Their first single "swear it again" tops the chart on 1st MAy'99

Afterwards they released two singles: "If i let you go"

and "Flying without wings"

These two singles also went straight to the top of the charts.

Their fourth release: "seasons in the sun" and "i have a dream" also topped both Irish and British charts. Thus earning them CHRISTMAS NO: 1

When they released their fifth single "fool again" there were great

specalutations wheather they will be able to Maintain their Top notch

position..And the lads did it again!! on 8thApril'2000 their single went to

the top as well.

They have broken the record of B*witched whose first four all crashed in at the top only for them to see their fifth single peak at Number 4.

They managed five number one hits within 49 weeks,Faster than anyone else else in history!!

They are the only Irish band to have a christmas no.1 in Britain.

They have entered the history books as the last Christmas no1 of this millenium!

What Westlife have achieved here is unprecedented in the 47 year history of the UK charts.

Hope their next single tops again so that they can break the record of spice girls who still have the honour of six singles topping the charts.
