Photos taken April 28-May 6, 2003
Hi,
Fourth week completed, and the May Day holiday enjoyed. I have also learned how to Palm Sunday
Morning chores In Newent a book about the town talks of being now in the 'noughty' era. (Noughts and Crosses revisited). Clever!

May God smile on you today,
Elizabeth

02 Mitcheldean has a church, Post Office, shops, Medical Centre, and an old Xerox factory. 09 - The street from the other end, showing overhanging upper stories of the older houses.
04 -
Turn around for this stunning view of the church, set in the middle of the village.
05 - Just inside the main door of the church is the font, with a list of Clergy on the wall. We chatted to a lady, who told us that the small pipe organ has 'died', and that the spire has a crumbling base. The church has been widened twice in the past.
21 - Rainbow - notice Derek's Four Sisters, the trees on the horizon. 20 Other end of the rainbow, over our neighbour's house
