Prologue: Once long ago in the Kingdom of Avendar a wise King and a gentle queen ruled in a manor most fairy tales today could only dream of. Their kingdom was wealthy and happy. The only thing that was sad was that the wise King and gentle Queen were growing old and had no child to take the throne when they were gone. But hope came in the form of the winter meeting of the Faery court, which resided within Avendar. The King and Queen of the Faery court had no children of their own either, and thus felt the pain of the rulers of men. So with the power of the Faery folk the Faery nobles blessed the human couple and in the ways of the old teachings they were rewarded with a child of their own. It was a joyous time for both kingdoms, who for the first time, were actively participating with one another. At the turning of summer to fall the human Queen fell ill, and it was feared that not only the child would be lost but the beloved queen as well. And in the first snows of the winter the call went out, the human Queen had died in childbirth. The Queen, in her last bit of strength, had delivered a strong son. The kingdom and it's king both grieved and rejoiced at the same time. As the Queen body was committed to the flames the prince was given his name; Adam. Not long after that the Faery Queen gave birth to a son of her own; William. But with his safe birth came hate and fear. And questions. The humans came to wonder if the Faeries had done something to cause the queen's death. Through some bad moves and even worse decisions on the part of both peoples a war was started. Part 1 Seventeen years later: Prince Adam sat on the back of his prized stallion, Egoto and survived his country's land where it bordered the Faery lands. He hated the Faeries for taking his mother. Adam didn't know how they had done it... Probably some of their evil faery magic. But that was his sticking point; magic. He had always wanted to see magic. It was something that had drawn him since his tutors had first taught him of the amazing world of magic. "What do you here?" a soft voice asked from the shadows of a large birch tree near his right. Adam jumped and cursed at being caught off guard. He pulled his sword and studied the shadows that hid his possible enemy. In the tree branches a youth somewhere around his own age rested. "I'm..." Adam was about to introduce himself as the Prince of Avendar, but some how that didn't seem right. "Adam. Who are you?" "My friends call me Jay. But you didn't answer my question. What do you here? This isn't safe for someone of your beauty." Jay stood on the branch he had been seated on and flipped himself easily to the ground to stand near Egoto. "I'm just out looking for faeries." Adam told him as he dismounted. Jay raised an eyebrow and brushed away the tiny wisps of hair that were hanging in his face. "What would you do if you found one?" This stopped the young prince. What would be do with on should he meet one? "I don't really know... I just wish to see one... I never have." Adam shrugged. "Oh, the curious one I see... Well I can't blame you... You want to go see what we can find... In the Forest of the Faeries?" Jay said as he turned and walked to the edge of the forest. Adam raced to the other youth's side, grabbing his arm. "What do you think you're doing? It's dangerous in there." "Have all the curiosity of a cat, but no courage to back it up... Oh, well... See you around." With those final words and a cocky grin Jay turned and sprinted into the Forest of the Faeries. Adam watched him go. "Great, the first time I make a friend outside of the palace and he runs into the one place sure to get him killed. Great." *** "Prince Adam! Oh Prince Adam, where are you?" His nurse, Nora and his tutor, Lance were looking for him and the young Prince was safely hidden away from their teaching in the hay loft of the stables with his best friends Shane and Shawn. "What are we going to do today?" Shawn asked as he rolled over and looked out of the loft to make certain that no one was looking there way. "I don't know about you two, but I'm going to the Forest's edge to see if I can meet that guy again... I hope he's didn't die cause of some stupid macho idea." Adam muttered the last to himself as he rose and slipped into the common clothes he used when he went out into the common lands. "Oh..." Shane and Shawn said as they nudged each other with knowing grins. "Don't 'oh' me. I'd feel bad if he had got himself killed cause he thought he needed to prove something to me... Or to himself..." Adam looked at his two friends. "Are you two coming or not?" The two others smiled at each other and stood, already in their common clothes. "Let's go." Shawn said as he hurried down to