In one episode, we find Lion-O having nightmares about 3 of his countrymen dying on Thundera and when he wakes, Jaga shows up to tell him that they are alive. Later, Cheetara (after trying everything else) using her 6th sense to look back in time to see that they were saved by two Berbils and they all made it to 3rd Earth.
This starts off multipart episodes that brings the New Thundercats into the show.

Snarfer:
He's the Nephew of Snarf, and acutally comes in when the Feliner is being made, when we learn that the Snarfs have also escaped and now live on their own planet. He eventally was taken back to that planet, after his adventure on 3rd Earth.
He came back later and stayed with the New Thundercats in the Tower of Omens, helping with repairs and such.
Lynx-o:
The eldest of the three, he lost his sight during the destruction of Thundera. Because of this, his other senses were highten. When the Tower was erected, he has a brail board made so that he could "sense" things around 3rd Earth.
He has this dish on his wrist which can repeal an attack.
Pumyra:
The only female of the bunch, she has a great knowledge of medicine and healing. She has a whip like weapon which looks like a cat's tail and pelets that explode on contact.
Bengali:
A white tiger, he is the younger male of the three. He is a skilled craftsman, and has been able to reforg the Sword of Omens once. His weapon is a hammer.
Scoper:
A mechanical dog made by the Berbils. He was given to the twins and is very friendly. He's able to comunicate with a monitor and voice recognition.
