| Having been "spiritually renewed" by the reading of the new Note by Note, I was inspired to create my own brief walk down memory lane. I heartily recommend that you run out and purchase Note by Note before it disappears! It might just inspire you as well. "Note By Note is a 184-page hardcover coffee table book featuring more than 500 photos, essays and assorted images encompassing 35 years of St. Louis Blues hockey. A limited run of 15,000 books was printed for Note By Note, and may be ordered online at stlouisblues.com or by phone at 1-800-258-3716. Note By Note definitively captures the essence of the St. Louis Blues in photos that are both remembered and rare, each celebrating the color and excitement of Blues hockey through all generations of the club's existence. Vibrantly illustrated throughout, accompanied by colorful text and insightful cutlines, Note By Note is the first, and only, book of its kind on the Blues. Note By Note was not conceived as a source for statistics and records. Instead, Note By Note stitches together moments and memories all in a beautifully crafted volume that is certain to become a classic and a keepsake for years to come."--StLouisBlues.com |

| Jan 2, 1999 wasn't my first game. My first game was in 1990, and I was in 4th grade. The place was The Arena, not Kiel Center. And I caught the bug. By the time I went to the Jan 2, 1999 game, I was familiar with every Blue by name and face, I listened to the games over the internet on a headset in my college dorm, and I posted on the Blues online forum fanatically. What made that night special was the signature on the back of the ticket. Seeing the injured Geoff Courtnall standing in my section's entrance, I tripped over everyone in my row to ask him for his signature. It was my first Blues signature. | ||||||||||||||||
