• Lam Ching Ying became type-cast in the role of Taoist Priest in more movies, many of which were terrible. It's a shame since he possessed superb screen fighting skills (as seen in Prodigal Son) and was capable of much more
• Chin Siu Ho never made it as a huge movie star despite his good looks, acting ability and good fighting skills (check out ' I'll finally knock you down dad ' for a full showing of his ability). Another shame

Very nice. Clear and sharp and no signs of pixelisation/artefacts. The original print is in pretty good condition, a few nicks here and there but nothing too major.

Sound

Also very good. The 5.1 mix is actually pretty good though most sound comes from the front 2 channels.

Extras

Nothing outstanding, but the trailer for Mr Vampire is a nice addition (since it's pretty good).

Overall

Considering the age of the film, it's highly unlikely there would be any behind the scenes footage available which pretty much limits the amount of supplementary material available for the DVD release. So extras aside, the DVD is very good and if you like the film is definitely worth buying.
