Early Gunnery |
|
Welcome to the Early Gunnery Website This site has been set up to encourage the study of pre 17th century gunnery and its re-creation in battles as practised in the the Society for Creative Anachronism |
The gallery contains a collection of pre 17th century art with a gunnery theme along with pictures of guns built prior to 1600 that still survived today |
The SCA Gunnery pages are intended to provide information on how to build historically inspired guns for safe use in SCA warfare. It is also hoped they will become a chronicle of the future history of gunnery in the SCA |
The Society for creative anachronism is a historical re-creation / recreation society based primarily around pre 17th century europe. To find out about the SCA follow the links to the official websites of the SCA in America and Australia. |
