Highlights of the 2003 season...      
           

Gettysburg Invitational:
The boys team took second in the Small School Division with Brandon Bear finishing second in 16:37, Jason Hinkle in 17:38 and Andy Strittmatter in 17:42. Tom Levisky followed with a 18:07 giving Eastern four finishers in the top 30!!

The girls team finished in third place with Katelyn Nace finishing eight with a time of 21:11 followed by Rebecca Alvey with a time of 21:44 and Tiffani Ream with a time of 21:55. Great running ladies!!
           
Carlisle Invitational:
Sept 27th, 2003
Boys team placed 4th in the Race of Champions. Brandon Bear leading Eastern with a 17:16 followed by Jason Hinkle with a 17:41, Andy Strittmater 18:04, Tom Levisky 18:57, Pat Crimmins a 19:13.
           
YAIAA Division II:
Once again it came down to a race between Eastern and York Suburban, this time on Eastern's home course located at Sam Lewis State Park. Two teams so evenly matched, it was a very exciting meet. York Suburban, victorious with a 27-28 score. Eastern placed 1 with Brandon Bear finishing 17:19 (second fastest time ever at Eastern's home course). Suburban had the 2nd runner position with Sean Erdenbrack. Eastern's Jason Hinkle finished in the 3rd spot. The York Suburban girl's team also took their Division Championship.
           
YAIAA Championship: 
Get job Knights - 3 medal winners: Brandon Bear 5th with a time of 16:31, Jason Hinkle 6th with a time of 16:48, and Andy Strittmatter with a time of 17:28. Outstanding!!
           
District 3 Class AA: 
Another great showing from Jason Hinkle finishing 8th with a time of 17:15 and Brandon Bear finishing 10th in 17:18. In addition to that, the team places 3rd overall and advances to PIAA competition.
           
PIAA State Championships: 
Congratulations go to Jason Hinkle for his 24th place finish (medal winner) with a time of 17:08.
