LAMPHUN ELEPHANT HOSPITAL in northern Thailand is the only elephant hospital in the world...
November 2004
This lady elephant was wild in the jungles of Myanmar (Burma).  She stepped on a landmine there and walked all the way to Thailand for help.
Thank you everyone in America who donated $$$ to be delivered on these amazing journeys...
This lady elephant is MOTALA, the first elephant landmine survivor.
