these are the 3 ways to become in the top 10. The 3 things are 1-specializing 2-construction sites 3-expanding ill got throught them in order. 1-SPECIALIZING it is very importnat to specialize if you play techer only have 200 industrial complexes and the rest resech labs. if you play casher have those industrial complexes and evenly split enterprise zones and residences. as a milbaser have just military bases. the only acceptable mix is indys/farms/rigs because they arent really dependent on the percentage of land they cover. you can easily get in the top 200 with a mixed start but not in the top 100. 2-CONSTRUCTION SITES this is where many people fail. having alot of construction sites may seem useless because late in the game instead of wastign 20 turns to fill up a 1000 landgrab you only need to spen 10 turns.. now how many to build is a hard question. all i can say it depends on your strategy. a techer should have atleast 400 construction sites. the casher can have less since he loses as much income when he landgrabs. 3-EXPANDING expanding can be tough for some people. they find more comfortable to generate cash,reserch and do whatever. to be succesful you MUST expand. how to expand is another tough question it also depneds on your strategy. the techer shoudl only make planeed striks against big targets. the casher and the industrialist should have some standard then 5 planeed striikes for a techer a day midway through the reset would be like this. he finds a target with half his nw and 10k acres. makes a planned strike(only jets and h=gets 1100 acres. he tears down the unwanted buildings he gets and builds reaserch labs in there place. then he reserches until he gets his readiness to 100% and finds another target. then they should reserch the rest of the day. a cashers day is a little different. if played well they shouldnt have any acres at the end of the day. he doesnt need to genearte cash since he gets a good income from just playing his turns. he first finds a target and gains 200-400 acres. then planned strike many other targets but with bigger nw you shoudl keep dfoing this to u have 50k-80k acres. you should thewn fill them up with residences and enterprise zones. once youve done this just generate cash alot since you should get huge amounts of money now. the industrialist should use the smae strategy but should have more land since they expand from the start. |
