See which Greek Goddess you are.

Which Goddess are You? I'm Gaea-the EarthMother! (No surprise there!)
A Blended Faith System

I guess you would call my belief system eclectic ~ as was my mother's.
My grandmother was of Germanic extraction, Grandpapa was French Canadian
-what is known as a Metis (French and Sioux.)  He was the most unbiased human being I ever knew. Because he taught his beliefs mostly by walking his talk, I fervently believe in the
Whirling Rainbow Prophecy and the Wisdom of the Earth teachings ~
I believe in Earth Magic and the Oneness of all Life ~
I believe in personal salvation through the sacrifice of a saviour.
I have known Jesus Christ since early childhood ~
He has been my soul's companion for as long as I can remember.

My belief system has evolved ~ as I have over the years ~
and it is as much a part of me as my head... or feet.. or heart.
It, like me, is in the act of Becoming and will not be "finished"
as long as I exist. No one gets too old or too complete to learn ~
we stop learning only when we close our hearts
and our minds to new experiences.

The problem is that when I try to have associations with Christians,
they think I am a raving Pagan. When I seek fellowship with Pagans,
they think I am a closed-minded Fundamentalist!
Most generally, neither side will allow me to tell them how I really believe.
They are both far too busy trying to tell me how I believe to let me
get a word in edgewise.When asked what my beliefs are I say that I am
a Christian who is Goddess-aware, because that is what I am.
I love Jesus and have a personal aquaintance with Him;
I am baptized in His Name and He is my Lord.

I know and respect the Great Goddess, too.
For me, She is the Earth Mother; manifested in the natural world.

I believe there are many spirits, elementals and powers of the earth all
around us at all times. My spirit animals are the horse and the badger;
my ally in the world of green growing things is the Willow tree.

I attend a Pentecostal Church for praise and worship.
I love the spontaniety and freedom to worship in Spirit and in Truth I find there.
I also worship in my home and outside of it - in the yard, working with growing things,
under the vault of the Heavens, bare feet in contact with Mother Earth,
the endless blue sky above, the scent of earth and water filling my senses,
breathing in the flower-scented air and feeling the caress of a summer breeze;
at such times my spirit soars and becomes one with all of creation.

I am grateful for all the things my mother taught me;
for the eclectic outlook,which, while sometimes is uncomfortable,
encompasses the whole of my being.
My praises are to the Creator and my energies are directed toward
educating people about the wonders of the natural world and the need to accept
one another as the blood kin we all are, for truly, all life on the planet is interconnected
and related. We are One.
