BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP
You
are now listening to the piano song of "Baa Baa Black Sheep". I
am sure you must be so familar with this song, right?! So, why not stand up
now and sing this sould loudly!!! Do It Now! (maybe you can wing your body
like this sheep while you are singing ^_^)

BAA, baa, black
sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full;
One for the master,
And one for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.
In an
earlier version, this 200-year-old rhyme was a little less friendly. promising
"none for the little boy / Who cries in the lane." As far back as
ca. 1000-1100 of the Middle Ages, England had developed an important cloth
industry based on sheep's wool. The division of bags mentioned
here may well refer to export tazes placed on wool in 1275.
Oh
My, Oh My~~ I added this rhyme (one of my Top 10 favorite) a long, long time
ago on this site. And then, I found that one of the recent stories of 'Earl
Cain' is in fact related to this rhyme! I guess it's because this baa baa
sheep song is so very famous that Kaori Yuki used it and created the "BLACK
SHEEP" story!
