NEW YORK..NEW YORK.... |
i came to New York, after the September 11 attack at the WTC...it was amazing how the people of NY worked together, the spirit of New Yorkers has reached a new height...it never was a blue Christmas in 2001...sorry, but the terrorist, i think...failed.... |
ny skyline from the empire state bldg... |
the rockefeller center skating rink...where most of the christmas activities happened...the lighting of the christmas tree brings new light to new yorkers.... it was a site to see.... |
...ground zero at the background...it has served as a reminder of the heroism of individuals....and the rebirth of a great city.... |
...New Years Eve at Times Square..nothing has changed, except for the tight security..but people were tolerant, and had a great time...praying for a better 2002.... |
...and what a fitting tribute to the heroes, the individuals who shared their lives or lives were touched by the incident of 911...Times put up this exhibit to the Public in Grand Central terminal.... |
...many stories has been said, testimonies heard...the painful task of rebuilding could take a long while, but the most important thing- the SPIRIT- has never been stronger. I think the terrorists has succeded- in bringing back the fire of patriotism and the idea of peace and harmony, not only to americans...but to most peace loving people of the world.... But could there be a true peace? In life's tribulations, miseries, and hardships...we can only look forward to the promise of rest and peace God has for us in a place that will truly be....our Home. |
