A'ndo had just finished the new roster for his wing when Alivirth woke from his dozing.

You know that Weyr where Phylith and Ducath hatched?? The bronze asked.

A'ndo set down his pen. "You mean Falas?" he said, rising and taking the new list to post up.

We should go there. The bronze said with recognisable smugness in his tone.

"Oh?" A'ndo said, "And why should we do that?"

You know why. The bronze said. He was muscular and strong, with large wide wings.

"Alivirth, you hatched at Rose Circle. Don't you want to go back and chase there?"

Not Really. I'd much rather persue the beautiful Flynnth. She'll rise soon, and I am strong and healthy.

A'ndo chuckled. "You chased Lilith, but didn't catch her. What says you'll win Flynnth?" A'ndo queried.

Lilith only had eyes for Akalinth. It was destined.

"And if she has eyes for another?"

It matters not. I live for the chase.

A'ndo laughed. "You win, Alivirth. Let's get this cross-weyr flight arranged."

Alivirth grinned draconically. He loved it when he won.
