Wednesday January 7	Around the World - Introduction An introduction to our first theme of the year - Arould the World. We will be exploring different countries around the world and comparing them with our own. Homework for next week will be to learn a few phraes in the language of the country you will be given to study tonight.
Wednesday January 14	Around the World - Flags We will be looking at the flags of the various countries that we have started to study. You will be able to produce the flag of your particular country by the end of the meeting.
Wednesday January 21	No Meeting
Wednesday January 28	Around the World - Phrases Beavers will present the phrases they have learned over the past week to the whole colony. Homework for next week will be to bring a small sample of a food from the country you have been responsible for.

NOTICE:
• In order to insure the safety of your children. Beavers must be escorted to all events including regular meetings by an adult. Please come in to the rec. centre with your Beaver for drop off or pick up. Thank you for your cooperation.

• "Parent/Guardian Consent Form must be filled out, signed and dated for all events or activities not held at our usual meeting place (Our Pond) Shill Rec. Centre. This is a Scouts Canada requirement. Consent Forms will be supplemented with a "Physical Fitness Certificate". Thank you for your cooperation.
