Sound unrealistic? Maybe a little, but you can just see
how people can be affected by what they see. Jane is probably sick and
tired of being compared to the Victoria Secret models or some thin actress
on TV. She just wants to fit in and look great when she puts on a swimsuit
to head to the beach. Is that so wrong? No, it's not wrong. It's fine to want to look good. But what Jane doesn't realize is that all of these models are made up and positioned just right to look as thin and fat-free as possible. Then when the pictures are all taken, somebody goes in and airbrushes all of the little blemishes and adjusts some of the contours so that the model looks absolutely perfect. Hmmmm... I wonder what would happen if we actually saw a REAL model on the cover of a magazine. Would you still buy it? I'm sure you would. As long as the content is still good! ~Nikki V Katz
