Our 1997 Vacation Bible School

Our Children's Ministries Coordinator dreamed up an awesome VBS for 1997. The heart design is copied from the one on the t-shirts received by each of the children who attended. Each day of the week they 'visited' a different country/area of the world, sampled its foods & crafts, and learned about it and the status of the gospel there. Africa, China, Mexico, Russia, and the USA were the five areas. This is my cover page introducing the pages.

'Vacation' lettering

I saw this in b&w in the "Lettering and Liking It" book (p25 & backcover) and just had to use it! All pens used were Sakura pigment pens: Microns Callipens, and Brush pens.
