A List of Cuts made to Hong Kong Movies by

the British Board of Film Classification

· The following is a list of cuts made by the BBFC to HK films release on videotape. Any cuts are likely to apply to any subsequent DVD releases of the same film.

· Where I have knowledge of what has been cut I have written a short commentary on the edited scenes along with other notes of interest

· When a film is released internationally, the film distributors sometimes edit the film themselves to appeal to different audiences around the world. Dialogue scenes are most commonly trimmed down. For the purposes of this list only additional cuts which have been made by the BBFC - cuts due to censorship, have been noted

· If there are any films which are not listed but should be or if you have any information on cut scenes, please let me know!
