posting requirements for
Non SO's on The
SO Support Forum
(for the Significant Others of Infantilists). These requirements are designed to create a place
where SO oriented discussions can predominate equally as well
as infantilist oriented discussions have tended to predominate
in the Clubhouse Forum.
It
has seemed to be easy for infantilists to predominate in discussions
in the Clubhouse Forum as infantilists are the natural experts
on the subject there, but it has seemed to prove to be more difficult
for SO discussions to predominate in The SO Support Forum
(for the Significant Others of Infantilists) due to the tendency of some infantilists to want
to occasionally barge in and post disparaging posts over there,
disrupting the discussions and sidetracking the train of thought
in the SO Forum.
These
extra posting requirements for Non SO's are probably not final
and will be fully reviewed, discussed and possibly altered in
some way on or near June 15th, after approximately one month
of giving them a fair trial. Thank you for bearing with this
experiment in Forum Structuring.
Ultimately
it is hoped that by attempting to provide SO's with a place where
SO's might be able to more easily work through the circumstances
they find themselves in, uninterrupted by some potentially disruptive
posts by Non SO's, that greater benefit might be able to be attained
for SO's and for infantilists, through greater self understanding
by all.
