Hey.., this is Nate, the only degree holder among the  FOO members. He earned his Double Degree in Journalism and History by working part time as a factory worker and as a sales person. Way to go, Nate!!! Ever wonder why he is always the one attending all those Aids convention thing? Well, now you know! (Cos he is more intellectual... in a way, technically speaking...But Dave Grohl is still the man behind everything FOO FIGHTERS does!)

         Nathan Mendel was born in the year 1968, so he should be 32 years old now. Nate divorced twice, but is currently seeing somebody else. There are rumors saying he is gay, and if I find out who started it, I am going to personally kick this person's ass! What baseless statement! Defamation!!! (Haha.. I learned that word from Ally McBeal!) Anyway, Nate joined FOO FIGHTERS with ex-Foo drummer Will Goldsmith, just right after their band - Sunny Day Real Estate broke up. The band broke up because the lead singer J. Enigik became a born again Christian... make any sense? Anyway... before he was in Sunny Day Real Estate, he was playing for a band call The Product of Rape.

             Personality wise, Nate is quiet and shy but he is a darling! Seriously! He seldom talks during interview but he gives out a lot of smiles... There are no other bassists I want more to be in FOO FIGHTERS besides Nate.