see if the stable boy had gotten the horses ready. Shane stepped up to Adam's side as his prince stared out at the distant forest. "Are you okay, Adam?" Adam, shaking his head, smiled. "I'm fine. It's just... I wonder why I'd never seen his around before. I thought I had meet everyone in this kingdom during my father's plans to find me a suitable mate." Shane grinned. "Not everyone... But just about. I'd say he was the son of a farmer or something like that. Come on... Let's see if we can meet this young man that seems to hold your attention so well." With a smile and a pat on Shane's shoulder, Adam jumped to the first floor of the palace stables. Shane sighed, but followed taking the safer route down the ladder. *** "Where you going, Jay?" Jeff asked as he jumped from where he had been sitting in a tree near the edge of the Forest. "I just wanted to see that guy was back at the edge." Jay told his young friend and waited for the younger male to go back to what he had been doing. "What's he like?" Jeff bounced beside his friend as they walked towards the meadow. "None of your business. Go back to your lessons... I'm sure that Matt's looking for you." Jay sent the young one on his way and left quickly before Jeff came after him. Part 2 Adam sat under the tree that he had first seen Jay in. Why had he been thinking so much about the other youth? What about the other blond had drawn him? Sighing he looked at the sinking sun. Guess Jay wouldn't be coming that day. "So, you're here again. See any Faeries?" Jay slipped from the tree above him to land and sit at his side. "Not yet... So what did you see when you went into the forest?" Adam asked as he glanced over to where Shane and Shawn sat on a picnic blanket a few feet away not noticing their Prince's companion. "Nothing much... It looked like just another forest to me... Who are your friends?" Jay asked following the other's eyes to the humans laying and resting on the blanket. "Shane and Shawn. And come on, it had to have something weird in it... Otherwise it wouldn't be special." Adam turned slightly and waited for some of the mysteries and the magic this other young man had to have seen in the Forest. "Well..." Jay left off thinking. "I didn't see anything weird." Adam huffed then looked at the woods. "If there's nothing bad out there... Maybe I could go find a stream or something... I smell like a sweaty horse..." Jay looked at him with his head cocked sending his hair over his shoulder. "I know a spot... If you'd care to join me... The Forest isn't for the weak at heart." "I'd care to. Mind if my friends join us?" Adam stood and unthinkingly pulled Jay to his feet. Jay blushed at the contact but nodded. "If they're brave enough." "Shane... Shawn! Wake up! Jay's going to lead us to a stream to wash the horse smell off." Adam called. Shane and Shawn woke up and were on their feet amazed at the beauty standing at Adam's side. "Shane, Shawn this is Jay." Adam introduced then turned to Jay. "Lead the way." Jay nodded then walked slowly into the woods wondering if they would truly follow. Adam caught up with him easily with Shane and Shawn not but a few steps behind. "So how far is it?" "It's not that far... Maybe a twenty minute walk." Jay said nothing more as he negotiated the woods quickly and easily. "Why are you so interested in the woods? I mean it's just a bunch of trees." Jay asked Adam as they reached the springs he had been leading them to. "I want to see some Faeries and their magic." Adam didn't think twice as he stripped and dove into the cool water. "Magic?" Jay asked pulling off his own things and followed Adam. Shane and Shawn, knowing they weren't going to be seeing much of their prince, stripped and wandered into the water a few meters down from the prince and his friend. "Damn, that guy's hot." Shawn muttered as they watched Jay swimming a little farther from them and Adam. "Oh yeah..." Shane smiled then caught a movement out of the corner of his eye. Glancing he found a small blond boy gathering up his and Shawn's clothes. "Hey!" Shane didn't think as he waded out and started to chase the boy who was now making a get away with their clothing. Shawn was only a few steps behind Shane as they chased the laughing youth. "Shannon!" a stern voice stopped the little blond in his tracks. Ahead on the little trail that 'Shannon' had been traveling a dark haired young man dropped from a tree and glared at the child. "Give them their things back." "But Seany!" Shannon whined as he gripped their clothes. "Give them back now, Shannon." the dark haired one reached out and put a hand to Shannon's shoulder. "Now, Shannon." "'kay... Sorry." the little blond turned and handed the clothes back to the humans he had