Shawn Micheals his looking out the window of the limo he hire to pick him up at the airport. He heads for HealthSouth hospital to see Kevin. Shawn as to fight back his tears as he thinks about his baby alone and in pain. He rests his forehead against the window, letting his tears fall.

Shawn jump out of the limo as soon as it stops in front of the hospital. He run to the nurses station asking her where Kevin is. He run to the room, stopping in front of the door, he take a deep breaths to calm himself. He walk in the room, he look at Kevin laying on the bed looking so peaceful but Shawn knows from experience that the peacefulness will all go away as soon as the pain killers stop doing their magic. He sits next to the bed taking Kevin's hand in his gently.
I walk but you run through fire...I search for reason and baby you inspire...But I know somebody hurt you...And I know you really need a friend...Well you can take my hand...
Kevin whimper in pain, his eyes still close. Shawn gives his hand a little squeeze. Kevin open his eyes wondering who his there with him.
"Shawn?" he asks, surprise in his voice
"Yes baby, I'm here," Shawn answers, kissing his hand.
"What are you doing here, I thought Vince said that you had to work, that you couldn't come," Kevin says, looking at Shawn with pain in his eyes.
"I told Vince that he could take his job and shove it, that if he didn't give me time off I would quit, he change his mind real fast because he knew that I meant every words," Shawn say with a chuckle.
"Thank you baby," Kevin says looking at Shawn.
So when your feeling like you can't go on...Don't you know...You never walk alone no...You live in me...
Kevin whimper in pain, grabbing his thigh, Shawn look up just in time to see big silent tears rolling down his lover's face. Shawn sits on the bed next to Kevin, putting his arms around Kevin's shoulders pulling him gently against him. He can feel Kevin tense up with pain as he holds him.
"Oh God, it hurt so bad baby," Kevin say, tears still rolling down his face.
"It's all right baby, you're going to be all right, it might take a while but you will be fine," Shawn say, looking at Kevin.
"I'm sacred baby, I don't know if I can make it this time," Kevin say, looking frighten.
"Listen to me Kevin Nash, I don't ever want to hear you say things like that again," Shawn say looking straight into Kevin's eyes.
"You should leave me baby, I can only bring you down, I will be out for at least a year if I ever make it back, you don't need the cripple that I am," Kevin say, bursting into tears.
"Don't ever say that again, when I had my back surgery, you were there for me, you had to carry me up and down the stairs, you had to help me go to the bathroom and to take a bath. Did you consider me a burden?" Shawn asks, looking at Kevin.
"Of course not, you were hurt and I took care of you that's all," Kevin says resting his head on Shawn's shoulder.
"Well I won't either, I love you and I will be there for you for however long you need me," Shawn say, running his fingers through Kevin's hair.
Shawn can feel Kevin tense up with pain, trembling against him. Shawn hold on to him tightly, whisper words of love in his ear.

The nurse walk in, she smile looking at Kevin and Shawn, she put his pain medication in his IV line then she leave. Shawn can feel Kevin's tears dripping on his neck. Shawn take Kevin's face in his hands, kissing him on the checks, licking his tears away. Shawn notice the sleepiness in Kevin's eyes, he knows that the medication is starting to work.
"Relax baby, don't fight it, I'll be here when you wake up, I promise I'm not going anywhere," Shawn say, gently rubbing Kevin's neck and shoulders.
Kevin rest back on the pillow pulling Shawn against his chest, he fall asleep again. Shawn look at him, knowing that his goal in life was to help Kevin get better, to see him smile again.
