Chrono Trigger is one of the greatest RPGs I have ever played. This was also the game that got me into playing RPGs so I owe my lack of social skills(and untimately my lack of action with the opposite sex) to this fine game. The Graphics are really detailed and rich far exceeding the 16-bit capabilites of the SNES.
Ok so the if you read the rating I gave it then you might disagree and might be saying that the gameplay isnt all that original(its like FF..etc). BUT I rated it that way because in this game you can actually see the enemies that you are going to fight and you don't have to wait for a fight screen or anything. I thought this was really cool because you could avoid fights if you tried hard enough(some are really hard to avoid!).
The graphics for this game are outstanding. The super-deformed anime style that is used makes the characters and scenery look really smooth, rich and clean. I like this style mostly because it looks really good and not all pointy and edgy like some of the Playstation RPG character styles.

The Characters in the game are hip and loveable(excuse my use of words). Chrono is the cool daring type, Frog is strong and silent, Marle the tough & pretty girl, Lucca the mechanical genious, Robo the cool robot, and Magus the dark mysterious cooler guy.(These explanations leave much to the imagination!) You will fall in love with the characters as they lead you on different Adventures.

The longevity of this game is most definitely a 10. There are alot of different directions to go in the game and with 14 different endings, it will keep you coming back for more time and time again. Although I've only see 5 of the different endings I am sure I will find the time someday to see the rest.(especially the one where you get to talk to Akira Toriyama!)