been playing with. They were the first young humans he had ever seen. Shane growled as he grabbed his trousers and pulled them on. Shawn was too busy staring at the dark haired youth. "Shannon, go back to the village." he pushed the blond off to one side then watched the humans. Shannon looked at the humans that interested him in the first place, then turned and ran off to tell Jeff about his run in with two actual humans. "I'm sorry about young Shannon. You're probably the first human youths he's ever seen... Do you need guide back out to the meadow?" the Faerie youth looked at them, waiting. "That'd be nice." Shane murmured looking around. Shawn finally moved his eyes from the Faery to the unfamiliar forest around them and the darkness that was too close. "Shit." "It's okay. None of my kin will harm you. Finish dressing then I will lead you out." the Faery turned and walked a few feet up the trail to give them a little privacy. Shane and Shawn hurriedly dressed and moved to stand near the Faery they were trusting to guide them safely out. "This way and hurry... Ageran makes her run tonight. That's not something you want to be in the middle of." The Faery moved off swiftly, but not so that they were left behind. "What's Ageran?" Shane asked as he looked around wondering what or who it could be. "She's the guardian of the Forest. She's out looking for a mate tonight so that her daughter will be there to guard the forest after she is gone." "What's your name?" Shawn questioned as he fought to keep up with the other two. "Sean... But it isn't a time for introductions." Sean said then stopped as an odd scream echoed through the falling night. "Shit... no time. I hope you two can climb." Sean veered off the path they had been on and up to a large tree. "Up you two go. This is the only place we'll be safe tonight while she's hunting a mate." Shane and Shawn looked at each other then at the tree. Just as they were about to say something to Sean the strange scream came again and the two humans went scrambling up the tree with Sean only a few seconds behind them. "We'll be safe up here until she's found her mate. Then I'll be able to take you on to the Forest's edge." Sean moved higher in the tree and let out a loud whine then waited, listening. When a call not much different came he nodded. "You're friend is safe. Jay got him out before she started her run. He says that the other human is waiting on you. I'll tell him that you'll join your friend in a few hours." Sean called out a couple more times then settled on the branch to rest before he guided the humans out the forest. Shawn bit his lip and moved up to sit near the faery. He studied Sean, taking in the dark curls and the darker lashes over closed eyes. "What are you staring at?" Sean opened one eye to look at the human. "I've just never seen a faery this close before..." "Get some rest." Sean ordered before closing the eye again. Shawn sighed and leaned back against the branch above him. *** Adam and Jay were talking when the other two humans took off at a dead run after a blond blur. Jay only chuckled then stopped when he seen Adam confused look. "One of my younger friends took their clothes. Don't worry, Shannon's sitter is out there watching him." Jay reassured him. Adam took this and they went on bathing for a short time before crawling out to dress and relax on the rocks. "Wh-" Adam was just about to say something a cry broke the deepening twilight. "Oh shit... Come on!" Jay stood and took Adam's hand and started running. It was then that Adam realize something. Jay knew these woods too well to be the average human youth... He had to be a Faery. Adam was about to start struggling when they came to the edge of the forest. "Go... don't look back." Jay heard a different kind of call and answered it. "You're friends are with a friend of mine and safe for the night. He will guide them out when it's safe. But go now." "But what's going on?" Adam couldn't understand what could make the supposedly fearless faeries. "A very powerful spirit wanders the Forest this night in search of a mate... We know her as Ageran, humans know her as Linda, guardian of the Wood. Your friends are safe, and so are you so long as you don't enter the forest. I've gotta go." Jay was just about to take off again when Adam grabbed his hand, stopping him. "But if it's dangerous, should you be in there at all?" Adam was worried. This was one of the few people who liked him without being awed by his title. Even if Jay was a faery, he was still nice. Maybe it was like humans; there were good ones and there were bad ones. "I know how and where to travel so that I'm safe from her run... But there are the children who have been trapped out unaware