  Alanis Morissette said that she battled with Anorexia as a teenager as she was convinced that she wasn't good enough.

She says: "As a young girl, I felt demeaned, and that hurt me. I made that to mean that I was bad and terrible. There was a lot of focus on what the external was.  I struggled with eating disorders all through my teen years… Some of it was just because of magazines and society and messages and family and school and everything."

 Mary-Kate Olsen was admitted to rehab at the end of June 2004 with an eating problem.  In a statement from her representative on June 22nd she said, "Mary-Kate is thankful for the encouragement and support of her friends and family who are with her every step of the way,"

  Geri Halliwell, a former member of the Spice Girls suffered from Bulimia.  For her, it is a recurring illness and it started at age 19 whilst a dancer in Spain.  Throughout her time as a Spice Girl she suffered from Bulimia which was shown by her fluctuating weight.  Last year Geri finally sought treatment at the Cottonwood De Tuscon clinic in Arizona.
