Hi, Fourth week completed, and the May Day holiday
enjoyed. I have also learned how to  Morning chores In Newent
a book about the town talks of being now in the 'noughty' era. (Noughts

Mitcheldean has a church, Post Office, shops, Medical Centre,
and an old Xerox factory. |

 Turn around for this stunning view of the church,
set in the middle of the village. |
Just inside the main door of the church is the font, with a
list of Clergy on the wall. We chatted to a lady, who told us that the
small pipe organ has 'died', and that the spire has a crumbling base. The
church has been widened twice in the past. |