of what is happening. I've got to go find them... Maybe... I'll see you again?" Jay knew the moment Adam had realized what he was and was afraid that his human friend wouldn't like him any more because of it. "As often as I can... But why didn't you tell me you were a faery?" "Because you'd have hated me when you didn't even know who I was. I'll watch for you at the forest's edge. Take care." With that and his cocky grin Jay was off and running into the forest. Adam sat down on the picnic blanket they had forgotten when they went off to bath. He waited and listened to the sounds of the night along with that weird scream every now and then, to which he shuttered. Then he realized something. He had met a faery and had yet to see any kind of magic. *** "Come on, it's safe now. She's found her mate for the night." Sean told them and leaped to the ground. Shane and Shawn stretched, wincing at the pain the movements caused before climbing down. Silently they traveled through the completely dark forest with nothing but one half known faery to guide them. Minutes later they reached the edge and Sean stopped before stepping out into the moonlight. "Here you go... Think long and hard before you step into this forest again." With that he was off into the darkness of the forest. Shawn and Shane walked out to find Adam sleeping on the blanket. "Hey, Adam... We should get back before we get into any more trouble." Shane told their prince shaking him awake. Adam nodded as he sat up and stretched. As they rode back Shawn turned to Adam and asked, "Did you know your friend was a faery?" "Not until tonight... Guys I'm not sure all faeries are bad... I mean, they could have left us in there and saved themselves. But instead they helped us." Shane and Shawn nodded in agreement. The rest of their trip back to the palace was in silence. *** "Hey, Jay... where have you been? Matt told me that you had been caught by Ageran... I was so scared." Jeff literally leapt at his friend and wrapped his arms around the slightly taller youth. "I'm fine Jeffy. You go on back to your brother. I need to rest. I've been traveling searching for any that might have been caught in the run." Jay patted Jeff on the head and went to his tree house. But before he could get there an emissary of his father came running up. "Prince William, your father wishes to know if any lives were lost during the night's running?" "Only one human... A huntsman. Not a friend, but neither was he an enemy." Jay waved him off before climbing the ladder into his home and rolling it up so that he could get some sleep in what was left of the night. Maybe he would get lucky and have dreams of Adam. Part 3 "Prince Adam, I really wish you would pay attention... If you were to greet some of the visiting dignitaries with the same lack of interest you are showing now you could very well send us into another war." Lance said as he tried once again to explain a theorem to his young charge. Off to one side his lovely wife Nora sat embroidering something waiting for her turn to try and teach the young prince something about the manners and cultural standards he would need. "How good of friends were my parents with the faery royals before my mother died?" Adam asked suddenly causing Nora to stab her finger with the needle she was using and Lance to drop the book he had held. "E-e-excuse me, my prince?" Lance managed to stutter a moment later. "How good of friends were my parents with the faery royals before my mother died?" Adam asked again. "Well... very good, my prince. Your parents were not blessed with a child until the fair folk added them. As is their belief they were rewarded with their own son not long after you were born. Why do you ask?" Nora asked standing and going to have her husband kiss the small wound on her finger. Lance pressed a soft kiss to her injury and gave her a soft smile, to which she blushed and then went back to looking at their prince and charge. "I just wondered how they could go from helping my parents have me to killing my mother... It just doesn't make sense." Adam huffed. Nora and Lance exchanged looks then Nora went to Adam's side, taking his hand. "You must never repeat this, but there are those of us who believe it wasn't the fair folk who took your mother's life... But rather just an illness." Adam looked at his mentors in shocked horror. "You mean to tell me that this whole war is based on someone's idea that my mother was murdered, not actual proof?" Lance moved to stand with this hands on his wife's shoulders. "Yes, my prince." "And my father let this happen?" Adam couldn't believe his father would do something like that. "Your father was blinded by grief when the rumors were flying and he needed