The Quarry - Minecraft Much to Master Zenshiro's dismay, Triegren Impressed a splendid brown, and became T'gre. With Garionth beside him, T'gre felt stronger than he ever had working in the mine. Out in the sunlight, Garionth had a rust-copper color to him, and despite his insatiable curiousity and nearly insatiable hunger, he was a good dragonet. T'gre often found himself wondering as he oiledh is bond if any of his brothers or cousins other than G'rin had inherited the talent for sensing danger. Even though T'gre used his talent, he never abused it or bragged about it. That was foolish - like bragging about having ears.

GarionthGarionth roared happily, looking skyward as a bright blue dragon burst from Between above Aneris Weyr. It is Ajantith! Garionth cried, flapping his young wings joyfully. Ajantith landed near, and his rider dismounted, taking off his riding helmet as he walked towards T'gre. The new rider wiped the oil off his hands, and hugged his cousin in greeting.

"So Tiyanni found you out, huh?" T'gre asked his cousin.

"Yeah," G'rin said, blushing a bit. "Got conered by her and the Weyrleader after we gathered the dragons to catch a fallen weyrling. Odd part is he isn't one of ours, and he was very badly Scored." G'rin siad, sitting down on a stone bench.

You were oiling me? Garionth prompted, having finished greeting his big blue relative. T'gre picked up the oil bottle and cloth and resumed his work.

"And you told them about me?"

"Only because Tiyanni hinted that they could use someone else like me at the Weyr." G'rin explained. "And Ajantith said that Garionth said that you said it was ok."

T'gre grined. "It is ok. I'm not ashamed of my Talent." the brownrider said. G'rin smiled. He was learning how to cope with the attention it brought now.

"Err... tell me, T'gre -- your talent isn't restricted to rockfalls, is it?"

T'gre laughed. "Naw... I can predict avalanches, snowfalls, and waterfalls too!" G'rin pushed him playfully.

"That's not what I meant, and you know it T'gre!" he laughed.

"Seriously though, It's not limited, but since most of the danger in the mine is rock-related, that's where the majority of my predictions were. Just the other day, I was warned of danger on the stairs as I passed them. Got back just in time to catch one of the weyrwomen when she fell." T'gre seemed to glow a bit with pride.

She was very grateful Garionth told Ajantith, and the blue nodded.

"Shards and Shells!" G'rin and T'gre exclaimed simultaneously, leaping out of the way as a green tumbled out of Between precariously close to the ground. If they hadn't moved, they would have been horribly injured from the dragon colliding with them. Even Ajantith and Garionth had moved quickly once their riders got the warning.

Another close call...

What will become of T'gre and Garionth?
