Ok... I know Dave Grohl looks nothing like that ugly punk picture above. It's a bad taste, but it kinda reminds me of that punk he played in that Everlong video, so I guess this picture is not that bad after all! Here are some information I have on him. 

                                  January 14th 1969 - Born as David Eric Grohl in Warren Ohio.

                                  The Year 1977 - Started to mess around with guitars.

                                  Summer of 1979 -  Knew how to play 'Smoke Under Water' 

                                  Spring of 1980 - Started recording songs on cassettes with his best friend. He was only 11.

                                  December  25th 1981 - Got his first electric guitar, which was a Silvertone.

                                  Summer of 1982 - Cousin brought him to see a rock concert. That was his first concert.

                                  Summer of 1984 - Joined a punk band call Freak Baby as a guitarist.

                                  The year 1985 - Enter Mission Impossible and it was a blast of his teenage life.

                                  The year 1986 - Joined Scream as a drummer. Lied that he was 20 just to get in.

                                  Spring of 1987 - Was signed to another D.C. label, which is a reggae label... Eww...!

                                  Fall of 1987 - Went for his first American tour.

                                  February of 1988 - His first Europe tour.

                                  Fall of 1988 - Went to his first Monster of Rock Concert (Metalica, Scorpions etc) in Amsterdam.

                                  Spring of 1990 - Released Scream's final tape and recorded Live In Germany.

                                  The Year 1991 - Left for Seattle to join a group call Nirvana as a drummer. 

                                  The Year 1992 - Nirvana released their chart-topping album Nevermind. 

                                  April 5th 1994 - Nirvana lead singer committed suicide and the band 'broke up'.

                                  Later in the Year 1994 - Started recording songs for FOO FIGHTERS' self-titled album.

                                  The Year 1995 - Released FOO FIGHTERS' first album. 'Big Me' was a big hit!

                                  The Year 1996 - Started writing, composing, playing and recording FOO FIGHTERS' second

                                                                   album. Everyone considers The Colors and The Shape as FOO FIGHTERS'

                                                                   best work. I disagree. I consider it as DAVE GROHL'S best work.

                                  The Year of 1999 - Recorded FOO FIGHTERS' third album in his home in Virginia and released

                                                                     that album's first singles 'Learn To Fly'.  

    Well, there were more news in between those years of course. Like, did you know that when he broke his first electric guitar - Silvertone, he replaced it with another one which is a black Memphis Les Paul copy? And when Kurt Cobain died, Dave thought that he'd never make music again. He thought he misses Kurt but actually, he missed making music. Dave thanked fellow friends from a band call 7 Year Bitch who wrote him a note and encourage him to continue with whatever he had planned earlier on and the told him "the desire to make music will come back, even though you don't feel like doing it now. Trust me, that feeling will come back to you one day..." Hey, I love these guys as well.

        And did you know which part of his body does Dave likes the least? Well, according to Dave, he hates his face the most! He said when he was young, he looks like a dork and he still thinks he is! Ha ha! I kinda agree with him, I mean he really isn't the most good looking person around, but who cares? It's his talent and personality that capture most people.

      Ok, just in case you haven't noticed, Dave Grohl has a pair of big brown eyes and he is 6 feet tall. He has black hair and it's really nice when he kept them long and all neatly tied-up like when in Nirvana. Adds character to his nerdy personality... (*wink*)

      Dave Grohl had his first 'drumming experience' by hitting his pillows on his bed when he was younger. He listens to the music, thinks of  the drum beat and imagines he is the drummer! Hey, dream came true! 

      When he was young, his parents were going to call him Hans, so at school he was known as Hans Grohlo. But now, Dave says everyone just calls him Disco. What a nick name for a punk rocker! Disco?!

      Dave adores The Beatles! He use to worship them as a kid. He even admitted that 'Big Me' was inspired by The Beatles' musical style.  Makes me wonder if Dave has got anything to do with Nirvana's 'In Bloom' video..?

      So, is he seeing anyone currently? He dated Wyionna Rider (who admires rockers of all kinds..) some times ago... and now.. well, I am not 100% sure, but all I can say is Courtney Love. No, he is not dating that woman. Love's band Hole. Still don't get it? What about ex- Hole bassist? Ring any bell? He he... the name is Melissa auf de Mars, very sexy and good looking and very good looking. She is like every men's dream girl and we should be proud OUR Foo front man got her!!! Way to go, Dave!!! Woo Hoo!!!

    Ok, I guess that is about it.