someone, something to blame... The faeries have been that someone." Nora said softly as she reached out and pulled him to her. Adam allowed his former nurse to put his head over her heart and stroke his hair. It was all for nothing... All that hate, all that fear and rage were for nothing. *** Shane was humming to himself as he headed out for a nice afternoon ride while Adam received his lessons. Sometimes it was good not to be royal. "Hey." a soft voice said from the bushes along side the road which passed near the Forest. Shane looked around then as he was about to start on his way the voice came again. "Hey... aren't you the one I stole the clothes from a fortnight ago?" Shane dismounted and parted the brush. There cradling an obviously broken arm lay the little blond faery who had stolen his and Shawn's things. "Yeah... ouch. What happened?" Shane moved to kneel next to the wounded little faery. "I fell out of the tree... And I think I'm lost." Shannon was trying so hard not to cry, but his arm hurt and his head hurt where he had landed head first from the tree. Shane gave him a reassuring smile then looked closer at the arm. "Well, you're arms broken... Do you hurt any where else?" "My head... I landed on it first." Shannon looked into the strange human eyes and read the good soul within and relaxed even more. "I'm going to take you to a healer, but I'll have to pick you up first." Shane told him as he got the much smaller boy on his feet and then walked him the few steps to his horse. But Shannon drew back from the large animal. "It's okay... Never rode a horse before?" Shane reassured him as he lifted the blond into the saddle. Shannon shook his head and hung onto the thing poking out of the thing on the horse's back. Quickly Shane swung up behind him and gathered the small faery to him. "Relax... It's only a few minutes to the nearest healer." Shannon started shaking his head. "I can't go to a human healer... They'll know I'm a faery and kill me." "Oh, if I were to take you to the valley near the spring where we met could you guide me from there?" Shane asked as he realized human wouldn't care if Shannon was only a child, they would only see faery. Shannon nodded and leaned back against the warm chest, finally relaxing since he had fallen. "Hey, you have to stay awake." Shane knew of men who had taken a hit to the head and went to sleep never to awaken. "'kay... Why are you nice? I thought human hated us faeries." Shannon roused himself to stare at this new view of the road. "Not all of us." Shane quickened the pace a little and after making sure the new pace wasn't hurting Shannon he asked him something. "Where is your friend from the other day? Sean, I think he said his name was." "He's a ranger... He needed to scout something today so I was left on my own." Shane came around a bend and they were at the valley where Shane had first entered the Forest. "Okay, I'm going to get down and then lift you down." Shane waited for Shannon's nod, then did as he said only he didn't set the faery on his feet. Instead, Shane balanced him and tied the horse to a tree. "Now, can you tell me where to take you?" Shannon pointed and rested his head on Shane's shoulder as they started off into the woods. *** Jay came running the minute the guards had said there was a human approaching and he had Shannon. At first Jay was ready to defend his young friend only to see that it was only Shane and signaled the others to stand down. "Shannon, what have you gotten yourself into now?" Jay asked as he approached them. "He's broken his arm and took a nasty hit on the head." Shane answered for him, then glanced around at the mostly aerial houses. "Wow..." "Come this way... I'll show you the way to the healer." Jay offered pointing off to one of the only houses on the ground. Shannon smiled when Scott came out to frown at them. "What's happened?" "I fell out of a tree, Scotty." Shannon said sounding absolutely pathetic. "Okay... bring him in... You're human." Scott said after he noticed who was carrying Shannon. "I know that, are you going to help him or do I take him else where?" Shane demanded glaring at the faery healer. "Bring him inside." Scott turned and then raised an eyebrow to Jay then walked into the house. "Kevin, go get the wood to make splints... Shannon's broken his arm." Shane stepped into the house and was amazed to see the biggest human he'd ever seen standing there looking worried. "Oh, little one... You always get into the biggest mess." Kevin shook his head then smiled at the dark haired human carrying their young friend. Kevin nodded once then went out to find a couple good branches for a splint. Shane laid Shannon down on the bed Scott had lead them to. Kevin came