On be half of the eastern shore teams hosting this event, the Tournament Committee would like to welcome back all those player, coaches, managers and parents who attended previous years tournaments and to those who are attending for the first time. Our aim with this tournament is to provide a sense of participation for all the teams and families. As in the past, emphasis is put on FAIR PLAY and GOOD SPORTS-MANSHIP, and we ask that this be kept in mind throughout the duration of the tournament.

This year’s tournament will have a total of sixteen teams participating, the Eastern Shore Minor Hockey Association is very pleased with the Cooperation and enthusiasm that we have received from particular teams and sponsors. Our thanks go to those businesses and persons who gave time, merchandise and financial assistance to help make this tournament a success.

We have our Hospitality Room at the Eastern Shore Community Center. The Room will be open Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday. We welcome any comments or suggestions regarding this event. Should you have any question or concerns, please feel free to speak to any member of the Tournament Committee, who can be identified by a bright badge.

All of the on ice officials are certified for this level of hockey. We ask that all players, coaches, managers and fans treat these officials with the RESPECT due to them. In keeping with the spirit of House and Recreational League hockey, this tournament has been established to celebrate the ideals of fair play and good sportsmanship. We encourage everyone, player and fans alike, to stay true to these ideals from the drop of the first puck to the presentation of the championship banner.

In closing, we wish all the teams and their fans the best of luck and trust you will enjoy a week of great hockey and Eastern Shore hospitality.
