The name is Taylor Hawkins (born February 1972) and he is the drummer in FOO FIGHTERS. I think everyone already knows  by now that Taylor use to surf. He grew up in Laguna Beach, California where  he learned how to surf. He was actually born in Texas. He is about 5feet 11 and he has green eyes and (duh!) blonde hair. Everyone that I know thinks he is the cute one in FOO FIGHTERS. I agree, well you will too if you've seen him flashing his million- dollars smile!

            Before joining FOO FIGHTERS, Taylor use to be in Alanis  Morrisette's tour band. He did play for the MTV thingy, on the  'You Oughta Know' song. He just loves hitting the drums and that was what he did in all his youth life. Drumming. And smoking. And hmm... delivering pizzas...

            He is currently dating Mimi, which I think is great, unlike how other diehard Taylor fans (Mrs. Hawkins wannabes!) think. Hey, the boy can date whoever he wants... well, as long as he is happy..!

             Taylor told interviewers that he had lots of fun during the recent Foo's US tour-concert with Red Hot Chili Peppers. Those Chili Peppers guys really think that Taylor Hawkins is a very fun person to be with. When  MTV were doing an interview with Chili Peppers, one of the questions to Anthony Kiedis was "Among all the drummers you have had, who do you like best?" People was expecting him to say 'Chad Smith is our best so far' but guess what... Anthony said he would want Taylor play for them! He said "Taylor is one of the most amazing drummer I know, and I've always love the unique way Dave plays the drums, ever since when he is in Nirvana..." (Chili Peppers did a US tour thingy with Nirvana before) Anyway, the point is the Chili Peppers love the Foos, especially our darling Taylor. They said Taylor is funny and fun fun fn to be with. 

                 I read somewhere that Taylor's hobby is to gross people out by eating pizza... Ha ha! Maybe that's because he used to work as a pizza delivery boy. 

            Almost everyone (Foo fans) who've met Taylor said that he is easy to talk to and extremely friendly! He and Dave Grohl really clicked, and mainly because both of them are drummers. Taylor also plays the guitar and piano. He wrote some music and some times the Foos will jam to his work. He sings pretty well too. Have you heard 'Learn To Fly' Single B side song 'Have A Cigar'...? It is a  strange rewrite by the Foos of Pink Floyd's original work.  My friend told me Taylor got to sing that song just because they can't get Brian May to sing it.... Well, anyway, I think Taylor did a great job there!