back in with wood and a cup of water. "Why don't you come with me to the kitchen? I'll make us a cup of tea before I show you out of the Forest." Kevin took Shane by the arm, making him realize that it wasn't just a suggestion. In the tiny kitchen Shane was nudged into one of the chair at the table then watched as the other human sat some water to boiling. "I'm sure you're wondering what I'm doing here." Kevin's voice startled him by saying exactly what he was thinking. "Umm... yeah." "Scott and I are bonded... It's like a male/male marriage." Kevin told him, instinctively trusting this young man because he had saved Shannon. "What's your name, kid?" "Shane Helms, sir." Shane answered as he rose to help Kevin with the tea. "It's a pleasure. I'm Kevin Nash. Sit back down, young one." Kevin gave him a little push then put the tea to steep. "We're grateful for you bring Shannon back to us... That boy gets into so many scraps it's a wonder he's still alive." Kevin stopped and smiled when Scott came out of the room with Shannon in it. "He's going to be fine. It was a simple break. He'll have to rest for a day or so then he can be up doing what he wants as long as he doesn't use the arm." Scott told Kevin who sighed in relief. "What about his head? He said he landed on it." Shane asked worried for the little guy. "No concussion. Just a small knot... Thank you for bringing him to us." Scott told him as he sat across from the human youth and checked the tea he smelled steeping. After he was certain it was done he poured three cups. Shane took the tea with a nod of thanks. "Has anything of interest happened in the human world?" Kevin asked wondering about the world he had left to be with Scott. "Nothing much... A trade agreement went wrong when the foreign delegate slapped Shawn... He and I are Prince Adam's friends." Shane said as he tried not to tell them anything that might effect the war. "Prince Adam?" Jay asked from where he stood in the kitchen door way. "You mean to tell me I've been associating with the human prince?" Shane nodded. "Didn't he tell you?" Jay laughed, "No." "Oops." Shane knew he shouldn't have said anything. "It's okay, Shane. It just startled me. Come, I'll lead you back to your horse." Jay drew Shane to his feet then nodded to Kevin and Scott. *** Shawn yawned and stretched as he waited for the fish to nibble at the bait on his line. As Shane went out riding during Adam's princely lessons Shawn fished. Though today he wasn't having much luck. "Better fishing down stream." a voice told him as a figure moved to lean against a near tree. Shawn jumped but then smiled at Sean. "Really?" "Yeah, there are some big bass in this one whole." Sean said gesturing down river and around a slight bend. "Okay, lead the way." Shawn drew in his line and picked up his gear, following the dark faery. Minutes later he had his line out and waited to catch one of the large fish he seen swimming around the bottom of the hole. Sean had stretched himself out in the near shade of the Forest watching through half slitted eyes, assessing this strange human and wondering what had possessed him to bring Shawn to his private fishing hole. *** Shane walked into the prince's private wing to find Adam laying on his bed with a large book in his lap. "What are you reading?" Adam looked up and gave Shane a half smile, which faded quickly. "Did you know this whole war started because of unproven rumors?" Shane was taken aback. Sometimes it was kind of scary how he could see the king Adam would be one day. "Umm... no. It was?" Adam pulled him to sit beside him and handed him the journal of the steward at start of all of the trouble. "Look at this... According to this the faeries sent all their best healers to help my mother... If they were trying to kill her why wouldn't they with hold the healers? Or at least of done something suspicious." Shane read the account and shook his head. "I don't know... But you're never going to guess where I was today." "Where?" Adam asked distractedly as he flipped through the journal some more. "A faery settlement." Adam looked up shock written on his every feature. "Wha-... how... huh?" "You remember that little faery who stole mine and Shawn's clothes that day at the spring? Well I was riding like I do every afternoon while you have your lessons and in some bushes along side of the road lay that same little faery, Shannon. He had taken a header out of a tree and broken his arm. He lead me to the little village in the forest... Adam the houses were in the tree! I mean like two or three times my height at least. It was amazing." Shane was grinning the whole time he was speaking. "Could you find your way back?" Adam wanted to see these houses in the sky. Shane