HERE ARE SOME LATEST NEWS REGARDING FOO FIGHTERS.
I just heard from the radio that the Moffatts brothers want Dave Grohl to join them! Ok, this was what happened... Apparently, the Moffatts saw Dave at a party, gathered their courage, walked up to Dave Grohl and asked if Dave would work with them. They said Dave was so cool and funny!!! Well, they have weird sense of humor ; Dave said "Get lost, you kids! Go bug someone or play with kids your own age!" Hahaha! No, Dave Grohl didn't say that! Actually, the Moffatts wanted (begged!) Dave to help them produce an (upcoming) album. G.A.S ( the Foo management) has yet to decide about that matter. Some believe that the Foos' 4th album would be more of a pop-rock than anything they've done. I wouldn't believe that at first, but now, I have to say I am kinda doubtful too... But if Dave feels that that is the kind of music he wants to make, I will be right behind him!!! Go ahead, Dave! Do what's right to you!!!
Speaking of Dave, he is nominated for the VH1 world's sexiest rockers. You can vote for Dave, only... if only you think he is THAT sexy. Others competing are; the well-built Scott from Creed, sexy lead vocalist from Stone Temple Pilots, good looking Anthony from RHCP, the ever so groovy Jon from Bon Jovi... the list of sexy people goes on.... and there's our very own Mr. Grohl.
FOO FIGHTERS was nominated for 2 awards for their 'Learn To Fly' video in this year's MTV Video Music Awards. They are up for the Best Group Video and Best Direction in a Video. The Foos did not win the awards.
And did you know that the Foos just finish filming their next single's video in LA? It's for that song 'Next Year', the theme is about space and astronauts... (hey, I thought you mustn't be taller than 5 feet 8 to be an astronaut?! That rules out Dave and Taylor!!! ) The Foos shot this video in just 2 days in a huge Universal studio. They did some 15 costume change and the space suits the Foos wore are actually NASA originals. The director is Phil Harder and the video shows us about how US invested in space exploration during the 60's especially in 1969. (hey cool, Dave was born in that year!) Well, I think it's a cool Foo video. Great editing work, I must say! If you still haven't seen it yet, you can check some of the clips from the Official Foo Site, or you can have a look at some of the pictures taken during the making of this video in another Foo site - Stacked Actors.
Well, that's about all I know so far... the Foos will be touring Europe but I don't have the tour dates yet. Sob* Sob*
I miss them so much!
