Built around the latest NLX industry specification for small computer technology the case itself is only 8.5cm(H) x 28.5cm(W) x 33.5cm(D) [3.3"x11.2"x13.2"] but has room for a standard 3 * floppy drive, a slim style cd-rom drive, hard drive as well as a beefy 150 W power supply, one of the largest in computers of this size.

Quality
Only components from top-of-the-line manufacturers are used in the SeaFarer I, including the Intel BX chip set, Intel processors, ATI Rage Pro video, Yamaha sound and Western Digital and Maxtor hard drives.

Expandability
Although small, the SeaFarer I provides all the input/output interfaces you would expect in a marine computer and more including a parallel printer port, two 9-pin serial ports, video port, game port, speaker out and line-in ports, headphone and microphone jacks plus a 10/100 Mb/s LAN connector, two USB (universal serial bus) ports and an infrared port for remote control devices as well as two full-size expansion slots for adding peripheral devices.
