Our mission at EarthRescue is:

  • To protect our environment, health, economic well-being, and strengthen the human community, and promote quality of life;
  • To provide relevant information to consumers and motivate caring shoppers to reward sustainable business practices;
  • To work with industry and business to create a Sustainable Marketplace (tm);
  • To lead the way in to the sustainable marketplace by voting with our dollars for sustainability;
  • To turn the masses of consumers into a conscious population of sustainers - people who shop as if life on earth depends on it! Because it does!
  • Sustainable Markets Mean Good Business! (tm)

    Earth Rescue is an environmental information, consumer action and education center. We work for the prevention of health-threatening pollution, creation of environmentally safe jobs and businesses, and empowerment of people to create a Sustainable Marketplace (tm)

    The Sustainable Marketplace is the marketplace where business is good - good for the people and good for the planet so that it will be in good condition for our children and their children

    In the unsustainable marketplace consumers unwittingly support pollution, depletion of natural resources, the unraveleing of the web of life which maintains us all, cruelty, assassination, slavery, and greed!

    Our Goal

    A Sustainable Future...

    It Starts Where We Live...

    Americans make up only 5% of the world's population, yet we consume 75% of the planet's resources. We then waste up to 75% of what we consume due to inefficiency and lack of awareness.

    In the U.S., between 35% and 85% of a community's natural resources are used at the household level. Even more resources are consumed indirectly through the purchase of products and services. Households are also a major source of air pollution from auto emissions and water pollution from toxic chemicals entering the ground water.

    How we live is a big part of the problem...

    It can also be a big part of the solution, if we adopt more environmentally sustainable lifestyles. That means exercising more care, or stewardship, in our use of the Earth's finite resources (trees, water, energy, minerals, land) to ensure that there will be enough left for our children and their children.