shook his head. "I was so worried about Shannon I didn't pay attention to where he told me to go and on the way out I could barely keep up with your friend let alone pay attention to where we were." Adam sighed. "Oh well. Maybe some time he'll take me to the village." Part 4 Months passed and Prince Adam and Prince William, whom most knew as Jay, grew to not only like one another but kind of started developing deeper more adult feelings than youth friendship. Though they wouldn't give it a name, all who seen them together knew it to be love in one of it's purest forms. Friendship wrought in distance and cultural differences, when tempered with time and patience became true love. All went well for young Shannon as well. It became a custom for him to go with Jay when he went to see Adam, because his new best friend, Shane, was there too. Shawn and Sean continued to meet, though the fishing aspect of their friendship had given way first to exploration of the Forest, then to exploration of one another. At first they had both been shy, as they had only ever been with females, but another form of love was too much for them; this one being love developing from lust. While not as pure as true love, it was just as strong and just as lasting. *** "Shawn... would you like to visit my home?" Sean asked as they lay together after a rather heated love making session. Shawn had been 'hunting' Sean when the smaller darker one had gotten the drop on him. Their friendly little wrestling match had caused passions to flare and almost magically their clothes were gone and Sean was sinking slowly onto his human lover's cock. Shawn was amazed. He knew what this meant... To be invited into a lover's home was a move into a more committed relationship... Also was the fact that the ranger now trusted him enough to show him the way to the court of the faeries. "I... would... love to." He managed before gathering Sean ever closer and pressing a kiss to the dark curls that drew him. Sean moved his head over Shawn's heart, smiling. That had been easier than he had thought. "Do you think your prince would miss you if you were to stay for a couple of days?" Gulping Shawn shook his head. "I don't think so... Sean, I... well... you see... umm... kinda... maybe... just a little-" Sean put his fingers over Shawn's lips. "I love you, too." A giant whoosh of air came out of Shawn as he nuzzled Sean's curls. "Thanks... I don't think I was going to be able to get it out." Sean laughed. "That's what I love about. You're honest about your emotions... even if you stutter so prettily every time you try to talk about them." Growling in a mock tone Shawn rolled Sean off of him then moved on top of him. "Sean, of the second house of Rangers, I love you... And I do not stutter." Sean only smiled. "Of course not, my love." *** "Adam, would you mind if I took a brief time from your company?" Shawn asked as he sat with Adam and Shane in the prince's bed room. "Of course not... Where are you going?" Adam rolled to look at his amber haired friend. Shawn turned a pretty shade of red as he said, "Sean's invited me to his home." Shane and Adam grinned at each other then turned to Shawn. "Oh really?" Adam asked. "And what haven't you been telling us about your dealing with the dark haired faery?" "Umm... he and I have been lovers for the last four months." Shawn said softly the blush on his cheeks growing brightly. "Of course you can have as much time as you want. Shane and Jay will keep me company while you're off with Sean." Adam pressed an innocent kiss to Shawn's forehead then grabbed him and put him on his feet. "Go on! Go get your man... er... faery." "Thank you... I shouldn't be but a fortnight... maybe a month..." Shawn ran out to go pack his things and get ready for his trip. "I'm happy for him... I just have one question." Shane told Adam as they watched their friend go. "How do two men make love?" Adam thought about it for a moment. "Well... there's really only one place to put it... But I don't see how." Shane thinking about it for a moment picked up on that one place as well and grimaced. "But isn't it too small?" "I would think... Maybe faeries aren't as big as humans... Or they have some magic to make it bigger." Adam shrugged and fought the mental picture he had of some how plunging into Jay's tight rear entrance. Shane too was fighting a similar image, only it was Shannon's face he was seeing. What he had found out over the months he had known Shannon was that while tiny in actual size Shannon was only a year younger than his own seventeen years. "Come on... let's go have the steward prepare the bathing area." Adam said standing and shifting his rising cock. "Make certain he brings in cold water."
