The current GeForce
2 MX seems to be quite popular. "The addition of the GeForce2 MX 200
and 400 gives us a well-rounded family of mainstream GPUs with multi-market,
high-volume appeal," stated Dan Vivoli, senior vice president of marketing
at NVIDIA. That's why nVidia has brought out new versions of the chip -
the MX200 & MX400. To me this just makes getting a video card
more complicated :-(.
The MX200 will be slower and cheaper then the original
MX.
The MX400 will be more powerful then the original MX.
However, they wont be much slower/faster then the
original MX. The MX400 won't perform faster then the GTS.
The chips are currently out in the market. |
